Absolutely keep away! I had a prescription for testosterone cream that was filled by these guys, and two docs, on two separate occasions, on reviewing my blood work said: "I can't believe you are taking a prescription for testosterone - there seems to be absolutely no effect. Your results are much too low." Well, whadya know, I switched pharmacies but ordered the identical prescription, and my levels shot up to what they should be. Evidently, these guys sent me a product that had the transdermal cream that would deliver the drug into my skin, but NO DRUG. Or the "drug" they included was totally defective/inactive. Fortunately, I did correct this with no lasting harm. But if this had been critically necessary for me, I could have wound up dead! I don't know if these guys are incompetent or crooked, but I would suggest STAY AWAY. read more

The worst pharmacy ever, stay away. None of the scripts from the hospitals ever go through. None of the doctors are able to reach them. Unless you drop off a paper script, there is no hope in them receiving your Rx, no matter how urgent it is. I had the ER doctor from Memorial Regional Hospital sending the same script 5 times in one day, Post Haste Pharmacy did not get it. Even after I put the doctor on the phone with them, they still could not find it in the system. The obese looking lady with a loud and commanding voice who runs the pharmacy is a very stuck up individual who thinks she is The Doctor, and knows better than all the MDs and ER nurses combined. She refuses to give you the meds when you really need them, even if you got a valid Rx and are literally crying from pain in front of her. Get ready to be lectured by her and be put on hold constantly. She literally called my doctor and lied/falsely stated that I was "Laying on the floor, and acting all crazy", while all I did was sit on a chair in the corner and repeatedly ask her to please process the refill that they got the day before and could not find in their messed up, unorganized system. She could literally see that I was physically suffering from severe withdrawal symptoms/having a seizure but instead of helping me, she opted to straight up call and lie to my doctor on purpose, to delay the refill. So I could continue suffering and she could have the upper hand again, as always. This is pure negligence, a person like that should not work as a pharmacist. I wonder how many other clients of Post Haste Pharmacy have suffered strokes and seizures as a result of having to wait on her mercy forever. As mentioned in the beginning, their fax/electronic Rx system does not work properly so unless you bring an actual paper script from the doctor, there is no chance you will get the meds. I have run in there a few times, I can honestly say not one of my visits have been pleasurable. There will be numerous people in the pharmacy area, they don't even make eye contact with you, then wait on you when they feel like it. The woman who works at the post office in the back is another story. She seems to make her own rules up as she goes along. She will not allow you to use a credit card or a debit card if your post office purchase is less than $10. I have never heard of any other post office doing that. She's not very pleasant and appears to hate her job. Stopping here is just a last resort for me. read more

I come to Post Haste Pharmacy on and off. I really mainly come here for the Post Office. It is nice not to have to go to an actual post office location. I do like that this Pharmacy has some useful products for everyday. They have a lot of bandages and first aid over the counter goods. I've gotten a couple of prescriptions filled here and everything went fine. They had it ready on time and the medicine was in stock. Sometimes the lines get pretty long here but I think it is because they're popular. I have gotten some good advice from the pharmacist as well. They are by Sheridan Street and 46th Avenue in a strip mall shopping center. It is easy to miss so watch out for it. read more

Post Haste is not your average drugstore. Along with the post office that shares the space, it is a very old school philosophy that includes personal attention. At Post Haste, the pharmacist is more like your personal health advisor and comes out and discusses your specific needs. Sometimes this means that you will have to wait, but I've waited several eternities at CVS just to pick uo my prescriptions. Not to mention waiting llonger because the CVS pharmacist didn't get my doctor`s message and I had to wait for them to fill it.... At any rate, when you are waiting at Post Haste, the pharmacist takes as long as you need, explains everything in detail and assists you with anything you might need. High blood pressure, anemic, obese? Well this specialty drugstore has got what you need: blood pressure monitors, wheel chairs, walkers, toiletries, bathroom accessories for disabilities they have it. I came here when the CVS didn't have a blood pressure monitor. I had hypertension while I was pregnant and it was almost an emergency to have one. Definitely a necessity. The pharmacy technician helped me choose a monitor including fitting me with the right size and showed me how to use it. He also made me feel more relaxed about the situation which is important when dealing with high BP. read more

