I have one difficult, thick nail that some places refuse to cut. They did not mention it here at all on both occasions that I went, they just cut it. On this occasion, I asked the male manicurist not to cut the cuticles, but to just push them back.. He did not listen to me and continued to cut the cuticles. He drew blood three times on my toes. Since I am on blood thinners, the bleeding did not stop immediately, but took swiping and cleaning several times. I did not carry on or repeat my requirements, but I do have autoimmune diseases, and I am hyper vigilant about not wanting to get infections. Also, on the manicure, there was no rubbing lotion or anything on my hands or arms, all he really did was put the polish on. I asked that he did not cut my nails, as I had already done that, and he did follow my request of not cutting the cuticles. I like this salon because there is not a heavy odor of acrylics and polish. They do use good-quality and sanitary products. I will continue to go to the salon, and make my requirements more thorough, and insist that "no cutting the cuticles" be adhered to. The pedicure is very relaxing, but be prepared for it to take a long time. The entire processes of a Manicure, Pedicure took two hours. It was the same in time for the friend who accompanied me..

The nail technician did a pedicure that I probably could have done myself. Then comes the Polish, it was horrible. It was running and he asked me if it was okay. Um, no. Meanwhile, while I was supposed to be enjoying my pedicure, the nail technician that did my nails was horrible. I had to tell her to be gentle. She had my hands stretched out on both sides of the pedicure chair. Then when she painted my nails, she sat a pillow and gel dry machine IN MY LAP. She was definitely not socially distant during this either. It was so uncomfortable! I had to ask to readjust the chair because that was also not taken into consideration. $80. I would have paid $80 for the SNS and gel pedicure and I still paid $80 for a GEL manicure and gel pedicure. Very interesting. I will never return and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. Once I arrived I was greeted, when I told the lady at the front it was my first time there she showed me the check-in process which was a simple phone number check-in. The woman who did my pedicure sat me down right away. I got their jelly pedicure. I'm not a talker when I get pedicures so I appreciate the quiet comfortable atmosphere of the woman who did my toes. She clipped my toes to a perfect length scrubbed and massaged them my feet feel like heaven now compared to how they were left from the last shop (less than two weeks from my last appointment). I am thinking I am an idiot for letting this nail technician continue and didn't pull away. This woman cut my cuticles deeply and then proceeded with her nails to dig and peel dry skin off me. I have never had such a painful nail experience. To top it off, I asked for SNS milky (off shiny white). What i got was a muted purple. They have also raised their price. All this cost me 50.00 plus tip. My conclusion is, I need a backbone and will pull my hands back if I don't like what is happening. Darn it and ouchie.
