My mother sometimes sends a check in the mail to help us with bills since we are disabled. This post office has been holding my mom's letters, this is the third time now. No one at the post office will even speak to me over the phone or email to get this sorted out. We don't have a car. My mother is dying and having to cancel checks, this should be illegal. If I don't do my job, I don't get paid why does this post office get to continue getting paid when they choose who to deliver mail to? I am missing notices from the city, state and federal. USPS tells us to contact the specific office but the post office ignores us. This is gotten so bad we are going to have to move just to get our mail delivered properly. Someone should be held responsible for this. One friendly mail carrier had to go search for my mom's letter and found one of them. but 2 are just missing and my mom lives less than 20 miles away, there is no excuse for this. Showed a picture of the snow in front of the box which also showed my driveway. The employee said "You were able to clear your driveway. Why can't you clear in front of the mailbox?"

I had a simple drop-off situation but the people ahead of me had some complex returning situation and the people working there were way more patient about it than I probably would have been. This location also has lots of packing stuff, some office supplies and printer type stuff. It's also conveniently located near a Half Price books and other shopping destinations, so it's not out of the way if you have things to do. AND they're open every day of the week! I love that.

Not a single employee has any sense of urgency about anything. Every task is performed at a snail's pace. The staff talk to you like they're your parent and you're a toddler. Mommy knows best, while you, the simple child know nothing. For a while I was able to avoid these dreadful interactions by using the self service kiosk. It has its own set of irritants but it's legions more pleasant than dealing with a postal worker. I would intentionally go when they were closed so I could interact as minimally as possible. Lately though, the kiosk is out of service more often than not and if it's operational, the package drop off chute is locked, rendering the kiosk useless for the only reason I step foot in this awful establishment. The last straw was a morning I lugged a sack of packages inside, only to find the chute locked for the second time that week! A postal worker heard my frustration and had the nerve to accost me from behind the wall like a rude, petty Wizard of Oz. I was spending several thousand dollars a month shipping with the post office, but I have found a new home in UPS where I'm treated like a valuable customer, not an annoyance.

The inside is pretty large with very tall ceilings. There was only one person in line before us, so they were only 10 minutes late getting us in for our appointment. We didn't bring a photo of our baby, so they took one there. It is just a wooden stool with a little backdrop and an old cheap digital camera, which slightly surprised me because I could've done much better on my phone, but oh well. We paid $15 for the convenience. The man helping us did a great job and was thorough and knowledgeable and quick. We walked away, feeling confident that all the right steps were taken.

I finally call the post office in Miamisburg and spoke to a lady by the name of Sonia (found out later she is lead clerk) and she is absolutely amazing! She was polite, understanding, and went above and beyond! It is a great feeling to know there are still people like her out there! I give her 10 stars! It felt like I was running a dead end at every turn, but the entire time she stayed positive and encouraged me to stay positive too.
