I received it in a few days and couldn't have been more pleased. Apparently "open box" was, basically, the same as "brand new" to them. Original box, packaging, paperwork, everything as if I had received it new from the factory. I can't recommend them enough. I've had a blast selling off my old baseball cards (my kids don't want them) locally and on-line, A few months ago we also sold off our stamp and coin collection, except for some commemorative Canadian coins minted for the 1988 Calgary Olympics. I contacted KC's Gold, as well as a coin dealer in Toronto to gauge their interest in those Olympic coins. Fred from KC responded right away but his Canadian counterpart never responded after two e-mails. How un-Canadian of him!! Anyway, I visited Fred today to accept his very fair offer. The store is awesome, with baseball cards, coins and vinyl LPs everywhere. Fred was one of the very nicest shop owners I've ever met. He was a real pleasure to work with.

My husband came into their shop with pictures and videos of a TV wall setup that we were looking to sell. He made a deal with the owner that night and he was told to bring it in the next morning. The video wall consisted of 9 55" tvs worth about $4,000 each. The next day we brought them and my husband asked for help bringing them in and the worker agreed. As my husband was getting the TVs out of the truck the worker brought out a cart to put them on. My husband told the worker that he didn't feel like it would be a good idea to bring them in using the cart but the worker informed him that's what they use to assist with people bringing in items. My husband put the first TV on and they went back to get the next tv. During this time the cart began to roll and the TV fell and shattered. The manager working there told my husband they were not interested in buying broken property and told him to get his "sh**" off of their cart. My husband let him know that he didn't think it was right. We brought them in perfect condition and they had a hand in the destruction of our property. The manager repeated to him to get his "sh**" off their cart. I told my husband it was fine. I documented it and can make a report with the cops. After hearing that the manager started getting loud with me and speaking to me in a very unprofessional manner. My husband let him know that he was not going to call the cops but he believes they should make it right considering the whole setup is now devalued. The manager agreed that the situation was wrong and we can come back to speak to the owner on Friday to see what we can do. My husband returned this morning and as soon as he walked in the same manager told him that they were no longer interested and they want nothing to do with the situation. So now we are left with a broken $4000 screen and a devalued $30,000 set up.

I said I had a question about their gold pricing, he said "ya, what? " I asked what % of melt value they were paying for 18k gold based on todays gold prices. He said I'd need to bring in the chain, which I HAD planned on doing but asked again, what percentage per gram they were paying based on todays' spot gold price. He yelled into the phone "did you not hear what I said?" and at that point I just hung up.........wow. I hope that wasn't the owner I spoke to...........
