I had a hard time cutting it, and the dull knife made that even more frustrating. My friend ordered the New York strip, which was softer than my ribeye, but the heavy seasoning overwhelmed its flavor. Between the seasoning and gravy, we could barely taste the steaks themselves. Based on our experience, I would not recommend either steak.

That being said, service was very good. That's the high point. The WINGS were a disappointment. They were akin to Costco's precooked wings, but these were all about presentation versus good taste. Try not petrifying the meat would be a good start. I had one of the hamburger plates. I really liked the fries. These were well prepared. The hamburger on the other hand was lacking any uniqueness or even quality beef. So if you are one of those people that believes a hamburger should be a culinary experience, this is not the dish you want to get here. Okay, I hate to be the negative Nelly, but the worst part of the upscale experience was the crescendo of noise. It crept up on you as the lunch crowd moved in. It was seriously hard to communicate at your own table. The decor offers little to no sound mitigation. Seriously, consider acoustic tiles. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Prices were fair, given our current economic conditions.

A group of us ordered the French 75, White Linen, Spokane Mule, and Elderflower Spritz (non-alcoholic). Each drink uses one of the house-made syrups which are phenomenal! We really appreciated the long list of options and that the mocktails were also creatively crafted and not just an afterthought. Our waitress was very nice and gave great suggestions for portion sizes and descriptions of any dish we asked about. We were seated outside and the live music was great. We all loved our entrees, and the desserts were delectable. Their array of mocktails was also much appreciated, as our family is a dry house but we love a good fancy drink nonetheless! Our only feedback - and this could be because they had three large parties out there with us - was that it took quite a long time to receive each round of the meal (including our beverages). We were gracious about it, but it did affect the cadence of the evening a little bit. Also, some cushions on the seats of the chairs could be helpful since upscale dining typically takes a little longer, and the all-metal chairs get a little uncomfortable after some time. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful with fine art and soft lighting, but we would definitely recommend sitting outside under the beautiful old growth maple trees and enjoying the patio during summer. Overall, we loved the experience and would totally return - their rotating menu always leaves room for new dishes try and be excited about, and the waitstaff is very professional and polite.
