I had my first ever gel manicure at Posh Nails and, unfortunately, it wasn't the best experience. I came in a bit nervous since it was new to me, and I was really hoping for some guidance along the way. However, the instructions weren't very clear, and I found it difficult to understand what was happening and what I needed to do throughout the process. I did say it was my first time and apologized a few times for not understanding. I overall felt like a nuisance. As a first-timer, I think a little more explanation and attentiveness would have made a big difference. The woman who did my nails did help me pick a color- very literally the perfect pinky translucent nude for my skin- which I'm sure comes from experience, but I would have liked more communication. The salon itself is nice, but overall the experience had me anxious and left me feeling like I should have just stayed home. read more

I booked two ClassPass reservations here for a gel pedicure and gel manicure. Within less than 24 hours, one of my nails needed to be repaired -- ahead of an event I had at 1:00pm. I came in at 11:20am to get it fixed. Not one technician got up to look at my nail, offered an apology, or showed any concern. I was immediately told to come back at 1:00pm -- the exact time my event started. I called again on my way home to ask if I could come in, and was told they only had two techs and it wouldn't work. I had no choice but to go elsewhere and pay to have my nail fixed at another salon. Two hours after that second call, they reached out asking if I could come in at 6:15pm. That is entirely too little, too late. To make matters worse, while I was being turned away, technicians were servicing another client -- doing a full manicure and pedicure simultaneously -- and could not spare 5 minutes for ONE nail on a customer who had just paid for services the day before. I was made to feel like a complete inconvenience. No apology, no empathy, not even a glance at my nail. Despite paying via ClassPass points, I also left a $20 tip, all I expected was my nail to be quickly fixed. I never asked for a refund. I asked for my ONE nail to be fixed. I want to be transparent that before posting this review, I made two separate attempts to resolve this matter directly with the salon. Both times I was dismissed. I gave them every opportunity to make it right and was met with indifference each time. This review is a last resort, not a first reaction. To anyone considering booking here -- if something goes wrong within 24 hours or at anytime, do not expect to be prioritized or treated with basic courtesy. You will be made to feel like you are inconveniencing them. I would look elsewhere. read more

The quality of nails I got them done a week ago.. gel last two weeks. The nail attendant kept hurting me with the tool to take off my polish, several times.... Nails chipped within 5 days You can keep the tip but I want my 150 back. Bad quality they didn't even file them right Update I called and offered for them to keep the tip. I am from the east coast & there's no way of returning there. It was the most unpleasant service and they refuse to issue a refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! They are rude, unprofessional & expect you to pay for garbage service. The people who answered the phones were rude too; terrible service money grubbing people with zero care of wrong doing or customer care. You will regret your visit like I did. I came here for the first time on Tuesday for a dazzle dry manicure since the nail salon I usually go to is closed on Tuesdays. They charge $33 for a dazzle dry manicure, which is about how much it is at other places in LA. The dazzle dry nail polish seemed thick when my nail tech was applying the polish, and I didn't like the nail tech. She took 1 hour to do my nails, made my nails so short, and didn't seem to speak English. It's also a very small salon, and it is in a small shopping center with limited parking. Super rushed job, the lady who did my nails (didn't get her name) didn't even bother cleaning out around my nails. Did two SLOPPY polish strokes to each nail & had me on my way. Not to mention the botched, ugly job she did to my ring fingers when compared to the picture she was to reference. I have been to Posh Nails twice now, and it is now my nail salon of choice. The employees are very friendly and I really like that they have uniforms- this looks so professional. The nail salon is small, but very nicely decorated. Parking is limited, but free ( a rarity in Los Angeles). The first time I visited, they gave me a coupon for 25% off on my next service, which I have already cashed in on my 2nd visit. This salon uses disposable covers for the foot bowl- a MUST to me to prevent cross infection. The Spa Recliners are super comfortable too. What really makes this salon stand out are the workers. They are respectful and genuinely friendly. They take their time and do a great job on manicures amd pedicures too. read more

Ugh, I would love to give this place a good rating, but I just can't. The quality of the gel manicure is atrocious. After two days, multiple nails are chipped, the feel and look of the nails are bumpy. I pay a lot of money to get this manicure to stay for more than a week, but these didn't even last 48 hours. Posh Nails looks pretty unassuming but they have done a 10/10 job on every gel mani and pedi I've gotten there (~5 times). They really get at your cuticles making your nails look longer, and the gel manicures last a good few weeks without chipping. They also show you what the nail color will look like on one nail without painting them all, in case you decide to switch colors. They're efficient (takes less than an hour) and the price is reasonable. ($70 for gel mani + regular pedi + eyebrow waxing). I've tried a few other places and they never look as good or last as long. Posh Nails knows what they're doing! read more

I was a walk in this evening for a pedicure and asked if there was time to perform the service. I work in the service industry so I'm well aware if they do not have time ... and have to be away. The young lady said there was and took me to a station to Clean and prep. A woman walked in and said she called .. my specialist then went to accommodate her. She ask me to then wait 10min... Today is actually my birthday and have things lined up for the evening. 10-20 service I'm down for... but after waiting 20min and still not even started. I wiped my feet, put my shoes on and left. Saying thank you anyways. I understand I was a walk in and they might have not had time.. but to have a person wait 20min... I'm not down.. I'm unfortunately turned off from this place. ladies here are so nice! they currently have a great happy hour special with mani&pedi $25 between 10am-1pm. but I opted for a "dazzle dry" (non toxic, not tested on animals, quick dry) mani making its $5 more. parking lot can be tough since it's shared with the laundromat & other shops, but there's also street parking. also still love supporting these kind of nail salons. read more
