I promise this will be constructive. First off my visit there this afternoon? Room for improvement. Kind of traumatizing. I didn't want to come into the Post Office in person. That's just me. I came in to find out why I wasn't getting my mail to my new address, when the clerk was impatient, somewhat hostile towards me. I did the best I could I mean I'm socially awkward , I work from home & I am not familiar with the P.O. new rule which isn't a great one. Please the front clerks could be a little more patient. The clerk I encountered wasn't. On a personal note: I can't help how I look! Tired of getting the bias. Going back to Seattle is looking better & better. And Seattle isn't friendly but better than here in West Palm Beach. Avoid this branch. Treatment = Bad & I didn't deserve to be treated in such a impatient, cold, hostile way. What a day! read more

Is there a reason why after filling out a change of address it took more than a week. The post office on Haverhill is a joke. They sent my passport they said to Texas after taking my money. Took 3 months to get it back. Now they are not sure what to do with a change of address card. The place is a pig pen. Oh my, please avoid this place at all costs. The post office is like a special hell on earth where you have to go because you can never get anybody to help you over the phone because the phone will just ring...and ring... and ring. The staffers here have a bit of an attitude which is not reminiscent of every post office I have been to, but nobody seems happy to be there. This particular location is very busy which means waiting in line for a long time to be helped. I dread every time I have to come here. After waiting in line for over 45 minutes, I was told I needed to step out of line to fill out address information for my package (which is understandable). I asked for a pen, and Devon, an extremely rude and disrespectful employee, gave me a sharpie to fill out the information which I was told after handing the paper in that I needed to use a pen. I said, "you gave me a sharpie to fill the paper out, and now you're having me fill it out again with a pen?" He said he's going on break and needs his sharpie back and proceeded to talk to me condescendingly, as if I don't speak English. I don't understand how someone can be so nasty after failing to supply the right tools. Devon should be fired because he is clearly not competent enough to be working in customer service, he can't handle his job, and he is very immature. I go in there with a prepaid package that just needs to be scanned and shipped out... the "super smart lady" at the post office tells me that shipping out this package will cost $50 because of the dimensions of the box and blah blah blah..... I'm confused as, hell how can this be??... it's a prepaid package, THE LABEL IS ON IT! and the box size and info is all in there, SO JUST SCAN THE DAM THING!!!! But instead of dealing with and wasting my time with an INCOMPETENT PERSON!! I leave, honestly wasn't even going to argue with her! I go to a different post office... and OMG GUESS WHAT!!!!????? The person simply just SCANS THE LABEL ON THE BOX!!! Takes my package, and that easily I walk away and even hear a "have a nice day".... my package was delivered safely and guess what else!!!???? It didn't cost me $50, I followed up with the person who received it and they had 0 issues also.... The people here are incompetent and freaking LAZY! you guys need to clean house and start over, seriously. Every single time I come here, I have a horrible experience. No joke ! Weather is my package being lost, or no one answering the phone and then taking the phone off the hook so they don't get the calls, this place is a nightmare and should be avoided at all costs. I really wouldn't even give one star. I'm not even one to write reviews either and normally shake things off but my encounter with this place was worth sharing. Regardless of it being the holiday season and business levels going up, I've never once received even a somewhat respectful interaction. Everyone is having a hard time this season, doesn't give an excuse to be rude, disrespectful, treat others like dirt and so forth. It's unacceptable, embarrassing and extremely inappropriate to talk back to a customer when all they're trying to do is simply mail a package. Unfortunately gave them the benefit of the doubt. Here's another fun fact. If you are an Amazon Prime Member, and you opt for 2 day delivery, and the post office is responsible for the Amazon delivery and your carrier is this particular office, 8/10 you will never get your package on time. Doesn't matter what day of the week you order it. You will end up having unlimited prime because Amazon gives you a free month every time the post office fucks up. read more

This has to be the most despicable excuse for a post office. I mean like wow look at all the 1 star reviews. I would honestly and seriously give it zero stars if that was an option. I have never in my life had so many issues with service and the way they shove your mail in the box damaging your mail and packages when you have a hold mail order in place is disgusting and they should actually close this facility down. Why? Why in the hell are they even allowed to stay open or why do these workers even get paid? I also love the way they scan your mail and send you a notification that it was left in front of your door when they in fact shoved it in your mailbox and you go crazy looking for it. And the cherry on top of everything I'm tracking the package that I've been waiting some time for and I get a notification from the company saying it was delivered so I go to my mailbox to retrieve it and I can't get in my mailbox because they changed my lock without my consent or even notify me when I desperately need a letter in there for an appointment and I check what's in my mailbox on the website they didn't even scan the package that's in there so they all wacky and screwing things up and need to be shut down! read more

I'd like to know if anyone has ever had a problem at the HAVERHILL POSTAL STORE? It is located inside the Post Office on Haverhill Rd, West Palm Beach, FL. The correct zipcode 33417-9998. I want to get my story out to warn others in my community. I sent a package of clothing by priority mail on Wednesday 8/28/13, but the clerk did not give me a tracking number. I was really busy that day, and I did not notice the omission until the next day. I returned to the post office the next day to ask the supervisor about the package. She laughed at me and said that even though the tracking number was "cut off" when my receipt printed, there was still a tracking number associated with the package, and it would be delivered on time, Friday 8/30/13. It was not delivered. I'm not sure how it will be delivered if there is no tracking number? After Labor Day holiday, I'm going to ask that the security footage be checked to see whether the package was lost or stolen by the postal workers. I'm in shock I did not get a tracking number and the package is currently missing. We have high standards in the USA in government and business. Let's keep them high. read more
