Always feel welcome here, even though I'm fairly new to firearms and ask a ton of questions. I get the vibe that they're always looking out for me. They provide guidance and seem to be facilitators instead of cut and dry 'get in, transact, and get out' type of sales. Their enthusiasm and passion no doubt play an important role too. Thank you, Portside team! read more

I was short, fat, poor, and had no friends. I went to Portside and bought an atlas. I'm now 6 inches taller, absolutely jacked, more money than I know what to do with, and everyone loves me. Thank you Portside for changing my life! read more

- Precision, Professionalism, and a Purchase Worth Remembering Stepping into Portside Munitions is like entering the well oiled heart of a true enthusiast's domain equal parts professional showroom, precision workshop, and welcoming community hub. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this was not just another firearms retailer; this was a place where craftsmanship meets customer care. I came in looking for a MAC9, and the team treated my search not as a transaction, but as a tailored experience. The staff's knowledge was matched only by their respect for safety and responsibility, which was both reassuring and refreshing. The MAC9 itself is everything I hoped for solid in the hand, smooth in operation, and precise in performance. Every component feels deliberate, every feature purposeful. It's a firearm that inspires confidence, and Portside Munitions ensured that confidence started the moment I stepped through their door. In a market where many shops can feel rushed, indifferent, or transactional, Portside Munitions stands apart. They operate with integrity, expertise, and genuine enthusiasm for what they do. Whether you're a first-time buyer or a seasoned collector, you'll leave here with more than just a purchase you'll leave with knowledge, assurance, and a product you can trust. If you value professional service, authentic passion, and top-tier hardware, make Portside Munitions your first and only stop. My MAC9 purchase was flawless from start to finish, and I can say with certainty it won't be my last visit. read more

Portside Munitions has probably one of, if not the best aficionado gun inventories in the country. Never mind that it's in California. There isn't a LGS in my area with the kind of rare and hard to source pistols that Portside Munitions has on hand. That's saying a lot as I live in Gun Friendly Texas! read more

Absolutely the best gun store - I drove 16 hours round trip to go to! Of the 4-5 gun stores I have been in Portside is my favorite. The shop has all their inventory and consignments online always updated, they have high-end specialty off-roster stuff you don't normally see, and the store feels more like a lounge with couches, drinks, bar stools, and just good vibes. Reasonable prices and most importantly knowledgable and friendly staff. Full story: I was driving down to LA from Oakland to pick up something that was not on the "magic list" from a private seller and decided I would check out some local shops and try and get another off-roster consignment piece if possible so I felt better about making 4x 7 hour drives. I called 3-4 shops originally looking for a Staccato (some shops refused to give pricing over the phone or online!) and ended up talking to Kevin. Kevin was super knowledgable and although he had a very nice rare Staccato to sell me ended up suggesting I go for an Artemis RDS from Atlas instead, going over the pro/cons and suggesting using calguns.net to find a private seller so I wouldn't have to pay them 11% CA fee + sales tax and instead was really getting a better value for the kind of high-quality bespoke firearm I was craving. I arrived at the shop and Kevin and the other gentleman were awesome and helped me with the private sale in addition to selling me another fun consignment piece - a bronze-colored Desert Eagle. I also got great advice, a wonderful hard case, extra mags and all the other stuff. In the end I was out of the store for less than $10k too. I can't wait to pickup my new firearms in a couple of weeks and take them out to the range for some target practice. read more

Great customer service and friendly/welcoming environment. They carry the best of the best firearms out there!

Can't even begin to say enough about this shop's professionalism, knowledge and dedication to always keeping the customer happy, they go above and beyond and will always answer any questions you have and problem shoot/(solve) any issue or setback you may encounter. Amazing business. Customer service is nothing less then "tailor made." They can can get you, what you desire. Where wise can you go in. Private setting, and talk 1 on 1 without nosy onlookers trying to buy cheap junk. They specialize in the "BEST of the BEST". If John Wick had a gun shop, he would be jealous of Portside. Portside Munitions is the pinnacle of firearms retail stores for the Southern California area. I am an Orange County native that has since moved to the south, but Portside is exactly what I had been looking for in a gun store for so long. They have an inventory of quality firearms that people actually want, and are very knowledgeable. Now that I no longer live in CA I can't say that I shop there frequently but I still am happy to support how I can with their awesome apparel, patches, and some Portside Pinks! Will definitely be swinging by Portside next time I'm in town. This is the firearms store that OC needed. SPEND RECKLESSLY! Glad to be repping Portside in GA! read more

Just moved to the area and Kevin was pleasant to work with. I was interested in something for duty use and a higher end range toy. I was able to get both from Portside. Service is top notch and frankly, I prefer the 1 on 1 private experience. I don't like being pressured at your run of the mill shops with a line of people breathing down your neck. You can't go wrong here. read more
