I've had a blast selling off my old baseball cards (my kids don't want them) locally and on-line, A few months ago we also sold off our stamp and coin collection, except for some commemorative Canadian coins minted for the 1988 Calgary Olympics. I contacted KC's Gold, as well as a coin dealer in Toronto to gauge their interest in those Olympic coins. Fred from KC responded right away but his Canadian counterpart never responded after two e-mails. How un-Canadian of him!! Anyway, I visited Fred today to accept his very fair offer. The store is awesome, with baseball cards, coins and vinyl LPs everywhere. Fred was one of the very nicest shop owners I've ever met. He was a real pleasure to work with.

I ask how he's doing and I had question about a piece of silver jewelry. He then says, "well I can't do anything if I can't see it" which yes you can, there are questions I can ask that you don't have to visibly see it for. I then say quite annoyed that his website mostly showed coins so I wasn't sure if it'd be they'd be interested in a piece like this. His response"is it gold? if not I'm not interested". Again this is all barely audible cause he isn't speaking into the phone or paying attention. I hung up on him because that is unacceptable customer sevice. I had already stated it was silver, he's rude, apparently can't hear too well and has not enough patience to answer one question. Typical Winsted. Don't waste your time or effort.
