What is impressive is that my friend has had practically every baked good in this bakery's display case, except for maybe two items. Although I was more thirsty and wasn't dying to having something to eat, looking at the pear tarts, croissants, cheesecakes, and more made me throw all those physical feelings away. I wanted everything! Of course, I'm not made of money. I had my eyes on the prize: the nata. I ordered one to enjoy at this eatery. I got it on a nice plate. I paid for it with a credit card. I had a huge AriZona iced tea with me, so I didn't need a drink at this stage. The woman behind the counter was helpful and friendly. This bakery also is a convenience-grocery store. My friend picked up a number of chocolate bars and shared one of them with me. You can get everything from Sumol carbonated beverages in plastic bottles, to imported jams. We sat down at a table with chairs to enjoy our treats. It was a bit hot in this place. So, if you are looking for more effective air conditioning (I think it was a fan that cooled the place down here), you may want to try another venue. I loved my nata. It was custardy and yummy. The tea flavour actually wasn't as pronounced as I would have expected considering the presence of the leaves. I was a bit disappointed in this regard because I love potent tea flavours. However, the scone itself was well made, and I think I would enjoy other flavours more (like maybe a savoury one such as cheddar). Service was nice enough, and the cafe is cute. My favourites were the brown sugar and raisin scones and the brownies, even though I only had maybe one and a half brownies before my husband ate them all. They were perfectly moist, not overly sweet, and super addictive. Both types of scones were great (and huge!), but I hadn't had raisins in forever, so I enjoyed the couple different kinds they used and they were generous with the amount in the scones. It was sweeter than the berry one, which I normally wouldn't like, but I could've eaten them all week. They had such a great sort of toastier outside and were still moist inside, even after a few days of sitting on the counter. They didn't even need heating or toasting! I wouldn't have bought scones if we went there in person, since they're not usually a go-to baked good of mine, so I'm glad we got to try them and I'd definitely order them in the future. There were instructions on the box on how to heat the quiche and the pie. The quiche was a nice, light breakfast with fluffy eggs and a tasty crust. I would've liked more cheddar for more of that cheesy flavour, but I'm cheese obsessed so I think it has a regular amount and I'm just greedy for cheese. The pie was the same for the crust. I wasn't keen on all of the raspberry seeds and I wished the crisp past stayed crispy, since it sort of absorbed the sugar from the jammy filling and didn't crisp back up with baking or broiling. They had little pieces of candied fruits in it, like the stuff in fruitcake. I am not a fan of fruitcake nor am I a fan of candied fruits. If you like the aforementioned items, then perhaps you will like their little twist on pecan tarts. However, if you are not a fan like me, then you might want to pass. They had date squares (another thing I don't like), scones, macarons, and some other items. Not all items have prices listed. I may return to try some macarons, especially if they are only $1 each like a previous reviewer mentioned (the price was not listed in the store). Service was nice and friendly. There are 2 bistro tables for 2 inside the bakery, but it's mostly for takeout. Lots of free parking in the strip mall parking lot.

The Chocolate Banana Croissant was much better in my opinion and it was a normal size. It was a croissant with real bananas inside and then covered in chocolate. I had a bite and I liked it. They also sell savoury items like ham and cheese croissants, but they ran out when we were there, which disappointed me because I wanted something savoury. Staff were very friendly and courteous. It was tasty and I enjoyed it, it just wasn't Beef Bulgogi, lol. The vegetarian spring roll was hot and crispy, but a bit oily. I tasted a lot of starch in it, from some sort of root vegetable (?) perhaps taro, or potatoes (?) It was my least favourite of the items we tried. The chili meat pie was a nice handheld pie. The pastry was good and held together nicely, wasn't too crumbly. The filling was ground meat with a slightly spicy kick to it. I actually did not have any of the sausage roll as my husband devoured it all, lol, (actually I told him he could have it all because I'm generally not a fan of hotdogs or sausages). He enjoyed it.