I can't say enough positive things about this place! I am literally pulling away after getting my daughter a cast boot. Not only did Jackie and I believe Christina come out and help fit her, Jackie took the time to help her walk with it on. It was 10 min to closing and she still stayed and worked with her as I'm leaving after 6:15. Dr. Fishman also helped and gave her encouragement and gave me pointers to help her. read more

This pharmacy is EXCELLENT! My mom is currently on a extensive list of medications and we fill them with this pharmacy. Not only do they fill them all on time they have a very convenient delivery service. I always have the piece of mind that my Mom has all her medication when she needs them. Save your time and go to cvs or walgreens. I would not even give them a star if I had a choice. I was told to call before I picked up my prescription. Ok, called and I was put on hold for 8-9 minutes then, hung up. So I arrived and the gentleman at the counter asked: "did you call?" I told them I was placed on hold and no one ever got back with me. I arrived at Post Haste at 9:50am to pick up my script and waited for an hour and 10 min and left at 11:00. A female employee with red hair seemed to have an attitude and she also called 3-5 other employees to come over and check videos and Facebook and whatever else she was calling them over to check out on the computer more than once. I thought this was your JOB? I was also told to step by a window to drop off 2 other previous scripts I had an allergic reaction to. No one ever opened the window after waiting 20 min so I sat down and after another 35 minutes went by I gave them to Kevin. (THANK YOU, FINALLY) By the way this place is way over priced for over the counter items. If my dr gave me the option, I would not be here. I wish it was possible to give zero stars for this business. My mom bought a nebulizer for my sick grandmother, and when my aunt (a registered nurse) attempted to use it the same night of purchase, it would not work at all. My aunt has experience working with medical equipment, so it was clear the nebulizer was broken. When my mom attempted to return it, she was greeted by an extremely unfriendly manager who took it to the back and "fixed" it by replacing a bad part. At this point my mom no longer needed it because she went out and bought a new one somewhere else, and just wanted a refund at that point. The manager became very nasty and refused to even provide a store credit. Apparently they won't accept any returns on medical devices, even if they're broken when you first open them. This place has no ethics and has no problem essentially stealing from sick elderly people. read more

