Chop chop salad
Alyson C.

Excellent food and drinks. Chop chop salad was devoured and this is all that's left! We ordered the D's wicked cider, and it was amazing.

Blood drippings.
Justin B.

Burger was dripping in blood. Brought to the server's attention and all he could say was "sorry you didn't enjoy it."

Great service and great location directly across the street from The Grand Historic. This restaurant is owned by the Davenport.

My go to when I travel for work to Spokane. Beer is cold and the bartenders are very friendly. The verde stew is my go to.

Great service, good menu and a wonderful selection of beers. Apparently open at 6am as well, so you can go for breakfast. I'll be back!

This beautiful hotel is located right in downtown Spokane, across from the Spokane River…read more I stayed here for 5 nights, and even though the hotel had high occupancy, the check-in and check-out process was fairly smooth since my husband is a Bonvoy member. Our room was on the 11th floor overlooking downtown. The room was spacious and had all the basic amenities. I really liked the bench deck right by the window over the AC unit. The room also had a decent-sized workstation and a spacious closet. The hotel featured a very well-equipped gym, plus a vending machine on the same floor stocked with water, other beverages, and first-aid or wellness essentials (deodorant, shaving foam, etc.). The hotel also had an in-house spa as well. The in-house cafe called Espresso offered some really good coffee. The in-house dining was also quite good. We opted for room service twice, and it was a great experience both times!

I'm probably here about 3 times a year. Why?! Why don't you tell your customers about this? - the water was shut off between 1-4 on a Monday morning. I got an email on it. And was woken up at 1am by the loudest pipe grinding and squeaking noise. I literally thought a steam roller was coming through my room. - front desk service was flat and unfriendly. Grand - I just can't with you.

The outside of this hotel is so cute, like a ski lodge. We were only there for one night and got a…read moreroom on the second floor with a balcony. We had views of the river. With only a short walk to the riverwalk, we were able to hoof it to dinner, coffee, and attractions. Loved being able to walk. Our room was spacious. Pillows and bed were comfortable. Room was dark and cool for sleeping. Everything was clean. Even had a towel folded on our pillow that looked like a teddy bear. So cute. Breakfast was the best free breakfast we've had on our trip. Bacon, scrambled eggs, real oatmeal, orange infused ice water. Staff was nice and helpful, for example, providing directions to get to riverwalk. Free parking. Great stop.

This is a gigantic building - I guess it used to be something else? A different hotel? Or it's just…read moreunusual for a Holiday Inn Express. It's easy to get to but there are pros and cons to that - as it's in a very popular area, with a college nearby, tons of restaurants with zero tables (all reserved, even in the middle of the week), and just a medium walk to the big Riverside mall and the famous Spokane falls, not to mention an events center where, apparently, a major concert was happening on the night of our stay (thus the sold out-ed-ness of everything, I guess?). Bummer about the crowdedness and the busyness. Very cool about the gorgeous hotel, the premium lobby with the most delicious lemonade water we have ever had, and free cookies, the comfy room with a sliding door onto the grass so we could easily walk the dog. Be warned that this hotel is so close to the hotel across the street that when we ordered out for dinner, the address showed up over there.

We stayed one night in the Premier Suite. It was very modernly updated (compared to the more…read morevintage character of other rooms in this hotel), with exposed ceiling beams and what appeared to be original brick walls, located in a newer wing near the side of the building where Ella's Supper Club used to be. We heard rumors about this being one of Spokane's most haunted hotels and I can see how one might get a vibe that there's presence in the hotel. It was built in 1899, was abandoned for decades, and renovated. They did a beautiful job keeping up the historic aspects of the furnishings, and even the music in the halls was a little spooky. But rest assured, there were no spirits haunting our unit! Our room was adjacent to the Events Center and the building is structured such that we didn't hear the noise from the event going on at the time unless we put our ear to their door down the hall. It is easy to get lost because our room was in the 300's numbers but on the second floor, while other rooms in the 300's are on the third floor. There are two sets of elevators that take you to different parts of the connected buildings. If you're looking for the fitness center in the basement, don't use the elevator from the lobby or that will put you into the restaurant below. The amenities were great. It was like an entire apartment with a full kitchen and all the kitchenware to make it feel like home, plus it had a walk-in pantry. There was a big screen TV in every room and it was easy to hook up our own Firestick. I wished it had a second bathroom, and more hangers, as it does accommodate 4 people. The shower could use a shelf -- you have to put your bath toiletries on the floor of the shower. Bath robes and decor throughout made it cozy. The water vapor electric fireplace was a nice touch in the living room and we had a north facing view of the city surroundings. There was a dedicated room for washer and dryer, and they provide the detergents. The parking lot is small (about 15 spaces), and there's an overflow lot further away. There are several entry/exit doors on both First Av and Monroe St so that's a little confusing, but load in at the front entrance. It's conveniently located near the Fox and Bing theaters and several dining options. Our stay included free breakfast at Rosie's Restaurant. Overall a very nice stay!
