My MacBook Pro stopped working out of nowhere. I've had it since it first came out, about six years ago, and everything was on that computer. My businesses. My properties. Student and work-related information. Personal documents. Photos. Things I never backed up because I never imagined something like this would happen. When it stopped turning on, I tried everything. Different chargers. I went to multiple repair places. Geek Squad couldn't help. Apple couldn't help. I made several Apple appointments, walked in early, stayed late, and had multiple employees try. They were kind, but no one could get it to turn on. The light would come on and shut off. One Apple employee even described it as "CPR," like the computer was trying to come back to life but couldn't. Eventually, they told me the computer was basically done and advised me to focus on data recovery. I was devastated. To be completely honest, it caused so much stress that I had to talk through it in therapy. That computer held my life. That's when I found this data recovery company online and met Abraham. From the moment I spoke to him, he gave me something no one else did: hope, without false promises. If I had Apple Care, it would've been a $99 deductible. I paid less than that deductible cost alone for Empire to replace my charging port! 10/10, I would absolutely recommend coming here for this, and the charging port isn't something Apple looks at when you trade in a phone. I decided while I was there to get a new battery as well since mine was two years old and only charging to 79% of the original capacity. Cheaper than Apple AND the phone recognizes it as a genuine Apple battery. The technician was friendly, answered all my questions, and finished in less time than quoted. I did say I was just fixing the screen to send my phone in and get an upgrade, but I was not told that this would happen, and it has happened multiple times since then where the screen stops working and I have to restart my phone. So I just think other customers should be aware of this. Definitely pay the extra $50 but that also seems like something they should've communicated when I purchased this.

My girlfriend explained, calmly but firmly, that she believed the camera issue began only after the previous repair and that we had already spent weeks trying to get the issue resolved. Instead of working toward a solution, he denied responsibility, accused her of damaging the phone herself, and used profanity during the conversation. At one point he still had possession of the phone while the discussion continued. We repeatedly asked him to return it, and he eventually did. We then left. At the time, we believed the repair had gone well, so we left a 5-star review. Unfortunately, our experience changed after the follow-up repairs and the way our concerns were handled. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability, responsibilities for his actions, the difficulty communicating with the business, the inconsistency between the posted business hours and when someone was actually available, him going out for 2-4 hours a day with no corrections on his website/operating hours, and the way we were treated when we tried to resolve the issue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business especially since this man, business owner and father who doesn't know how to fix phones properly, does not run his business during his operating hours correctly or know to speak to others especially around women since he has a smart mouth, stutters and raises his voice when he's told when he's wrong, and couldn't find his integrity anywhere so he became insecure which wasn't surprising. It's sad that some business owners like himself become too comfortable once they have customers. Instead of standing behind their work, they shift blame, avoid communication, and expect customers to pay again for problems that arose after the original repair. Pathetic and reminds me of how poor of a leader and business owner he is, possibly a good family man but a goddamn terrible business owner by far!

I had already waited 90 minutes and had neither the time nor the money for options I never agreed to. The final amount charged was $22.
