I never write reviews so if I'm doing this, it's clearly for a reason. I would advise absolutely everyone to not go to posh dental. They seem to care more about money and billing insurance than quality care. I was in a really difficult position due to my insurance and not being covered within the next month. I went in for wisdom teeth removal, consult. She told me I need them removed, which was correct. (Later confirmed by multiple surgeons). She also told me I had four cavities, which I don't think were correct. However, I went through with getting them drilled and filled because again I wasn't going to have Insurance come a few weeks and places I called that took my insurance were booked until the following year. She booked me for two separate occasions however I pushed to get them filled all at once, which ended up being completely fine. She was also aggressive in treatment and offered nearly 5 additional treatments within the first five minutes of the original appointment. On top of that I booked my dad for a first time appointment and she told him he needs veneers... He absolutely does not need veneers. She also offered nearly 5 additional treatments all of which were absolutely unnecessary. We will not be going back and I highly recommend other others to seek help elsewhere. read more

It's taking me a lot to finally write this review, And I advise absolutely no one to go to posh dental. They clearly pay people to write reviews Because nobody has had an actual positive experience there. I went in for a cleaning and she pushed me to get veneers, I needed fillings and instead of doing the fillings, she processed my teeth for veneers, She was telling me I needed it when all I needed was one tooth fixed. All they care about is money. I have the veneers done and all I had was pure infection in my gums because she had no idea what she was doing. Told me she was shaving my teeth down a little bit ended up looking crazy. And when she put the veneers on, she puts so much cement and told me not to floss my teeth. I had a horrible infection that she refused to fix. She told me "that's your problem" And proceeded to lie to my insurance when I contacted them about the situation. She pretended she didn't know who I was. Overcharged me for cleaning. Office was dirty and disgusting. And they just push you to write a positive review for them every single time you're in their office. Within two years, I have already broke three veneers and not because of food consumption they were just cheap. Najla Najeeb is the worst dentist I've ever been to. During my first visit, she claimed I had cavities in all my teeth and some infection. After doing cleaning and X-rays, she scheduled me for fillings. But in my next visit, she drilled my teeth on the right side and did fillings, then scheduled another appointment for the left side, saying she couldn't do all at once. I felt no pain and doubted her diagnosis. A second opinion confirmed she misdiagnosed stains as cavities. Najla doesn't know the difference between cavities and stains, and seems more interested in insurance money than patient care. She unnecessarily drilled my teeth, making things worse. I went here after I moved. They also gave my mother a cleaning and made here very uncomfortable, and hurt her mouth. They told me I needed a ROOT CANAL... none of my teeth hurt and they said they were going to check if insurance would go through. It did and I canceled the appointment. I went back to my old dentist (drive 40 mins there and back) yesterday after 6 months and they took my x-rays. I don't need a root canal. I went to this dentist because I moved and I never wanted to even move from my dentist because i enjoyed going to them. But these people really made me hate going to the dentist. The first time I went ALONE for the first time was when I was 17. They told me while they were taking my x-rays that if I wanted teeth whitening I asked the price and they said $100. I said no I was alone and my insurance didn't cover it. They took only 5 minutes to do my cleaning and then the dentist asked if I wanted to do the whitening because my teeth were really yellow?? really?? you prey on a 17 year old girl because you knew you could make them insecure. Too bad I held my ground. Anyways from then on I didn't trust them. Next time I went BEFORE they even done anything they told me to write them a review on google? And again took 5 minutes to do a cleaning after I haven't gone in a year and then told me I had cavities and that they're going to make me an appointment so I asked for x-rays and they were hesitant and I didn't see any physical cavities and didn't feel pain at all or sensitivity. But I see that they literally left plaque and I still saw nastiness on my teeth. After 2 years of not going because I hated going so much there, Earlier this year they took just a little longer like 7 minutes to clean my teeth. Then they claimed my teeth were crooked and were going to fall out because of all the cavities that I had. They wanted to set up an appointment that was my last straw I went to a new doctor. One of the worst dental cleaning I have ever had. Did not properly clean and was in a rush to be done. If you had somewhere to be: 1. You shouldn't have scheduled the appointment at that time 2. You shouldn't be a dentist. I have never had a cleaning before where the dentist did not use toothpaste or mouthwash. The deep cleaning took all of 5 minutes. I have insurance and she was desperate for us to pay the $1500 upfront , cash or credit card. She gave us antibiotic, and told us to go to hospital to get the tooth removed. This dentist deserves ZERO STARS, I came here because it was closer to my house and I was tired of driving 45 minutes to my other dentist and it was the absolute worst! I was told I