I was…read morehappily greeted by a few employees as I browsed around the enormous store, which gave an inviting, welcoming atmosphere. I felt like I was in a super-sized Pier 1 wandering through the come-to-life pages of Better Homes & Garden. I admit it was overwhelming as I did not come with a specific agenda. They had many items on sale and I was able to pick up a few small home decor items at reasonable prices. I saw a sign explaining how Paul Michael uses locally harvested wood, reclaimed architectural elements and upcycled materials in Dermott, AR- woohoo for going local! I admired a few gorgeous tables, which exhibited great care and impeccable craftsmanship. If you are tired of shopping at the same big box stores and want to add some quality, carefully crafted items to add to your home, I would recommend checking out Paul Michael Company for some different perspectives. If you are into antiques or the other stuff you might find there, and aren't stupid, save a wad and try Bonnie and Clydes Trade days or the Canton market or any other local flea market. You'll find more stuff to love at much, much better prices.

I had never been here before, despite hearing about Hobby Lobby for what seems like eternity. As a…read morecraft junkie, I imagined it just like Michaels. However, it is not. Hobby Lobby is a mix between Michaels craft store and World Market and Pier 1. It has fancy furniture for purchase, tons of kitschy decorations, and the occasional crafting project spewed about. I came here to make a "coffee station" I had seen on pinterest, but to my surprise the metal basket that hangs above the furniture, not even the coffee cart itself, just the basket thingy was $99! I nearly panicked and abandoned my project altogether, instead refurbishing and cleaning off my kitchen counter to make better utilization of my space for coffee needs. Hobby Lobby is the kind of place you LOVE to window-shop, and perhaps buy things that are super expensive, or if you are lucky and on sale, maybe to get ideas or abandon them as I did. I do want to go back. I think that it expanded my idea of crafting, as they have so much furniture and decor too. I'm pretty sure they have coupons too, I hope.

Talk about extraordinary customer service!! On 06/15/2016 in preparation for a gender reveal…read morescheduled for 06/16/2016 I went to this store to purchase a gender reveal balloon. The price was perfect and the stock plentiful. The reveal was scheduled to go off for 6:00 PM. At 5:50, I removed the balloon from my car and promptly let it go! I panicked! Guest looking at the balloon float away and me deflated. I immediately called the store. They close at 6!! I told the wonderful lady what happened and that the parents and guests were waiting. This wonderful lady said,"don't worry, I'll wait until you get here." People she waited!! She was just as nice to me "after hours" as she had been the day before! Need party supplies, good prices and outstanding customer service, this is the place!! They saved the day!!!