I am a new mom....and like most moms I am always trying to figure out what's best for my son. He ended up having a rash on his body. I shared my concern with another mom at the YMCA and she advised me to go to Post Haste Pharmacy and talk to Deb. WOW! First of all the atmosphere at this place feels like my pharmacy up north, it feels like a hometown kinda place. When I met Deb she was so passionate about helping my baby. She recomended a product and then asked me to follow up and let her know how the baby is doing. I left the store shocked from her response, "to follow up." I went there on a Saturday to have my dogs meds refilled due to an emergency and the mad scientist pharmacist on an ego trip wanted to charge me an extra $ 35.00 just to do it in an hour. Apparently he is a "sub-contractor" that works at the pharmacy on Saturdays and has no heart like the Grinch. Probably doesn't like babies or puppies either !! Today I went to Post Haste Pharmacy, "your trusted neighborhood pharmacy for over 35 years" to get ant-acids to help relieve the nightmare of heartburn symptoms that I have been experiencing from pregnancy. Last night I learned that Maalox was not safe to take while pregnant as it contains aluminum and bismuth subsalicylate, which have adverse affects on an animal fetus. I looked at a few bottles and it was not clear to me which active ingredients were pregnancy safe so I asked the gentleman at the counter (Steve). He was very nice and helped me look though the various brands. W hen he saw that one of the "all natural" ant-acids said it was not pregnancy safe on the package he went to ask the Pharmacist for more expert advise. Steve asked the Pharmacist ( Robert (Bob) Fishman ) and Bob laughed at him. Bob said, "any ant-acid that is safe to take when you're not pregnant is safe to take when you are pregnant." Steve shared the information about how Maalox is not safe and then Robert Fishman repeated himself and said, "Any ant-acid is okay to take. Tums. Rolaids. Maalox." Robert Fishman asked Steve if I was pregnant now and Steve said that I was. What Robert said next was as far out of line as one could possibly be. Robert said "If she has a miscarriage then she should call her Doctor." Even if he thought I was not in audible reach, why would someone say something like that? I'm a big believer of everyone being entitled to their own opinions, however as a professional Pharmacist this surely violates several ethic codes and possibly even his license. I spoke to the pharmacy supervisor and he was very nice and helpful with the situation. I even got a phone call and voice mail from Fishman himself saying that he was talking to "her" about a previous patient and not referring to me. However, he was not speaking to a female (nor facing a female when he said this) and I think he may have fabricated a tale for the supervisor and myself so as to remove himself from any negative aspects of the situation. The best part was that he concluded his voice message with, "We can't recommend medicines or any ant-acids for pregnant women." Seeing as he is the director of Medication Therapy Management Inc., founder of Post Haste Pharmacy, has The Robert Fishman Institute which "trains physicians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, and scientists from all over the country", graduated from Colombia University, has a P.H.D., is a Registered Pharmacist, and C.C.N. (Certified Clinical Nutritionist) I would think that he would know that aluminum and bismuth subsalicylate are not pregnancy safe ingredients or at least recommend that I call my Doctor at least prior to having a miscarriage. read more

I can't say enough about Post Haste and there specialized compound pharmacy. I have a child with Autism and he has recently been diagnosed with seizures. Because of my son's inability to take medications by mouth, the pharmacists at Post Haste Dr. Tyler Harrold and Dr. Joseph have worked together to compound a anticonvulsant medication for him. It's hard to find a pharmacy that really listens and understands the special needs and look out side of the box to find away to provide each individual what they need to help. I also wish I could get this place zero stars... They are the worst! I called them because I needed crutches... They said they had some and the person on the phone even said we rent them but I can't talk to anybody about prices because "they're all busy". I drove there 30 minutes later only to find out... They don't have the crutches in stock and they don't even rent them!!! We didn't even ask her if they had rentals... She just offered it. All I can say is WOW!!! I called the pharmacy on Saturday 05/02/2015 and needed to have my dogs compounded epilepsy prescriptions refilled due to my dog Scruffy having uncontrolled seizures. I spoke to the Pharmacist Tyler and he said he would have the medication for me right away and I could pick in it in a few hours and not to worry. I was truly impressed when I came in after 1.5 hours to see the medication ready to go. It is extremely difficult to find a compound pharmacy that is open on Saturdays. I went to the post office today December 5th, 2016 at 5:30pm, because they close at 6:00pm. I was in line and Manager Kevin stopped to talk to me while I was in line, I worked at post haste for about a year and a half so I know the employees here. When I went to the counter to Ms. Monique and she saw I have 5 boxes to mail she let out a sigh of frustration. I asked her nicely, thinking she would recognized "do you have the stickers to write the address?", but she threw her arms up in the air, while rolling her eyes, and hit hard on the counter, then she let out a loud and sarcastic "HA!" Follow by an even louded, rude and nasty "YOU ARE KIDDING ME RIGHT?!" For what I replied very serious and firm "No. I am not kidding you do you have the stickers or not?" . I wasn't in shock by the fact that Ms. Monique didn't recognized me, but shocked that she thought I was a new customer and treated me in such a way. It didn't stopped there, by 5:36p she started talking to other people in the line the same exact way throwing her arms in the air and rolling her eyes at them. When another customer asked for a box, Ms. Monique asked yelling "WHAT FOR?!". Another gentleman that work there took care of me. Post haste have always have complaints about customer service and the reason is because of people like this working in there and that management dies not say a thing to them when they hear this happening or when they read the reviews, because I worked there I am very aware they do read the reviews. I was still bringing my business here, so I could also see and talk to my ex-coworkers. However, today was the last time they will see me in there, have my business or any of my family and friends. I don't wish bad service with actitud on nobody. I was stuck using this place because my area didn't have many options when it came to compound pharmacies. This pharmacies biggest downfall is their lack of communication. I tried hard to make this pharmacy work for me. I would call them 4-5 days before I needed my prescription filled so they would have enough time to prepare it. In the end no one was willing to except responsibility, they just kept passing the blame on each other when the orders weren't filled or ready on time. I also tried delivery that was even worse. They would tell me they would deliver it and not show up. So I would have to go the following morning and wait to pick it up. I tried telling them this treatment was unacceptable and we would just go back and forth. They treated me like I was a troublesome customer instead of doing their job. I'm 100% sure I gave them attitude the last few times I used the pharmacy. I was out of patience and I reached my limit. How many times can someone pass the buck? I didn't like feeling mad at people, when all I wanted was medicine for my sick dog. Obvioisly my sick dog wasnt a priority to them but he is a priority to me, so I found another pharmacy that is Pet friendly, appreciate's my business, is less expensive and knows how to have an order ready when they promise it. read more

