The appetizer that was brought to me to nibble on was a derivative of Palmetto Cheese or as I lnow it as Pimento Cheese

I am writing this review while drinking my coffee sitting in this establishment. Environment- This restaurant is themed with a Country and Western motif. The walls and surrounding decor along with music screams Cowboys and Cowgirls. Food Experience- there are only 2 reviewers prior to my post. The menu is brief in selection and straight to the point. They offer breakfast lunch, and dinner suggestions. I ordered shrimp, sweet potato fries, sweet potato pie, coffee and sweet tea. The shrimp were tasty golden brown. The fries were real cut and sweet! The tea was nice, cool, and sweet. The pie was ok. It wasn't horrid, but I felt it was bland and needed to be baked more for firmness. The overall content of this establishment is warm, and genuine in Southern Hospitality. It is worth visiting and trying new options.

Pops is awesome for the area. Great for everyone, nice staff, food is pretty good. This is a common stop for me when I am in this area.

I'm here about once a week, and consistently get good food. Occasionally I'll call for takeout, and pick it up in the drive-thru, but usually we eat inside. The servers and cooks are always nice, and always make sure that we have exactly what we need. Their hamburgers are excellent, and definitely my favorite burger in town. The popcorn shrimp and chicken fingers are great, too, and the club sandwich is amazing. A lot of people order from the buffet that they have for breakfast mon-sat, and lunch/dinner mon-sun. I've had that a couple of times as well, and all of the items are always tasty and fresh.

Traveling and passing through sylvania - Pops was the only place open so we had low hopes- But it was great! Great BBQ and fried chicken - Hit the southern spot!

Very hospitable. Food is great! Except mac and cheese. Prices are the most reasonable in town.

Pops Kitchen has the best food in Sylvania Georgia. They also have the best prices around.

OMG the food! We picked this restaurant based on yelp reviews and we're so happy we did.my fried…read moreoysters/fried scallops platter with fries and side salad was incredible - oysters and scallops were PERFECTLY cooked (I order both of these on the regular and I know how easy it is to overcook them. Elsewhere, they're usually sadness food), fries were fresh ant hot, salad was super fresh. DH's Cobb salad was excellent as well - he specifically said that the shrimp was perfect (again, shrimp are easy to overcook) and the chicken (white meat) was tender and juicy. The atmosphere is brightly lit, with lots of fun funky signs. You order at the counter and they'll bring it to your table if you dine in. Soda, a few beer and wine choices (although they only had 1 wine available). Super lovely, friendly staff too. They were gracious when I asked for extra takeout boxes and didn't even charge me. Wheelchair accessible (I use a chair) but be aware that the bathroom is tight- doable, but on the smaller side. Due to the age of the building, it's a retrofit that did the best it could. I've been in much worse, in newer buildings. Prices were amazingly reasonable. 10/10 recommend, and if we're ever in that area again, we'll seek it out.
