Can't stress how great Hannah is!! I've gone to her a couple times and she does amazing every time!…read moreIf something isn't exactly how I was picturing it she is more than happy to adjust. Highly recommend :)

Bad experience and would not go back. Here is why…read more I had scheduled a time/day to get my hair cut. The stylist took 6 hours (no exaggeration) to do my hair. It got to the point where it was 10:00 p.m. and I just had to leave. I couldn't take it any more. She didn't even finish my hair all the way and she made me very uncomfortable. It wasn't until the next day that I realized just how bad my hair really was. My roots were not even touched and my hair was very uneven. To say that this was the worst haircut/dye that I have ever received, is an understatement. So naturally, I decided to go back to the salon and just ask them to fix it. I didn't make a big deal about it at all and I would have been fine just getting it fixed. Upon entering the salon the following day, I spoke with Jeff and explained my situation and how I requested to have my hair fixed. Jeff then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for another appointment...I politely explained the situation again and requested that my roots just be touched up and my uneven hair trimmed. Jeff stated he would have to speak to his supervisor (maybe, the owner?), Melissa and I would be contacted. Was I contacted? Nope. In fact multiple times I had to follow up and send multiple pictures to finally get another appointment scheduled. Luckily, when I came in and got my hair fixed, a new stylist fixed my hair and I was pleasantly relieved. It should be reiterated that no one including the supervisor, Melissa, the owner, or anyone ever contacted me to apologize including when I came back in person to get my hair fixed. In addition, I should also point out that whenever a stylist leaves the salon, the company sends out emails, and at times will explain why the stylist left. For one particular stylist, the email stated, "XXXX has left Willow Sage Salon on unfortunate terms. Her conduct has not been in line with our values, and we cannot continue working with her." In my opinion, this is unprofessional and these type of things should be kept in house. There is no need to air dirty laundry out to the public. By doing this, it doesn't reflect positively on the business and raises questions about the company and business practices. To summarize, all of this could have been easily avoided and I wouldn't have posted a review if better customer service would have been implemented. The owner or supervisor-anyone should have contacted me, apologized and resolved the problem immediately by booking another appointment. I shouldn't have had to continue to follow up multiple times etc. I will never go back. Do not recommend.

Natasha, a manager over the Southlake salon said no way could their hair dyes or bonding treatments used at store and recommended and sold to me for home use could cause this. I asked her to look at my long beautiful hair in their photos from 2025 and each time leading up to October 2026. She said Over-proteinizing can occur when the hair is coated with protein, which can make it brittle and lead to breakage. She said Bonding Time does not heavily rely on the use of protein, but did not say how much protein is in it nor how their beauticians applying it frequently to my hair and them supplying it in salon for use when blow drying our own hair and at home use on top of that can add up. Instead of saying this is possible with my hair, when I went only to their southlake tx hair color salon for over a year, and they sold me the bonding time pro products for home use and services and products used during and after each coloring at madison pro southlake tx with no warning about overuse. The last hair color there October 2026 made my hair tangle extremely and had to cut knots out. Zero elasticity in hair. Natasha said it was not possible for them to damage my hair. She literally sent me a list of chemicals in the dyes and bonding time pro and told me to ask my doctor about my fried hair and these chemicals, like a physician would know. This was not an allergic reaction so no doctor can help me. It is the duty of the Texas board certified beauticians and the owners of the salon. She said it's my duty to figure out what went wrong with my hair, even after going exclusively to Madison Reed Southlake for over a year and only using or buying their recommended hair products for home use or supplied by them to use during and after color each time. They did not offer to deep clense or deep condition my hair which is the treatment for too much protein in hair !
