Up to you if you want to use a company who speaks falsely of other companies. They claim they are the best company in the valley. According to the reviews though, they are not. And BTW, this company never even did a site visit while 2 others did. "We all are scratching our heads as to how XXXXXXX could come up with the inflated production numbers they are showing you on paper. It is known in the industry that their estimates are typically higher than ours or PV2 but this is an exceptionally high estimate given the tree coverage on the property. I understand the allure to proceed with a company showing you the highest production on paper but ultimately if you have 2 other companies telling you you'd need more panels to get close to where Northeast is promising it should be a good sign that it is not our data but theirs that is off. We are sad to see a local company over promising this much to win deals. It is public data (and I am passionate on saving folks from being taken advantage of), so I will share - XXXXXXXX's business is down ~40% this year, perhaps they are desperate to win projects and are resorting to unethical tactics. Valley Solar has grown by 8% this year, one of the only solar companies in the state to grow during the past year which saw a down turnover in solar installations statewide. They came, left, came, left, brought a friend who ate lunch (parked in road), came again (did no work, smoked), left, came, left, came and on. When the work truck came the supervisor did not answer. Work crew was sent to my home, from another state with missing parts. One day - after I waited for months - they showed up, set up ladders, crawled on my roof and I was told they did NOT have converters. I ask how long it takes to get part: "It takes only 6 months, we buy from China!" the intoxicated and HIGH worker replies. You pay for their corruption out of your pocket and your time. They make a work contract, then move their goalposts - extend labor and product cost - and tell you that you need to pay for plans and parts and changes that Sunrun were supposed to provide on their end, from the start, and bring to job site. They lie, cheat and set up dates for visits that DO NOT happen. Twice on scheduled visits, nobody showed up! Mismatched panel sizes, extended the work by years. Incompetent people! Sleepy young kid 'work' crew, showed up on the wrong days in pajamas and fuzzy slippers and reeking of marijuana. The inside of their truck looked like a flea market disaster delivery vehicle: it took hours for 1 person to find a simple belt or gloves.. The kids swore, joked, were idle and one threw a glue container in my yard. Corrupt company ethics and fraud business practices! Buyer beware! Hope the DOJ investigates this crime operation. SUNRUN IS U.S. CHAOS ON STEROIDS. They ruined my life for years! Incomplete plans! Stupid employees! Cheap and junky parts made and sent from China. Horror company. Waste of money and time! Very easy to do business with. I spoke to Andrew , the mini-split manager, who organized every detail for us. Our installer was Max. Max did a fantastic job. Max is detailed oriented and meticulous in his manner of installation. Other companies wanted to install the compressor the easy way and set the compressor in a cart on the ground. I didn't want that. Max fastened my compressor to the house foundation on a stainless steel bracket off the ground. I am an auto mechanic by trade and can really appreciate the finished look of a quality installation. I would highly recommend Northeast Solar to anyone that is considering mini-splits. Bob T.

I appreciated Justin's transparency regarding the time crunch, and the generous 10% discount he offered if the work couldn't be completed in time. As it turned out, the crew had everything installed and interconnected by early November. From permitting to working with the credit union to the final switch flip, they were calm, professional, and efficient. We were well informed every step of the way, and the installation process itself was remarkably chill in terms of commotion and time. Called (another story) to request they move it. They informed me it would cost me close to $300. I replied that I didn't authorize any cable exposure in my closet. To which they informed me that I should have mentioned it during installation. Unfortunately I wasn't watching them like a hawk! Now on to the attempts to reach someone to discuss this problem whitch took many hours of waiting for call backs or hangups when answering. We did run into some unexpected delays due to a few outside factors but Earthlight Solar kept me informed the whole time. We went from having a 350-550 dollar electric bill to the panels covering 99-100% of our usage. It's pretty amazing. The company as a whole was great to work with. As I stated we did hit a few issues but a fair amount comes from being in a small town that just moves slower than we wanted. The draftsmanship of the panels / wiring and everything was top notch. Very unprofessional and again a company I would recommend steering well clear of. I'd suggest contacting C-Tech Solar as they will at least return and answer calls.
