From my perspective, Queen's is a butcher shop first, a beer shop second, a wine store third, and a…read morelocal food shop fourth. That's not to say any of these is deficient, but it does reflect the level of selection. I've spent most of my time here browsing the beer selection. Her beer selection is quite simply unmatched in Prattville for selection and quality. I've even seen things here that I don't recall seeing at Filet and Vine, and they supposedly have the biggest selection in the area. But for Prattville, this is your best bet to find good beer, a lot from the local area, some from the extended local area (Georgia, Tennessee, etc), and even some good imports (Duvel, Hofbrau). Most impressively, The Queen is willing to accommodate requests. Alabama being what it is (flawed but improving), one is still not able to legally purchase alcohol via the internet and have it shipped into the state. So, you're stuck with whatever the local stores stock. Seeing Queen's well-curated beer selection, I asked whether she could acquire a couple specific beers for me. She was very responsive, and near-immediately checked with her suppliers to see what she could get. Nothing in hand yet, but he fast response and willingness is awesome! The wine selection is also unique, and I get the sense Queen stocks things she likes. The selection is not huge, but it's good. For example, I scored Dr. Loosen Riesling, one of my all-time favorites (and she noted was one of hers as well). It's particularly good if you dig Chardonnay (I don't) or Pinot Noir (sometimes!). I scored a delicious Beaujolais once that I hope comes back in stock! I have yet to try the meats, but hope to soon. I've seen a steady stream of presumably repeat customers buying meats when I've been here, so it must be good. A local butcher is always awesome. For local food, she offers condiments and sauces, local pies, cheese straws, and other local flavor-type things. It's all fine, and a nice venue for local businesses to showcase their offerings but nothing particularly remarkable, I think. Definitely worth your business for great booze, and probably great meat!

We were served promptly and enjoyed every bite! The garden salad was big and fresh. His pizza was crisp and hot and loaded with 5 meats and lots of cheese. I had the tortellini special: ham and scallions with cheese tortellini in a garlic cream sauce -- it was delicious!!! Definitely a great spot!!

"Does your Margherita Pizza have fresh mozzarella or shredded"? Ashleigh the Manager: "Sir, this is…read morePrattville, Alabama. People around here insist on shredded but you can order a 'Build Your Own' with fresh mozzarella." That young lady deserves a raise. I don't know her salary, but trust me you should pay her more because she is fantastic at her job and is the reason for four stars instead of three. She kept smiles on the faces of everyone with a great sense of humor. As for the restaurant, it's a nice pizzeria with cool pictures on the wall and even a Ms. Pac-Man game in the corner. They have two tables on the patio outside but plenty of seating inside. We ordered the Build Your Own Pizza but basically made it a Margherita pizza with fresh mozzarella to go. Got to try and keep it somewhat authentic. We had a few beers on the patio and Ashleigh came by one time with samples of a chocolate shake that has some stout beer and round chocolate cookie cereal pieces on top. It was delicious. Unfortunately, our pizza had to be reheated by the time we got back to my sister's house. It was ok but it's not fair to rate it since it wasn't fresh from the oven. Crust was halfway decent. I'd try them again for sure but I'd eat at the restaurant next time.

This place definitely deserves its 5 stars…read more Our server Lyle was very polite and took her time to find out the specials and review the menu with us. When we asked about drinks she brought over the bartender Josh, who was just as awesome! He made us a few bartender special beverages and you could taste the passion this man has for the job! Bravo to the staff, if we lived locally this would be a spot we would frequently regular at! The inside of the restaurant felt very grounded and well put together, and the patio looked just as cozy! We were recommended the Caesar salad from a server we ran into outside the restaurant which is what brought us into the restaurant. They make an in house dressing which had great flavor notes! The croutons were nice and airy, and the lettuce was perfectly crispy, a great Caesar salad. We ordered the cowboy burger and the steak sandwhich as our entrees with a side of Brussel sprouts and green beans. The burger was fantastic! Great balance of ingredients and a good size burger, very filling. The steak on my sandwich was so tender but it was a bit salty for my taste. My brussel sprouts also felt a little undercooked, but I still believe this restaurant deserves five stars because of the service they provide and the menu they curated

Fried green tomatoes was ordered for the appetizer... (which i couldn't get to try, allergies')... everyone seemed to have enjoyed them... Everything was great until two of our staff tasted their pineapples that were ontop of their glazed chicken. The fruit didn't taste right so they had to reorder..
