This post office sucks. You have the front end workers on their cellphone. I shouldn't have even come to the post office. Why do you allow your letter carriers to mark packages as delivered TWO DAYS early? Then you allow them to give me a update saying to pick it up at the post office for me to waste my time, and for the front-end post office worker to tell me that the carrier will mark it as delivered but, they didn't have time to deliver it. That dumb and it is lazy. Why are you allowing me to track a package that clearly isn't being tracked? Why are you wasting my time? And the customer service sucks. Hire more people! read more

Our carrier Heather on the Floral route is amazing! Never have any issues when she delivers. One star off because Michael the clerk at the office is rude and not helpful at all. He also refused to get a Supervisor as requested when he didn't know the answer to my questions. read more

I come here mainly to drop off mail through the drive thru postal box. When I do need to go in and mail a package, I never have to wait or a long line. I'm waited on right away. Staff friendly and attentive. I appreciate the post masters that deliver our mail the most. read more

A package that says was delivered to my mailbox was not there. I tried to call and like everyone else who's done the same, no one answers. Both myself and my neighbor have not received any mail since the middle of last week. I guess they deliver mail when they get around to it. Repeat of the message, do you want stamps ? I'm so disgusted with our system of communication and answering services. Finally when the computer recognizes that I wanted to speak to an agent after 5 min. The computer tells me my wait time will be 1 HOUR. CLICK. I'm done. My complaints will be in person. I will be driving to the post office tomorrow. 1. The mailman continues to deliver my mail to my neighbors and vs. Versa. 2. The mailman parks his van in my Handicap parking space while he delivers the mail on my street. I ask he why would you do this when there are sooooooooo many available open spaces for you to park. Stood in line at this post office for over 30 minutes this morning, and during that time only two of the twelve people in line were helped. One was mailing a package (already filled out correctly and everything), and one was picking up a package...very simple things. In my experience living in the area, you have to sign for packages, even just from USPS, or they won't deliver them. I don't mind that at all - I'd rather have to pick it up than to have it stolen off my front porch. However, if that's how it is in the area that is serviced by the Norwood post office, they need to have more than one person working there at a time...especially when the only person working there doesn't even look like she's trying to hurry, and also never apologized for anyone's wait...although, she at least seemed friendly. I don't generally complain about customer service issues, because I've worked in enough customer service/retail/food service positions to know how obnoxious it can be, but this was just ridiculous. Oh, and btw, I never got my package...I just had to leave because I was going to be late for work if I waited any longer. My last experience here wasn't terrible (20-ish minute wait for four or five people), but it was still a little much for what the people were there to do, and the customer service was still not good at all. read more

This post office is pretty much just like any other. The benefit here is that the people working there are very friendly even if it does take them a while to get to you. I definitely have not ever had the nightmarish wait that other reviewers seem to have had, but I have waited a long time for the one and only person who was working the counter. I chalked that up to budget cuts. Once I get to the counter, they are always very helpful. This is the closest location to my apartment, so I'll pretty much always go to this location unless I'm out and about. read more

A temp replacement carrier picked up a UPS labeled package from our business, costing us and our customer money. They don't respond to our calls, admit they have "holding areas" for UPS and FedEx packages they pick up by mistake, but more often than not the Norwood OH post office just doesn't answer the phone. People make mistakes, the real problem arises in how you deal with them. And Norwood P.O. has a real problem - they simply do not deal with them. We've reached out to our normal letter carrier (they keep changing so not sure what normal is). No luck, no communication, no nothing. read more

I don't feel safe mailing things here. Multiple times now I have dropped off letters in the outside mail box that you can drive up to and the recipients have told me they received my letter or card but it was opened or that they got the envelope and no card at all. I think someone who works here is opening people's mail....I don't know if they are looking for gift cards or money or what. But I will go out of my way to go to any post office other than Norwood's just so I don't have to worry about it. Be careful what you mail from here! read more

I'm pretty regular here and the people behind the counter are always super friendly. They're also very attentive (my stuff is usually pre-labeled, and they've caught a few errors that could have ended with a lost package). Have had to wait in a large line a few times, but honestly, if you're going to any post office and expecting Jimmy John's type speed, it's your first time going. I value friendly faces who will remember you over saving 2 minutes by dealing rude people any day. read more

Slow service. I only had one person in front of me and waited 15 mins. to Mail something. Then waited longer while clerks talked among each other. Never apologized for wait either. Don't go here unless you are not in a hurry since one clerk is all they have to wait on you. read more

This is the worst post office I've ever done business with. My mail is commonly damaged, lost or stole, greeting cards opened, and they don't know how to follow common USPS forms. I set up mail forwarding on June 16th to start July 1st and they started it June 16th! I've been missing paychecks and important moving documents because they can't follow directions. this might be one of the most piss poor post offices I have ever been to in my life they're very slow and very rude a lot of times they lose your packages and they can't tell you where it is I have also caught the the postal man stealing my packages got them on surveillance camera doing it I called the supervisor and told him I wanted to press charges he hung up the phone on me it would not give me the gentleman's name to file a police report so I went to copy out the item that was taken on the US Postal Service they deleted the postal code that day so I could not trace it all back just shows you what kind of people we have working in the city of Norwood a bunch of little life that steal from hard working people and it also has been posted on the news about the city of Norwood Postal Service stealing items if you think your items are safe you better think again read more

Absolutely incompetent! I am so glad I do not live in Norwood anymore. They have lost my mail, refused to deliver my mail because of stairs, lost my vacation hold and delivered my mail anyway. NOW after a month NO ONE knows where any of my mail went. Avoid this location if possible. No one knows what they are doing or they just don't care. read more

Deserves no stars regarding package delivery. When I get an email notice saying that a package WILL BE delivered to me on a certain date by 8:00pm, more times than not, I will get an email notice saying that the package WAS DELIVERED at 8:03pm or some other time around the time by which the original notification said it would be delivered. And of course nothing was delivered - I'm waiting in my LR chair which is right by the door and no one attempted to deliver anything and there is never any package in my mailbox. This has happened often because I order lots of stuff online and I cringe when the vendor says they deliver via USPS. I think the mailperson just stops working early and waits to send the 'PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED' notices on the way or at home (or at a restaurant, or...). BTW, the package(s) are usually delivered the next day as if nothing has happened. After I'm about to have a heart attack thinking that someone else has gotten my package(s)! read more
