I would like to preface that I went in without expecting to be blown away by a 38 dollar steak. However it just wasn't good even for a 10 dollar steak. I ordered their peppercorn sauce on the side and I'm glad I did as it was absolutely heinous and would have rendered the steak completely inedible. As it was the steak was cooked properly to the way I ordered it however I believe they were relying on the sauce for seasoning as this lacked even a hint of salt, pepper or any other seasoning on the meat. To top it off the gas flavor from the grille was quite overpowering. The ribeye was quite tough and lacked any real intramuscular fat which is expected in the price point. But would have been completely fine had the meat been seasoned even the slightest. I would try the restaurant again if ever in town however I would be staying away from the steak for sure. A group of us ordered the French 75, White Linen, Spokane Mule, and Elderflower Spritz (non-alcoholic). Each drink uses one of the house-made syrups which are phenomenal! We really appreciated the long list of options and that the mocktails were also creatively crafted and not just an afterthought. The space is open and inviting, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I feel lucky to have these guys in my neighborhood!

Our only feedback - and this could be because they had three large parties out there with us - was that it took quite a long time to receive each round of the meal (including our beverages). Also, some cushions on the seats of the chairs could be helpful since upscale dining typically takes a little longer, and the all-metal chairs get a little uncomfortable after some time. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful with fine art and soft lighting, but we would definitely recommend sitting outside under the beautiful old growth maple trees and enjoying the patio during summer.