needed 4 root canals, take out all my wisdom teeth, and needed to pay $50 extra if I want a white tooth filling all while I have no pain. I come the next appointment and she's telling another patient that she could pay $30 for the white tooth filling. It makes no sense why does everyone get a different price. I went to this dentist and they told me I had 6 cavities. I got two filled (with metal b/c they said porcelain would cost $150 a tooth with my insurance, which is not true at any other dentist I have been to) and they made me pay while sitting in the examining chair, before they even did the filing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! INSANE! Then, I didn't want to pay $150 for porcelain cavities (b/c i'e never paid that before) and I went to a different dentist who told me he didn't see ANY cavities! I got there for the filling and the dentist told me if I felt pain to raise my hand, she refused to give me Novocain for the procedure at first, stating to much of it was no good for me and most people didn't need for my size filling....... after not being able to take the pain I Insisted on getting Novocain and finally was given what seemed to be the bare min. a Few days later I was flossing and my filling came out!!! . when I went back in she filled the tooth again And advised me that that happens... a few weeks later I'm in pain from the same tooth, SO I decided to visit another dentist who advised me there was a gap in the filling underneath and food was getting in that gap. this is the worst medical experience I've had in my entire life. please for your own safety go to a professional not this place. read more

So let me start by saying i saw Dr. Najieb but didn't actually get any dental work done with her. However, after reading her reviews I felt compelled to comment on my experience. I had an issue with a previous dentist and I needed to see someone new to get a dental procedure approved by my insurance, which was ending in January. So unfortunately, I didn't see all the reviews for her until I was sitting in her office. As far as the receptionist and staff I dealt with, I had no issues. The young girl at the front was actually very helpful the day I was there and the previous number of times I called with my insurance issues. The other young guy behind the counter and another woman I talked to briefly when I was in the dental chair were all very friendly and nice. As for Dr. Najeeb, it is totally true what they say that she tries to upsell you for unnecessary procedures. She barely looked in my mouth without even a dental tool and started saying I needed crowns. Literally no other dentist in my life has ever said I needed crowns! Anyway, no dental work because that's another long story but as far as my experience in her office the staff was nice and she does try to sell you stuff you don't need. read more

After she called the insurance in office, I was told I actually need more than 5. She refused to explain X-ray details as well as which teeth needed crowns. My parents and I received the services from her several weeks ago and I considered it as my huge mistake. During the appointments, she was very rude and unprofessional. Her communication was very inappropriate. She made lower dentures for my mother that were very loose and kept coming out. My mother cannot eat, swallow and drink while she has them on. She expressed her concerns several times to Dr. Najeeb but rather than addressing the issue she yells and argues with my mom. My mother got very frustrated with her attitude and eventually decided to return the denture as per Dr. Najeeb's advice. The denture has been returned more than a month ago to her clinic, but she never returned it back to the insurance company. Dr. Najeeb has already received payment from my mom's dental insurance, therefore, she needs to return the denture back and release it to the insurance company, which never happened. Now my mother can't go to another dental office for the same services. We contacted her office several times and requested completion of the process, but the office staff is not being cooperative. Health insurance tried as well but Dr. Najeeb and her staff didn't cooperate. My mother is stressed because she can't eat regular food for the past six months. In addition, she has submitted a false claim to the insurance company for my father's dental cleaning that she had never provided to him. I strongly discouraged everyone to seek dental services from her. I have mentioned her NPI # so anyone who has similar experience please file a complaint to the appropriate authorities. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but I feel as if I have to warn people. This woman has no business practicing dentistry. I caught her stealing money from me and she created a web of lies when confronted. I want to be clear, not stealing or insurance fraud, but stealing out of my pocket. I lost my lower Invisalign retainer, she said regardless of whether you order just one or both, top and bottom, price is still 500, Invisalign policy. I said If that's the case order both. Only the bottom came in and she had this absurd response, since I've lost it so many times, the company won't make it anymore. She actually said that. When I called Invisalign they confirmed that is in fact a lie. When I confronted her she boldly told Me "I have the right to drop a patient I don't need this". I told her I want to see the order form showing she ordered BOTH top and bottom. Then she printed a order receipt that was from the year before, and said "look here I ordered both." I noticed the wrong year. Then she said she can't find it, then she printed out my 3'year billing history, which serves no purpose, I said I want the order form from this exact date. Then she found it but she said