This pharmacy has been great to me for quite a few years I have been able manage my diabetes with their help , The advice given to me by the pharmacist and Mr Fishman has helped keep it under control . Very rude woman at the post office counter. If yelp makes this an option in the future, I will come back and edit this review and give it -5 stars. My mother and I were there to simply mail a letter. We were at the counter, and the woman working there was assisting someone else, so we were both checking our emails on our phones, since it was the middle of both of our work days. Once the woman behind the counter was ready to service us, she motioned her hand for us to back up and literally said, "back up" multiple times with a slick smile on her face. My mother and I looked at her perplexed, as we had no clue why she was saying it. Was she telling us to leave? Well, somebody behind us in line said "you're on your phones"... I took a few steps back and saw that there is a sign that says (to paraphrase) "no talking on your phone." 1) We we're not talking on our phones. 2) if she had an issue with us using our phones, she could have clearly stated it, instead of motioning for us to leave and saying "back up" with no explanation. How were we supposed to know what she was talking about? Does she know how to communicate? Who knows! And again, if it's store policy to not talk on your phone while at the counter, okay - we weren't talking on our phones to begin with. We were emailing. When we pointed out she was being rude by motioning us away, she said "I didn't do that, just relax, you're overreacting." It seems as though this woman behind the counter has an insecurity issue when people are not paying attention to her and catches an attitude when we are not adoring her for processing our mail. Not even the official USPS store has a sign like that. I have actually spoken on the phone while at the counter at a full USPS location and no one there seem bothered by it, or said anything, or motioned their hands away, as if they wanted to refuse service to me. I wish I caught her name, so that I could add it to this review, but she doesn't even deserve the respect of me knowing her name. I hope that everyone's mail there is sent properly, as she seems to have personal vendettas and memory loss. As far as I can tell, she is a liability to the entire store! I was not at all impressed with the operation at Post Haste Pharmacy, they are not respectful of your time, Fishman is constantly late to appts ( more than an hour) ,he does not return calls promptly, he nor his staff tries to process things along smoothly. Fishman is NOT an MD and needs an MD approval for prescriptions he finally suggests. Wouldn't you think this would be something to make clear since the meds are purchased as a next step? , How about a heads up at the first appt? a mention at the 2nd? a reminder when they call to confirm appts so that you don't waste THEIR time? How about saying ...an MD must be seen to get started with meds you already waited A MONTH for test results to determine? Furthermore, he explains nothing- even when you ask directly =, Extra trips, and extra waiting because they didn't emphasize this critical tidbit. An MD appt with the one they have on site to steer you to could be suggested concurrently with any other. They've done this before,...but, as his unpleasant sect says:. Its your problem to figure it out. Fishman may be knowledgeable but it remains unclear if he really is or not. He is so long winded its difficult to get any information from him. What does becomes clear is that he likes to talk and seems to treat the appts as opportunities for a captive audience, where he mostly repeats cheesy personal stories and anecdotes. It's impossible to get him on point or to get an answer to a question directly. He needs to listen more and respond to those paying for information. He also needs better time management, it is rude and unprofessional to keep people waiting all the time, Occasionally it happens, consistently its a problem. I m moving on, it's not worth the aggravation, and from what I hear, many others have the same complaints. Read Susanne Somers book for a good overview of thow to proceed regarding bio identical hormones. Post Haste is NOT the way to go. read more

