The previous owners was a very cute couple who were nothing but kind & genuine. Today, different story. I get the same thing every time I go, a gel french pedicure. Because of new management I asked for the price while my feet were soaking in the water, they conversed in their language for 5 minutes and initially told me $90 (previously paid $60 with previous owners) and I said no way and they discussed again and said $75... I still didnt understand how it added up to be $75 and questioned the pricing on the board behind the register and the woman made something up and insisted the price was $75. I paid in cash, on the counter it said 3% discount if paid in cash, I questioned why I didnt get a discount and the woman continued to insist $75. Its not about the price. Its about the PRINCIPLE of being upfront with your customers and having the price board match what you say. I will not be returning. Had a 4:30 appointment and did not leave until 6:15pm for a regular gel french pedicure with acrylic on my big toes (did not include tip at all just put powder on my toes). I will be changing salons due to the lack of transparency and explanation. Upset because I know the previous owners would never have done this to me. Two stars solely for the cleanliness of the salon and distance away from home.

I walked in and had to wait about 10 minutes and she told me to pick a color. I asked if I could pick any of the colors out of the basket and she said yes. I selected a color and when she was ready for me, she then proceeded to tell me that they only had a few colors in dip so I had to change my color, even though she said that I could choose from all of the colors in the bin. She then proceeded to buff off all of my old dip polish that was on my nails. She did not soak them off like you'd normally have happen when you're getting old dip removed. She buzzed my nails so much that they hurt now and my nail beds are bright red. I chose to give her the benefit of the doubt and allowed her to proceed, but then I asked her if she was going to remove the remainder of the old dip polish and she said no. I had to request that she soak off the rest of the dip polish off as I didn't want it left on before she put a new powder on, so she had to back track to do that. After she did, she finally started to do the dip an hour after I had arrived. Once she was finished the coats, she started to buff them one last time before putting the topcoat on. When she did, all of the dip that she had put on came off as you will see in the photo of my pointer finger. I told her that I did not want her to continue and she stated that she would fix them, but this was already the second thing that she had to fix, and I did not feel comfortable with her continuing. As you can see from the pictures, all of the nails were messed up and I was not going to have her finish as I had already been there for over an hour, and she was going to have to redo everything... I didn't have the confidence that she would correct them anyway. It seems as though she doesn't know how to do dip powder and there was no one else there who could assist. I would not recommend Hollywood nails in Chalfont.

I'm new to the area so need somewhere new to do these things. I was greeted warmly and professionally and the place looked nice. Was able to see Erica for my wax but could not wait for my nails. I was just a walk in so that is expected. My brows look nice and Erica was a doll. Average price for eyebrow wax. They suggested I go next door for my nails as they said they go there when their manicurist is busy. I'm in the business myself so I thought it a little weird that they would recommend I go somewhere else but I went and I wasn't disappointed there either. I have my favorite place for my hair but will definitely go back for other services.

I wanted a "regular" pedicure ($30) so I picked my color (lots of OLD OPI polishes) and waited. In about 5-7 minutes I was directed to wait in one of the 10 pedicure chairs in the back. (There was 1 lady getting a pedi and the 3 other techs were doing manis). I sat (no water in the bowl yet) and waited. And waited And waited. After 18 minutes I left and said I would "be back another day" when I could make an appointment. Now after reading other reviews like this, I will NOT be back. They do not value a client's time. They should have told me to come back in 30 minutes or something. If I had not gotten up and (tried to be polite) left I would have waited for Lord knows how much more. Not doing this again.