it won't open. She finally printed it and there it was, a 500 dollar charge for just the lower retainer. It gets better. A few months before i went for a slightly shipped tooth, needed a bonding. She recommended total bonding of all the teeth and said "want me to get started?" I asked how much, she said only 7,000. Was literally about to start without going over price "No just the one tooth" I said , she charged 1,000. Three days later it fell off and I called her. "I'm sorry you got the cheap stuff, I told you to get the good quality I will not fix it unless you get the good one." After going back and forth for a week she said okay Come on in, I'll fix it. Arrive and I tell her bonding fell off when I was flossing, she states "no that must have been tartar that flew off it's fine," as I'm looking at a chipped tooth. Would not fix it. She has lost a customer for life. This woman has broken the trust of her patients, going in for medical care and being taken for a financial scam. Came here last week. It's one of the nicest private practices I've seen in Long Island. The dentist is very caring and looks into every detail. I can tell how new the equipment is and I love how everything is digital. The paperwork is on an iPad and everything shows up on the computer screen. I had a chip in my tooth and she fixed it and showed me a before and after. I like that she cares about aesthetics. She took out the time to go over the xrays with me and explain them inside out. Whitening was quick and inexpensive, I had great results. Most options were covered by my insurance and if not I was warned beforehand. I've started my Invisalign treatment here and cannot be happier! read more

Excellent place I go for my Dental care. I have been coming here for about 3years now and I have no complaints. The staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Moreover, the office is very organized and they are always ready for me at my exact appointment time. I can easily plan my day before and after my appointments. The office always sends me reminders for my appts and are very accommodating if I have to cancel for any reason. Most importantly, this office DOESN"T have appt cancellation fees. Only one star because I was very impressed with the service and reminder/alerts I received first time but this time I took my daughter for her regular check up and waited for 1hr 15min and then I asked receptionist the status so she called her in right away and started setting her up for doctor to check. I was fine till then but after that we waited another 30-40min and still doctor didnt show up so I started looking outside and found that they took 3 patients who came after us and then I got so angry and had to leave without my daighter checked. This is my first review on Yelp - because that's how bad this place is. Don't go here. I went last year and she said I needed a root canal. She actually put in a request with my insurance which was, thank God, denied. Then she tried to milk me for 850$ for the root canal out of pocket!!! She got two caps and a bridge on me and now that i think about it, I doubt I even needed them and after reading another review (see below) insurance must have denied because she charged me out of pocket! A filling she put in last year fell out around the time of my annual checkup. She made me make a second appointment where she just slapped some of that goopy green stuff on my tooth and sent me on my way ... So, three days later the filling fell out AGAIN! (I have fillings in my mouth from 30 years ago that are still there!) She tried to get an out of pocket root canal out of me - for 850$ - again! I told her don't worry about it. I'm getting it done somewhere else. She started saying, well, they might have to extract it. let me give you a referral for that (she was trying to scare me into getting the procedure done there.) I finally went to a real dentist. He first *examined* the possible root canal situation (and told me if needed the root canal would be 600$) and just gave me a regular filling - AND he filled in the one that kept falling. This place is an absolute JOKE of a dentist office. The dentist told me I had over 10 cavities, and when I went for fillings she used NO local anesthesia at all.. just began drilling deep into my teeth. The pain was excruciating and I was nearly jumping out of the chair. It felt like pure torture. I felt like crying out of pain as she drilled further and further close to my nerve endings. The tools looked used and unsanitary. The assistant was wearing the same gloves to type on the computer and then TOUCH the "cleaned" tools that would be used on my teeth. Completely unsterile technique. She also bumped into the water pick which sprayed across the room and onto my pants. Then afterwards, the fillings felt sharp as if they could cut my tongue. The dentist said only SOME of my cavities could be filled, the others would need a crown (which is her scam tactic to get more money). She said, "Your insurance doesn't cover that, so let me know when you want to pay - it will be $1K per tooth." I then returned for a cleaning which was a 1 minute joke of a treatment. I sat in the chair, and the dentist said she could only do the top row ... the bottom row would need to be done during a future second appointment (again in attempts to charge my insurance twice & make more $). Then, the dentist began using a sharp hook tool to scrape and entirely cut up my gums. I was bleeding like crazy and NO fluoride was used, I was not even provided mouthwash, they had me rinse away the blood with WATER! My mouth was sore for days afterwards and I will never return! My husband and I have a one o'clock appointment on a Saturday. We arrived there a minutes after the hour And we waited one hour to be called into the exam room.
