Upon walking in the gallery, we were greeted by Tracey, the gallery owner and artist. I was surprised to meet the artist in person as this is rare as many galleries have their curator greet gallery goers. After Tracey introduced herself, she gave me a history behind the gallery and the types of art that I could find there. As she spoke to my partner and I, she opened a bottle of champagne for us to enjoy (insert happy dance here). I found Tracey's work to eclectic, fresh, funky and personal. She is the type of artist who is passionate about her craft, and it shows. Before I get to the main body of my review, I want to mention their old location. Located on Camp Street in a very old building, the amount of history in that place was truly amazing. In their case were old police badges, old signs, etc. that they had made throughout the years. I was really sad to see them move from the old spot, but the new place is much more customer friendly. Now in Mid-City, there is ample street and lot parking. Inside the store is clean, modern and efficient. There are many items on display that show the range of things they can create. Everything from vinyl signs to super high end markers for mausoleums. The favorite piece of mine is the old wheelbarrow branded with the Ed Smith logo prominently displayed in the lobby. But looking at cool things is not why I come. I have had many different items made by Ed Smith over the years including name tags, desk name plates, office door plates and most recently self-inking stamps. The quality of their stamps is first rate. They even handled a difficult custom job for me that I picked up today. While not cheap, I have never seen a self- inking stamp so large or so clear. The staff are very helpful and even willing to deal with difficult customers who have unrealistic expectations (Me). I am sure you can go to some national company for these kinds of things, but trust me, Ed Smith is the best at what they do, and they are local.

After waiting 2 weeks for our belongings to be delivered we were given a confirmed date and time which we relied on. 24 hrs before delivery, we are informed that our items "did not make it onto the truck". Their next delivery date would be in another 2 months!!! Maybe....We were stuck in the mountains with just a few clothes!!! We could not trust Kid Gloves to come through after this and were forced to hire another moving company to collect our things and perform the delivery - which was done professionally and timely. Of course this ended up costing us $$$'s more. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are an amateur operation and will deliver more headache than service.

Browse by, look at the art and talk to the artists most of which are there selling New Orleans/Louisiana centric work. Paintings, jewelry, posters, souvenirs, etc. Not cheap Bourbon Street types of things. Frenchmen Street has a great music scene and this Bazaar is a pleasant way to spend a little time between clubs. Most places say they do, but then we get there and find out they have two or three pieces. Anton Limited, however, has tons of estate and antique rings with diamonds and gemstones! The selection was simply amazing! We were nearly overwhelmed with the number of rings they had with diamonds and all different kinds of gemstones and colored diamonds, even in our price range! Their diamond art deco rings were simply amazing. The saleswoman we worked with was extremely helpful and willing to show us ring after ring. They even had rings with rarer stones like alexanderite and black diamonds! We may go with one of the rings they had, but even if we don't, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!
