They had a big guy standing at the door like security. Once we finished shopping and went to pay, they accused of not paying for our food. I had to pull up my bank account on my phone to show them the charge. The whole situation was handled wrong and was embarrassing. The food was fine. The hash brown casserole seemed like it had been there all day though. Waitress was nice and attentive.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating right from the moment we walked in, which I really appreciated. One thing I loved is that we were able to order and pay individually--huge plus when you're dining with a group. I ordered the Country Boy Breakfast with steak tips, 3 eggs cooked any way, 2 sides, and biscuits and gravy. Everything was fabulous, and the portions were huge. I definitely took a lot home! I chose hashbrown casserole for both sides and it did not disappoint. Paying was also really easy with the scan-and-pay option on your phone. On top of that, they're running a special right now where you can buy meals to take home if you order an entrée in the restaurant. I grabbed two meatloaf and mac & cheese meals for my boys, and they were only $6 each--such a great deal. Lastly, I love their little store attached to the restaurant. Holiday items are already 50% off, and they have so many cute things. Overall, this location made our holiday breakfast easy, enjoyable, and delicious. We'll definitely be back!

But thank my…read morelucky stars 'Bisbee Royale' was the only spot I knew of that was open at 8am on a Saturday. The exterior looks like a mix of three attractions: a restaurant, a museum, & a movie theater. I can't say if all three of those things are really in there, it's just an impression. I will say that I am glad I took at chance at trying their food at a time when I was seriously hungry. I was invited to sit wherever I wanted, so I chose a table along the wall with a big TV right above me. I was greeted kindly, and given time to order my food, which I decided would be a couple fried eggs, hashbrowns, sausage patties, toast, & cheesy grits. They were so good, with the hashbrowns being, as my partner put it, "The best he's ever had!" I personally enjoyed the patties the most, and the grits the least. The grits were made in a way that the shredded cheese was sprinkled on top of the grits instead of mixed in it, and I do not prefer that style. It was still good, just not as good as others I've tried. So that's why I'm not docking points; why be super critical on one side dish when everything else was an A+? I liked the wholesome feel of the restaurant, like everybody knew each other, and the fact that it was pet-friendly was a bonus too. A couple came in with three cute dogs, and that just made me super happy (not to mention, it WAS on my birthday too). I would come here again if I return to Bisbee.

The streets were packed, and I had shown up without reservations expecting the worst. I somehow waited less than 10 minutes to be seated, and had my drink order taken right away. Like the menu, the alcohol selection is very safe--comprised of a ton of beers and liquors you've probably already heard of. I opted for a local delicacy--Bisbee Blue G&T. While I'd prefer they take their chances on a limited menu of real cocktails, it was nice having something new you don't really run into outside of a small town. Your choices of food are basically Mexican, sandwiches, burgers, and barbecue. I went with the West Texas Millionaire Burger and it was certainly worth it.You can't go wrong with truffle or sweet potato fries, either. Portions are huge--perfect after you spend a day walking around for miles. The atmosphere feels like you're in a diner, and it's not as flashy or artsy as a lot of places. That's fine. While there's no flagship dish for foodies to rave about, it's quality food in a prime location that anyone can appreciate.

We were the first ones in the building when it opened at 7am. Mitzi, manager and our server, made our breakfast a true dining experience. I had Eggs Florentine, my friend had a blueberry pancake, and her hubby had the Copper Kettle. Food was delicious but the coffee was strong and the sausage gravy way too peppery. However, service and ambiance were top notch. The place was lacking the loud tourist crowd this Monday morning. There were only four table during our hour-long visit. Ever. Pricing is deceptive. Be careful on build-your-owns, and just because you are offered a biscuit instead of toast, doesn't mean it is included with your meal (I was charged extra), and a tiny side of gravy is extra too. The thing that was most surprising is the fact that the floors, walls and ceiling are unbelievably filthy. The wall at the end of the bar is visibly fuzzy at quite a distance. And it's a huge wall. The ceilings are black with grease, and on a Saturday morning the floor looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, if not months. This review applies to the Lowell location. Sounds like they are moving to a new location in Tombstone Canyon. Gone will be the ample free parking. Hopefully they can keep it cleaner. Bottom line? We won't be back.

This outdoor location boasts it all with a restored and unique 1957 Valentine diner of old Americana, an old 1950s style Airstream for a bar (really cool), Dots and Dashes Bar, pretty comfy picnic style seating, swamp coolers to keep you comfortable, wide-open space, an enormous tent to keep you protected from the Arizona sun and a stage for kids to perform and the occasional locals to serenade from. The diner sits at the heart of a classic American trailer court, with a few classic cars, some retro RVs, and even an historic boat. Dining outdoors beneath umbrellas or under a swamp cooler air-conditioned tent, where the retro music and ambient setting creates a dynamic 1950s mood. Their breakfasts are great - and unique. Especially their Pork Belly Breakfast Sammi is fantastic, consisting of a perfectly prepared pork belly, arugula, a sriracha aioli and egg on a brioche bun, as is their Screwdriver - you can actually taste Vodka! My wife had the fab perfectly smoked brisket tacos prepared with an incredible salsa verde, fried egg, queso fresco and black beans. Oh, btw, their home fries are to die for!
