I had a legal sized document to scan. The gentleman counted the pages (10 of them) and told me it would be $21.40 to use the scanner due to the length of the document. What a rip off. Sir, this is a document scan only. This requires no paper or ink. Why would I pay you $21 to scan a document. So... I went to the George Memorial Library and scanned my document for FREE!!! Friendly folks but will scam you. I shipped some military documents to a military base using USPS and I found out they overcharged me over the weekend. I looked at the receipt to provide the tracking number to the receiver and noticed they had someone else's name and address as the receiver. I went back today (they are closed on Sunday and close at 2pm on Saturday) and showed them my receipt. I noticed in their computer the real price versus what I was charged. The tracking number was also different. Thats bad business and I will make sure to use the local USPS from now on. very por customer service. refused to give me receipt because it was just a drop off. he insisted that the package was registered as received in the system so there was no need for him to give me a receipt to confirm that the package was dropped at his location. when I questioned what if goes missing how do I prove it, he asked me to take it to someone else. was on the phone through out the conversation and was walking around while refusing to issue a receip. read more

I am pleased with the services I subscribe to at this business. Once you get to know him, the person behind the counter is very helpful. I am not sure if he is the owner or not. I think many of the negative reviews on this platform are because people don't understand this store's business model. They are NOT part of UPS (I.e. a UPS Store Franchise) or Fed Ex Either. They are an independent business offering a CONVENIENCE and conveniences are not free. They have a right to collect revenue to pay for overhead. If one doesn't want to pay for a drop off fee, they can find the correct storefront or agent to visit. I do whatever I can to stay away from the Richmond Post Office. From the parking to some of the people that work there, it's just not a good experience. read more

I've tried to come to this place 2 other times and Each time "Oh Sorry We Don't Do That" I have a FedEx return and they have Authorized FedEx stamped all over their little store! The last time I came, they wanted to charge me a $4 fee for a package that was already PAID! Only if you need to drop a letter with a stamp already on it or you need to copy a short document should you even try to come in here. But be careful because they might stop Doing That as well! I avoid the US Post office like the plague...they always have an ugly attitude and don't really seem to care. There is always a long, slow line at US Post office. I'll pay a little more any day to get great service. This Postal Plus location is my go-to and the owner is always very helpful. They send me notifications by email when my packages are delivered and maintain my previous shipping addresses in their database so it's a breeze. As a business owner,I really appreciate the great service. Also, I see reviews with people upset they are being charged for services or drop offs etc. Whoever thinks they should be able to walk into a store like this and get stuff for free needs to realize it's a business and has lots of overhead. They have to make money on each transaction or else they close the doors....for me that would be heartbreaking, because this store is a gem in my world. read more

I went to this place to drop a UPS package for which I had already paid postage online, and they had the gall to charge $1 dropoff fee. I walked away and found another place. Are you kidding me? What is next? A fee for simply entering their place of business? I reported them to UPS, who told me those fees are at the discretion of the individual postal center, not a UPS fee, but that not everybody charges the stupid fee.
