I would love to leave a big fat 0 stars!!! You denied access to my daughter and her service dog. She is a diabetic alert dog and my daughter is a brittle diabetic. That is illegal and I will definitely be telling anyone that listens that you are not only a business that doesnt follow the law, but that your horrible people on top of that. The dog is clearly marked as a service dog and her task is clearly marked on her vest. By law, you are not allowed to deny them access because of the dog. You are required by law to accommodate them. She is fully trained so there wasn't a problem with behavior. You are just crappy human beings and karma is a bitch. I hope you get what you deserve.

We had such a nice time at this place. Our lunches were great with one of the nine in our group remarking they thought it was the best sandwich (Triple Meat) they'd ever had! Cute place in a cute town! I had a rootbeer float in memory of my dad who passed in April. He used to make/get them for us often as kids.

Dual purpose tourist trap with a small restaurant in the back. Didn't even pay attention to the merchandise except while we were waiting for our order. Visited primarily for the breakfast offerings. No frills would be an understatement. Simple order at the counter process; food was delivered to your table by calling out your name. Prices were super cheap; $4.50 in fact for a "Mess". That's basically a scramble folks with choice of breakfast meat topped with cheese. Forget ordering for an omelette; nobody got time to learn how to cook that in downtown Jefferson! Served expertly with a food service packet of sour cream, salsa, and your choice of bread. Biscuit was just OK; no option for taters as it's an add on. Kinda don't get it the menu; give us a $7.50 platter with all of it!

Originally went here because it was the only place we found open on a Sunday that i could get an iced Latte from! We went inside and it was so cute! We decided to have breakfast, I ordered the western mess which is basically a scrambled omelet .. i had a side of bacon and side of hashbrowns and toast. Everything's was delicious! I must comment on each item - starting with the bacon as it was the best bacon I have ever had from a restaurant and then the toast was the best toast I have had from a restaurant - I think maybe they buttered and grilled not sure but wow it was tasty and next the hashbrowns perfectly seasoned and prepared, not to soft not to crisp but golden brown and quite tasty!! The eggs were cracked fresh with ham onions peppers cheese and the veggies inside were chopped small and were grilled and cooked in with the eggs to perfection!! Another person in my party ordered the BLT! The picture will tell you the story! Wow is all I will say! And i was told that there is not a BLT anywhere that can top this one!! The coffee! Fabulous and my iced LATTE was oh so delish! They started with a strong cold brew espresso and it was so good I went back and ordered another that afternoon!! Another cool thing about this place is they have a little store with salsas dips candles gifts and lots of little treasures to shop.. so this little spot was a HIT for me! Give them a try!

We got fudge!

Every small town has its tourist stores. Some are better than others! Port Jefferson Outpost is one of the really good ones. Some stores, I'm in and out in 5 minutes. I'll wait for Glenda on the sidewalk. A store that keeps me inside for 30 minutes is well worth seeing. I walked in the front door and to my left was that gorgeous fudge bar, at least 10 different flavors. Next, the candy bar, filled with truffles and anything else chocolate that will attack your sweet tooth! Next, the Blue Bell ice cream of course. One scoop or two, it's up to you! Hang a right at the back of the store and the coffee bar awaits you. Latte, cappuccino, espresso, or a plain old cup of Joe, take your pick. Walking towards the front are the endless shelves of tourist stuff you might or might not want. Oh my goodness, look at the endless row of buckets filled with taffy! At least 20 different flavors, and we got some of about half of them. So good! Stores like this are always fun to browse, and spend a little money! We'll be back!

Such a fun place. Lots of southern hospitality, very nostalgic, and extremely patriotic. We stopped in for breakfast based on reviews. We were here Memorial Day weekend. They had a "Missing Man" table set up to honor the fallen. Total respect!!! The food was great and everyone there was very friendly, polite, and helpful. The place is very well run and I can't say enough good things about them. We sampled the fudge and it was delicious. They have lots of sweet treats and fun shopping. Will definitely return when in the area.

What a cute breakfast place and gift store. As I sat there eating breakfast I kept seeing things I wanted to look at and see. FIRST UP FOOD: the coffee was spot on. The biscuits and gravy were delish and totally homemade. In fact, I got a bit of cracked pepper in my throat and had a coughing fit. Second Up Shopping: it's really cute and filled with total kitsch i don't need or want. Then I saw the MAGA hats. If I hadn't already paid for breakfast I'd have walked out. Then I realized that they may or may not be Trumpites, because they were also selling coffee with Trump as "The Godfather" on it. Marlon Brando would be turning over in his grave. So I decided (maybe because I wanted to) that they are just opportunist. This is a true small town store. The people come in and know one another. The guy that works down the street sold me about about ghosts in East Texas. Oh and for the true locals, the accent is so thick you can cut it with a knife. BYE Y'ALL

Had the western Mess. Which is described as a omelet but not a pretty Oh and Sour cream on a omelette like dish is a new go to

So you know how you go to cracker barrel and shop before and after you eat? Well the out post is kinda like that except you can shop while you eat. The breakfast was great and very affordable. You order at the back counter and they bring your food to the table. It's not fancy. Just good food good service and good price.

My friends and I stayed in Jefferson over Labor Day and enjoyed breakfast here two times. The Cafe/Grill is located in the back of the store. A nice young man named Sam took our orders both days and was so nice. Masks are required and all staff members were wearing them. The breakfast food was good and inexpensive. There are a few tables in the back distanced apart for you to eat there, or there are tables outside on the sidewalk or right in the front entryway. The store itself has cute homemade items and other souvenirs. I bought two Texas themed dish towels that are super cute. While there are other items worth noting, I have to highly recommend the fudge. It's amazing and dare I say, life changing. My friends and I went back one last time before we left town to buy more. :)

Enjoyed a good breakfast on a town where breakfast is scarce due to the number of BnBs that take care of that part.

The shop was filled with countless amounts of candies chocolate & gummy's. me and my friends were trying to calculate how much we could get with the budget that we had, then the kindest lady walked up to us with a baby on her hip and said that we could get anything we wanted and she'd pay for it. me and my friend were in absolute shock because we had never had an encounter with a stranger like that before. we got 2 Dr Pepper truffles 2 Pink Pistol truffles 1 Cookie Monster truffle and 1 Key lime truffle we already ate the Dr pepper ones so there not in the picture and they tasted like a very cherry dr pepper i wish we had got the name of the lady that paid for our candy because i paid for my bsfs stuffed animal dinosaur and i lowkey wanted to name the dino after the lady but anyways, great service, VERY kind people, the ambiance of the place was very nice 10/10

The absolute cutest candy, gift and sweetshop right on the middle of town!…read more You are welcomed the moment you walk in, like walking in and they know you and love that you are here. We went straight to the back of the shop to watch the production kitchen where the gentleman was actually starting a process (what we learned later) of brittle making. Intrigued, and so satisfying to watch. They have free samples peanut brittle and pecan brittle. We both agree that this is some of the best. It's not the "bust you tooth" brittle (meant your candy got too hot), it's the airy, nice crunch, full of flavor, not too sweet, hint of burnt butter brittle. Yes, yes! They nailed it. It's the brittle you start to eat, and boom the package is done. Of course we had to get brittle, and white chocolate covered nuts, too. They sell a variety of sliced pies, milkshakes and cold drinks. I bet this is the place I will be in the summer, especially for ice cream. Their storefront has not been open long, but Grandma Cleda's been making brittle for generations. You can find out more about their story when you visit their shop. Two things they do amazing: they love what they do, and do what they love! Oh and they have fabulous brittle! Love in every bite.
