I contacted KC's Gold, as well as a coin dealer in Toronto to gauge their interest in those Olympic coins. Fred from KC responded right away but his Canadian counterpart never responded after two e-mails. How un-Canadian of him!! Anyway, I visited Fred today to accept his very fair offer. Since I am a retired policeofficer I recalled that stolen property is sometimes taken to pawnshops to be sold. On Tuesday 4/29 I went to Pawn Nation on Main St in New Britain and upon entering saw a powerwasher fitting the description of my stolen powerwasher. I took a picture of the powerwasher and asked the clerk how much did he want for it. He responded $200 and that it was brand new. He also stated that gas had not been put into the tank. This statement confirmed to me that it was my powerwasher because I had not put gas in the tank. I contacted the NBPD and an officer responded at which time I briefed him on my findings and provided him with my phone showing the picture I had taken in Power Nation. Approximately 15 minutes later he returned and informed me the powerwasher was not on the floor or anywhere on the premises. Upon asking the clerk where was the powerwasher, the clerk denied it was ever there.

I said I had a question about their gold pricing, he said "ya, what? " I asked what % of melt value they were paying for 18k gold based on todays gold prices.
