I had a strange visit here today, at no fault of the employees. Halfway through my pedicure, I received an urgent call, and had to rush out after it was complete. I was so upset, and had been planning a couple hours this morning to myself for a few weeks. The woman at the front desk was so kind, and asked if I was okay. I said I was and I was sorry. She said "as long as you're okay, it's no problem." I had scheduled a gel manicure as well, so once I felt everything was under control, I called and asked to finish up my manicure. I was determined to stick to my plan to be just a little selfish after many months of not being able to be. I drove back and got another call, and had to leave. It turns out, I cannot squeeze these things in during the day. As I was walking out, one of the male employees followed me to say they would be ready very shortly for my manicure. I was grateful that he did that, but had to decline again, due to an urgent issue. He was so polite and professional about it, and said to come back whenever I could fit it in. Really, truly kind people. And my pedicure looks great. Even though I'm embarrassed at this point at my own flakiness, I'll be back later today to finish up my manicure. I'd rather face the embarrassment and give them my business. I highly recommend. read more

I do think Nail Define provides good service. Unfortunately, literally EVERY single time I've gone, they quite vocally prompt for tips -- and I'm not just talking about for the nail tech, but for the person who spends two minutes with you doing your eyebrow wax. I typically don't tip these people; honestly, I don't think it's necessary. So despite the fact that I'm already leaving a great tip for my nail tech, they will literally stop me as I'm headed for the door (!!) and inquire about a tip for the wax specialist. I've never in my life encountered anything so strange. I actually confronted them about this and told them they really ought to let people tip how they want. Super unprofessional. read more

We've gone to this salon a few times and the service is decent, however the "upselling" is pretty relentless. I get my nails done regularly and know what I want. Once I tell the technician I don't need to be encouraged multiple time to select the more expensive spa pedicure. Today the person checking me out demanded more of a tip. I have never experienced that. Ever. And I tip the same amount at every nail salon. We won't be going back to Nail Define. read more

I am disappointed with my pedicure experience with William. I had specific requests for cutting and filing due to ingrown toenails and they were either ignored or misunderstood. He did not touch my cuticles, barely filed my heels (which are obviously scratchy), and rushed through painting. Quickest pedicure I've ever had. unfortunately, despite the convenience of the location and the decent prices, this place is terrible. I made an appointment at least a month in advance because it is hard to get appointments in the spring and summer. I was very aware, despite the fact that they do not send text reminders or or anything helpful to let you to remind you of the date and time of appointment that I needed to be there in a timely manner because I didn't want to make anyone else wait. And when I walked in, one of the l employees told me thr technician who you booked came back from China last night and will not be in for two days. And I said well I was out and I was very busy this morning and I rushed here. Why didn't you call . And he basically said this isn't his problem and she would be here Monday. But the reason I can afford to come to a place like this is that I have a job and I'm at it on Mondays. I'm usually the only guy in the place. The staff makes me feel very welcomed. Lisa has been my mani/pedi manicurist several times. She's wonderful. The place is clean, busy and the staff is very accommodating. While you're having the manicure, they offer a 10 minute massage that is great. Take advantage of it. Would love to give a 3 1/2 stars. This place was nice but was a little expensive for what I got. I got a dip manicure, no tips , and it was $50. The manicurist didn't trim my cuticles or do any real nail maintenance. The colors came out great and I got a nice French tip design. They were fast and had many appointments coming in and out. I did appreciate that their prices were located right at the desk and that they didn't overcharge or charge you more for credit cards. It's been 5 days and one of my nails has already chipped so not super long lasting as it should be . This is the second time I've been here and the second time I've had issues with their nail polish even though it's OPI. They must refill it with something else. I would consider myself a regular/loyal customer for the past 3 years, but unfortunately, my recent visit fell short in service, quality & overall vibe. It is still hard to believe that the male nail technician was impatient & dismissive, making what should have been a relaxing visit very uncomfortable from the start. What made this experience even more disappointing was being told who I needed to tip - something I have never encountered here (or anywhere in my lifetime) before. I have always believed tipping is a reflection of appreciation for good service - kindness, and professionalism - none of which I felt I received during this visit. While I did tip the person(s) who did the pedicure, the other person that did the manicure and the other person that rubbed my neck (which I did not want), they made me feel like tipping was an obligation rather than a gesture of genuine appreciation. I got these stiletto black and white French tips with a little nail design about 3 days ago. The shape is exactly what I wanted and I modeled the look after a picture I saw on their Instagram. I had Jimmy, who was very accommodating and nice. The only problem I have is that they didn't push back my cuticles before applying the poly gel. So now, it looks like these nails are like a week old with growth. Right after leaving the salon, I could still see my "white crescent moons". I love them, but I paid $80. I want them to last for at least 2 weeks and not look already grown out. Also, it must have been the nude base color, But on all the nails you can see horizontal etching from the nail drill. This last time, today, they charged me $118 for the service. Every other time before this I haven't been charged more than 85. When I brought it to their attention they argued with me that something was wrong and they must have forgotten to charge me all the other times I've been here. I insisted that I was sure that was not possible, I could understand one time miss charging me but not all the other handfuls of times. Definitely will have to find somewhere else to go which is a shame because they are conveniently located near my house. Today was my first time at Nail Define and I will be back. I went with a friend, and we had 10:30 appts. We waited about 20 minutes as all technicians were busy with other customers. Jimmy did my Cucumber spa pedi and it was so relaxing. It wasn't rushed at all. My gel mani also wasn't rushed and I'm pleased with the results. Was not asked to wash hands before starting which is red flag number (any good nail salon understands the importance of having customers washing hands before starting service). Nails came out very translucent, did not look exactly like what I asked for, and polish on surrounding skin. Just had a not so great experience. Came in without an appointment which is my fault but requested a gel manicure and a pedicure. I wait 25 minutes to be brought back. I told the woman my two colors and she acknowledged both services. Sat down for pedicure and she quickly took another woman that walked in and left me with another tech that did my pedicure. This was the quickest pedicure I have ever had, no massage or anything. Once done he ushers me to the drying station and quick to grab the customer walking in.
