Pro Via door finish is not durable. It has a clear coat on top you cannot fix. Whether it is the…read moredark color but a 13 lb dog jumping up grazed the door and took off the top coat with maybe one rough nail. Pane in the glass offered touch up paint and a email copy from Pro Via stating not covered. But how do you touch up a hairline scratch. So dont count on a smooth door remaining nice looking.This happened the day after install. The installers tried to correct door fitting on the slab and made a special trip for material to prevent water intrusion. The inside of one door the flooring material got ripped on removal of old door. the installers cut a piece of wood that was part of door shipping material to cover it up. My husband says no big deal. Not true to the wife who was locked away with her dogs. I used up my goodwill on the scratch with this company. As an experienced home fixer upper myself I realize things crop up remodeling but they knew this home was slab on grade and should have planned accordingly. And an F to ProVia on durability of their top coat finish. If you are a perfectionist do not get a smooth finish or the Brick red finish. The lighter color screen door so far has not experienced the same fate....yet

glass in the bathroom broke during the really cold stretch of weather. we had someone else give an…read moreestimate which seemed high considering all we did was send a picture and measurements of the window (it's a very small window). read some reviews and decided to give Glass Guru a shot. the person that came out measured everyone and gave us an estimate that is almost $150 less than the first one. we put in half as a deposit. two weeks later, another worker came out, took out the window, put in new glass, and was done in about an hour. I would definitely use Glass Guru again if something like this happens.

By contrast, the 20+ year old windows and sliding door that they did not replace are sealed much better and do not require plastic insulation. The cost of these windows is not commensurate with the poor quality. My anxious parents purchased these windows expressly for energy saving, but the furnace struggles to keep their home up to temp and is on constantly when it drops below zero. The two rooms with Marvin products are 15-20 degrees colder than the rest of the house! Bad design? Poor build quality? Both? Stay away from Marvin products.

We began the order in April 2025 with Windows Unlimited of Belmont CA on May 12, 2025. They've been nice but ineffective and not proactive to get to resolution. At this rate, my window project may not be complete until summer of 2026 - never expected a year of hassling and failures on a small job. The office window 1) opening was measured incorrectly (how does this happen?) 2) new window actually damaged upon delivery to the installer-- so another window ordered and installed The bedroom window 1) installed and promptly failed with moisture seeping in. 2) replacement installed Nov 6th after MANY follow ups and me chasing for service. 3) window fails again in December. reported the issue in December - silence Raise the flag again in January 2026 - email responses, finally now in limbo as there is production time and scheduling of Ezekiel the installer (who seems overbooked as my guess is that Marvin products fail 9 out of 10 times) Wlll definitely try Milgard or any other provider. Please blacklist this firm and share with friends/family.

To start: Working with Signature has been by far the *best* experience I have had in my time…read moreworking with contractors--from start to finish!!!! A bit detail: When I started the roof project, I finally had about $6,000 saved (so proud). I went on yelp to select three contractors and called them. Of the three, only Signature immediately returned my call. I scheduled for the week, and Jesse Martin came over to discuss the project and Signatures product. Jesse was on time (a trend he continued) and was MOST, MOST professional--tremendous communicator. He was calm, friendly, patient, and made sure to not give me the hard sell. Most important, he said we should put in a claim to the insurance to see whether my roof has been damaged. We started the insurance process and Chris (Signature's project manager) and Jesse were at my house an hour prior to my insurance adjuster. Chris got on the roof and chalked every spot that was damaged. It turned out to be quite a bit. Once my adjuster came, they both went on the roof again and discussed. The process was incredibly thorough and took about 2 hours. I was amazingly impressed with Chris and Jesse and how professionally they interacted with the insurance adjuster. Turns out my roof had significant damage and Signature began the process of working with my insurance. Jesse, who was my main contact via text and phone, told me to let Signature manage the approval process and project. I did. Here, I was so, so impressed with the thoroughness and immediate communication. Jesse always kept me in the loop, was incredibly responsive to my questions, and was just present. We needed to dismount my AC as well; again, Jesse worked with my HVAC person and my insurance to get that added. Just absolutely fantastic!!!! Once we scheduled the roof replacement, the crew of 5 (or 6) were at my house 6:45a SHARP. The old roof was off by 8 and the new roof was on by 5 when I came back home. The crew was AWESOME!!!! Super friendly. I got them a round of donuts and gave them $100.00 for lunch. Nicest, nicest people. Since then (about 6 weeks) I found MAYBE 5 nails. Clean-up was amazing. The last step was to get my insurance check to Signature. That took a bit because my mortgage company needed to endorse it. That process took about 6 weeks; that is how long Signature needed to wait for its money. Here again, I worked wit Nikki, who was super, super patient. I checked in with her regularly, and she was very kind and understanding. I really, really, really appreciated it. All in all, the entire Signature crew--the actual roofers, Jesse, Chris, Nikki--blew my gasket: each and every one of them were professional, respectful, and experienced--and most of all, extremely, extremely reliable and always on time. I never once felt ignored. I actually recommended Signature to my neighbors and they got approved as well. Signature gave me a little thank you with a $100.00 off. Oh yeah...and the roof looks amazing!!!! Love you guys!!! You are amazing!!!!

Also told them of the wall outlet that doesn't work and the person I talked to said he would look at it while he was here. Well, another worker showed up, didn't know anything about the outlet and it took 4 hours to replace the tile. I didn't check the tile until after the worker left as they had been often I figured they could at least get the color right. I cannot express enough how difficult it has been to work with thia company and would not recommend them to anyone.
