We stumbled upon this shortly before they closed on our way to the bar/ club. The art work was very diverse. Each vendor had a unique style and flair to them. Everyone was friendly and shared their inspiration behind their creations.

What a fun street. Not as many vendors as there used to be (maybe because it's so hot out in august) but I love how colorful and artsy the whole street is and you can hear loud music coming from everywhere. Definitely a must visit area in New Orleans

A variety of local artists vend here many weeknights, usually starting at 7 pm and ending at midnight. They're also here most weekends. The space itself is perfect - sort of a long alley - and artists line both sides. Handmade jewelry (be sure to check out Deadly Dapper's butterfly creations), paintings, sculpture, soaps, funny caps...I even had a mini makeover here with a makeup artist who offers glitter lipsticks and eyeshadows for a donation to a local women's shelter. I felt so glam and bought a tube to bring home - a great memory and souvenir! You might find something you didn't know you needed - like the Glittershitter toilet seats, featuring Elvis, the Golden Girls, many musicians & celebrities. Hilarious! A perfect New Orleans experience.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this place. Had no expectations and was blown away. So many cool, unique & interesting artists selling all kinds of different things. An absolute VIBE!

It was a nice albeit small art bazar. We purchased some prints and had a hilarious time giving our iPhone a rollercoaster ride. Highly recommend for something different. Wish there were more places like this in New Orleans.

    Open every night 6-12!

“We had just come out of the Spotted Cat Music Club after listening to some fun jazz in the afternoon and stumbled on this open-air art market.”

This being said, this is an excellent place to pick up really unique and very good local artistic creations. Whether it's in the form of paintings, drawings, jewelry, sculpture, and a little bit of everything else, if you're looking for some art and you want it to be from New Orleans, this is your place to get it. Located in the French Quarter. This place is a unique business to check out. From the moment you walk in, you are overtaken by all of the colorful beauty that lines the walls and the shelves of this business. It is really a fun place to shop. There's so much stuff! This business has both a front section and a rear section. Both of which are filled with tons of various types of art. The prices here are all very reasonable. It's not like some shops that you go into and you like a piece of art and then you check the price and you're going OMG. That's not the case here. The artwork, the jewelry, and the everything else are what I would consider very reasonable. Overall, if you want a great piece of local art, this is an ideal business to purchase it from.

First stumbled in after Swamp Dog & Friends consolidated to Le Jardin and I was searching for another print to add to our collection in our dining room and ended up discovering more local artists. Absolutely loved seeing some of the art still drying in the back area and the ability to find a gift (for family and friends or just us) so unique and special to New Orleans. Prices vary but the quality is there if you opt for a painting or other piece opposed to a print.

I was so drawn to "Exu the Trickster doll" that I put it on my Christmas Wishlist, but nobody got him for me. Flash forward to end of September 2026, I went to visit NOLA with my best friend for my birthday. There was one place that was a must-see: Voodoo Authentica. I came unsure if I still believed in magic and left a believer. The tradition and magic is so alive in the people and objects in the store. I ended up getting my Exu doll and set up an altar for him when I got home. The store has an aura unlike any other Voodoo store in the French quarter. I got a reading from Raven which was such a beautiful experience, she made me a custom anointing oil. Papa Zaar read my palm as I was shopping and made a super accurate comment. I got great guidance on how to use the oils. I had a spiritual guidance phone session with Papa Zaar which was super helpful when cultivating my practice. The readings are really worth the money, value, and affordable. I can't wait to visit again- my #1 pick for all things Voodoo (the real deal)!

When we walked in there was a film crew, recording a video. The woman at the front desk immediately snapped and said "we are filming!!!" First of all...if you need it to be quite close early or put a sign on the door stating you're filming. Boom. But then to be rude on top of it?! Yikes. I was actually planning on spending a lot here but given the treatment I was totally turned off by the behavior. Weirdly enough a beige family came in and didn't have the same verbal hostility that our group did. This business should do better.
