Today (2020-01-29) they cost $80 (limit 1 box per person). The 3M brand costs $12 each (normally $6 each). The staff seem very nice and honest. They explained that their suppliers keep raising prices so they have to raise prices. They said there will be no more available tomorrow onward! I also bought a pack of 5 without valve for $20. They also ran out of hand sanitizer so they had to hunt for them today. They only have 20 left. A 118mL bottle cost $5 each which isn't inflated.

When we asked an associate for help, he came by and recommended a brand that he says he uses to hang up his wine collection. Time will tell if these screws can truly hold up 55 lbs. I was really happy with the service and the selection. I'll likely be seeing a lot more of this store in the near future as we get settled into our new house.

I went in to this store to buy a specific Stihl chainsaw, and waited until the guy who handled the…read moreStihl products was free. I mentioned a promotion that was on the store's website. He immediately said that the promotion had expired (it hadn't - he just wasn't up to speed with the promotions) and that what is on the website is not their problem, and I was free to contact Stihl if I had an issue. He wouldn't even look at the website page that I had on my phone that clearly showed it was an active promotion. I walked out feeling quite ticked off. The following week I went to a different Stihl dealer (Alpine Lawn and Garden on Kennedy) and they were very helpful - bought the saw, got the promotion, walked out super happy. So my advice is that if you are looking to buy a Stihl product, give Imperial a miss, and try somewhere else like Alpine. Each Stihl dealer is an independent, and they are not all the same.

The representatives were completely unhelpful when it came to finding the part I needed. Worse yet, they were extremely rude and went as far as to humiliate me in front of other customers. Linen Chest overall is a wonderful store but my first experience going into this location (5800…read moreMcLaughlin Rd) was not. I was turned off by two encounters with two different employees. First was the cashier who for some reason needed to reconfirm EVERYTHING with me that was right in front of her on the receipt, several times! I didn't give her anything complicated and believe every cashier should understand how to read the time, date and item number on in a receipt. I wanted to return a single item that was purchased at different location just half hour prior and it was as though she didn't believe me or didn't understand, all the while starring at the receipt! Second employee could've cared less to take accountability over misplaced and mismarked items that I brought to her attention. Her dismissive response "yeah, yeah everything has a label so..." rubbed me wrong way! If the item were at all visible and not buried under other products I would've gladly gotten it myself and not ask her to help me dig for it. It's a real shame these two represent a company such as this.

If you need a…read moreHome Depot in East York or western Scarborough, I definitely recommend this store over the Ellesmere & Wicksteed locations. I can't comment on every single department or any of their installation services, but just in terms of the retail store - staff helpfulness & friendliness, in-stock levels, fairly clear & well maintained aisles, well chosen skid drop locations - they just seem to do a better job. Most recently I bought an Air Conditioner here and some weather stripping & insulation products. Noticed how the bulky HVAC products were all displayed in the spacious front part of the store for easy access by dolly or hand-truck and short run to the checkout & parking lot (whereas at Wicksteed they're split up with some AC's in the middle section where you'd have to bring them through aisles...). It helps that there often seems to be less of a crowd here. But I suspect part of that is due to customers being helped more promptly and competently both on the sales floor and at checkout.

Bought a Napoleon Prestige BBQ at this store August 16, 2023. We like to buy Canadian if we can…read moreand we know Napoleon is a good product. The store even put it together for us which was great. This BBQ works great, it is at our cottage, and it has not been used that much. When we went to change our propane tank in July 2025, we noticed the doors that open there are lined with a hard plastic. This plastic is all melting. None of our other BBQ's had plastic inside these doors. We did not notice it as we had not needed to change our propane tank. We reached out to the store and they said that since it is past a year, we need to contact Napoleon - which we did try to do. Spent over an hour on two tries to get through to customer service. Then tried on line with no response. My husband called the Aurora store and spoke with the BBQ person - they then submitted our claim. That was August 6 - no word back yet. Not very happy. We thought shopping at a local Canadian store and buying a Canadian BBQ would be the best. But not happy. I have some good pictures of the melting doors if anyone wants to see them. We would like metal doors for this BBQ. We have been looking at BBQ's now when we are out and they all have metal doors - just like our old BBQ's.
