On the day of the moving 2 crews arrived (John never came back to the old or new home), one crew seemed to work with LoadMasterz the second one seemed to be hired for this work. The driver seemed to be smoking pot while he was inside the truck (all my belongings smelled like it when I arrived to the new place and the guy seemed a little bit off...) the same guy broke a table while forcing it through the door (he told John that the table was already damaged which is not true) and he kept throwing boxes while unloading that were clearly identified as "fragile" (the second crew I refer to where apologizing all the time about how this guy was behaving) A tv was also damaged and when I mentioned this to John, the " insurance process" was started and more than a month later I don't have any response. Really disappointed, I don't think I will work with them again and definitely wont recommend.

I had to reschedule my move twice because of my apartment not being ready on time they were understanding and worked with me. However, be sure to ask about all the extras in detail and don't assume like I did - my fault in part for not asking specifics and assuming a reputable company would be just that - BIG Mistake. I was charged $366 dollars for fuel and travel charges on a 12-mile move and the move they did before mine was in the same city. Then another $137.00 for supplies - tape, shrink wrap, and two mattress bags - that is unreal and again was not communicated in detail just mentioned in passing like it wouldn't be a big deal - My mistake for not asking ahead of time. They rescheduled the moves twice and the first time I was given a discounted hourly rate for being flexible, that discount was not honored in the end. The second time again I was polite and flexible with my move date being pushed out again by a week, he wanted two weeks but as soon as I said no way it was just a week. I was told I would also be a first delivery of the day, so they would come between 8-10am. That was not honored either. I called all morning after they never showed up, several times at several numbers and waited on hold, to finally speak with someone to be told we were not a first delivery as told and were second and the movers would be to my house at about 12:30pm -more than two hours after the time I was told. I just feel lied to and deceived and partly my fault for not asking for more detail and clarification, but if they are charging fees that high it should be communicated in detail before you give them your deposit. I could have hied another local company had I been told that with all these extra fees I'd actually be spending almost $500 more that just the labor costs. Don't hire them without asking for the small print to be detailed. LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY.

The movers arrived and asked me if I needed more time to pack. I had only hired them for heavy pieces of furniture which do not need to be packed. Which I stated to them. One of the movers, a woman named Lynnette, took photos and videos of my belongings WITHOUT MY CONSENT and called her boss to explain how I was not move ready when I just needed them to move furniture. Very unprofessional and honestly just plain rude. Another man who arrived asked to purchase my lawn mower that was not at all for sale. They absolutely refused to move me. Their moving consultant, Kobe, called me to let me know that I was not move ready and that they had availability to move me Monday or Tuesday. I needed to move SUNDAY, had planned everything around the SUNDAY move. I work for a living and was unable to take time off. When he tried to force me to reschedule I asked him to call me back at another time due to how upset I was with the whole interaction. Tuesday morning, I get a call from a mover telling me they are 10 minutes away. Huh? I never scheduled anything for Tuesday and was under the impression I would receive a follow up call to reschedule the move. Contacted them and they told me I said that Tuesday was fine and if it wasn't a good day that I had planned to call back. Complete and utter lies. As of now, I have not gotten my refundable deposit of $100 back from them. Now I have to find different movers. I am living between two different houses (luckily due to friends and family I was able to move the absolute bare minimum on Sunday, but not everyone has that). It is had been a NIGHTMARE. None of the glass to my tables were found in the storge. No one had been in my storage unit the entire time. So, I contacted customer service about my missing property and was told there's nothing they could do. I ended up having to throw away 3 perfectly good tables because of it. They communicated every step of the way, and even with an overfilled schedule - took the time and delicacy needed to move my secretary without a scratch on it. Literally. They didn't over charge, and cost much less than others I reached out to in general. Very transparent on cost and easy to work with. It was a rainy, muggy, and windy day -- and this didn't affect their efficiency of work whatsoever. So, if you need a moving company that won't try to overcharge you, communicates well and with transparency, and shows up to get the job done - no matter rain or shine - these are your guys!