I can't say enough awesome things about Poste Haste Pharmacy.I have been going to Poste Haste for the past 18 years and I have to say they treat me like family. Its a wonderful feeling when you know your pharmacist has your best interest at heart and they show and give you the support you need with your medical needs.All the staff treat me kind and I am on a first name basis with everyone there.At this time in my life I have made the decision to take my pain management in a different direction eventually without the use of pain medication. It has been alot easier doing this knowing that I have not only the support from my Doctor, but have my Pharmacist Jonathan Phillips, Tyler Harrold and there staff by my side giving me the support I need, I can't thank them enough for everything they have done. The pharmacist Joseph has taken care of us since my husband first walked in the door! We've just moved from Lake Mary, FL to Ft. Lauderdale and I'm disabled (Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, 4 herniated cervical discs, and Lupus) and my husband is a double - transplant patient (kidney and liver) with a pacemaker. Accordingly, we both take a lot of expensive drugs but it's my pain management meds that have caused the most trouble: No one in Ft. Lauderdale would fill them! As I only get one months' worth at a time, the first month here I had to have them sent via FedEx as every pharmacy declined to fill them, even though I had a local pain management doctor! But Joseph at Post Haste, instead of just throwing my husband out, asked a bunch of questions and decided that I truly needed these meds! Since it was a job change that prompted our move, we're also having to deal with two months of Cobra, and it was taking a long time for Cobra to let our insurance company know that we'd signed - up and paid, so when my husband came back into Post Haste Pharmacy today, 15 minutes prior to closing, Joseph not only filled my pain meds that I needed desperately, but he also stayed late and took the time to transfer ALL my Rx's from Walgreen's, and then gave my husband names of specialists that we still needed to find here in Fort Lauderdale! They also do compounding and have a huge homeopathic selection and experts to answer any questions! We will never change pharmacies , at least until the next job change! Actually, one star is to great for this facility. The staff, all of them, are totally incompetent, have no regard for their customers, and the only thing they seem to know how to do is provide complete frustration. Phones are never answered properly, never transferred to the correct person, and voice-mails are never answered. How they have remained in business as long as they have is a mystery. as the previous reviewers said if i could give less than one star i would. i got here at 2pm to fill a prescription. the girl said they have the meds made and it would take 15 mins. an hour later i try to follow up and they tell me it shouldn't be taking this long and that she will follow up. another 45 mins go by and i ask again and the assistant manager basically says.. "i'm pissed too". at this point i start getting upset and tell them if they would've told me it would take two hours i wouldn't have waited especially with a hurricane coming. i hear him saying he's got a lady yelling at him. he then says another 5 minutes and i will have my meds. finally i get my medicine and hear a woman ask if i'm "calm now". i understand it is never appropriate to be rude to anyone but they are so unprofessional and have no regard for people's time here. every person that came in had the same thing to say. all this also happened while a man that worked there walked around the store in socks. and these people are the ones dispensing our meds. terrifying. read more
