Required fairly extensive maintenance, so I was expecting to drop some coin. The counter man was friendly, helpful, and gave me a quote I was pretty happy with. In the end, it was unusually spot on, and when I came to pay and fetch, a different counter lady saw my work ID and gave me a discount for working at Duke. Overall, fair, efficient and would definitely be comfortable going back there again.

It ended up being a stripped bolt on the front left sway bar link that attached to the subframe. I am impressed with their attention to detail on this, and I appreciate that they really wanted to get it resolved. They also didn't charge me for any of the work, which included a brake flush to fix the brake issue I noticed after the first repair. I highly recommend them, and I think it says a lot about a business when they own a mistake and fix it. Thanks guys!

The CHAPEL HILL TIRE store on Hillsborough Road will not get any of my future business after telling my son he needed about 7K worth of repairs that were almost entirely unnecessary. That couldn't be further from the truth. They called me around 2 AM saying the job was complete and asked me to send the remaining balance. Just minutes later, my driver reported that the truck was shaking extremely bad. When I called them back, they told my driver to meet them about 10 miles away--only to then say there was nothing they could do. Since then, I have been calling them all morning with no answer. On top of that, my toolbox was stolen off my truck while it was in their possession. This entire experience has been unprofessional, dishonest, and unacceptable. I paid $4,000 for work that was clearly not done correctly, and now I'm left dealing with additional damage and missing property. If they do not communicate with me ASAP, I will be filing a civil suit and taking this matter to court. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Justin agreed to do the work for an extremely reasonable and fair price, and did it the same day. I ordered the part from the local auto store and he picked it up and put it in withing an hour or so. He sent me videos of what he was doing as well as constant updates along the way. The worst part about our experience with Accurate is that they did not listen to what we were asking them to repair. We understand that mechanics have to get their own diagnostics but we took it to the dealership AND another reputable service center and both places gave us the same reading (many repair shops including dealer won't work on transmissions). Accurate decided to do what they wanted, most likely to save $$ on their end. Then William, who takes the calls, got an attitude with me after Accurate had our car for 2 months, when I asked when we could expect our car back. I will say, Accurate ended up paying for our rental car which was a huge help after paying $3k to get our transmission fixed. I will keep you posted on our cars progress as we've had it for about 3 weeks now and all is well.
