My experience was similar to Jim's review. Our mother moved in with us and we were trying to figure…read moreout her schedule and let Jackie - the owner - know we would need to adjust her schedule as we got things sorted out. She said that was not a problem and promised us that she was just a phone call away. We left that meeting very hopeful. We rarely could get her on the phone after that day and her scheduling team had a big issue following through with requests for a schedule change. I even emailed them a proposed schedule using the email on their website. They never got it and didn't know where my email went; they assumed it went directly to Jackie but weren't sure... When I did finally get ahold of Jackie (calling the number on the invoice) she promised us twice she'd get a schedule to us by the end of the day. She didn't. Nearly a week passed with us asking her a second time to provide an update -- again she promised she'd get back to us by EOD. She never did and never even contacted us to say she needed more time. It was just *silence.* When we let them know we were terminating our service, Jackie was defensive and confused. It was a truly wild experience. I'm giving them two stars because the person they did set us up with for a few days each week was good. She just didn't have bandwidth -- and I don't think Pink Angels is staffed to be anywhere as flexible or accommodating as they promised.

My first clue should have been when the company owner, Jackie, showed up at our house driving a Maserati. At our first meeting, I was promised the moon and the stars; I was told the schedule is as flexible as I needed it; if I needed anything, Jackie is only a phone call or text away 24/7. After that meeting, I was never able to speak with Jackie again. Instead, she has a staff of family members who incompetently complete all of her work. When I would ask to talk with Jackie, I'd get the excuse that she was too busy or in a meeting. When returning my calls, they would consistently call my mom direct, which did nothing but confuse her; when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service I was receiving, they canceled on me altogether with no notice at 4p on a Friday. I was left caring for my terminal mother until I could find another care provider. Palos Hospital's hospice service recommended Pink Angels, and I accepted their recommendation without question; well, lesson learned. I've reached out to the hospital to let them know about our experience and ensure they never recommend them again. We went with a company called Home Instead, and they were the most caring and compassionate people I've ever encountered. I wish I had gone with them in the first place.
