The Memphis Double Cheeseburger had everything you could want in a great burger--freshly ground beef, crispy toppings, and plenty of flavor in every bite. My burger was so fresh and hot that I actually had to let it cool for a couple of minutes before I could dig in. But once I started eating, it didn't take long to completely devour that sandwich! I highly recommend Chile Verde if you're looking for a seriously good burger. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu. This place is definitely worth the stop!

This looks like the first franchise maybe. Need to read up on them. The wait is over now though! It looks just like the other one on the inside with bright colorful logos and beautiful pictures of fried chicken. I've been to the KCC on Stage many times but it's really out of the way for me. I need a reason to be in the area other than fried chicken. I do love fried chicken but an hour round trip drive for lunch is tough. My fish store is around the corner from this place so I now have new Bartlett food options. Yay! I stopped in eager to try their tasty chicken. It did not disappoint! They cooked it to order as it seems they do with every guest. They wait is 15 mins or more but it's so worth it! My chicken was steaming so bad you can see it on video. I love this fried chicken!! It's got a particular spice involved that I am not familiar with and cannot place it. I know that I love it though! It's so crunchy and still light. Great job!! Just lovely I wished the sides were better. They offer several but I haven't had one that I liked yet honestly. The Mac has changed a lot but has never been good. The mashed potatoes are weird with little uniform potato cubes in them. No on the slaw for me. The fries are the safest bet in my opinion. The meals are super cheap though and they all come with a cookie and a drink, so there is that. I usually just throw away the cookie. It's trash. Next time I will tell them to keep it. You get 2, 3, or 4, etc pieces and can name the pieces you want for no charge (I think). If you tried 4 breast they may balk at that, not sure. Solid place that will be on my regular rotation from here on out. I may just start buying the chicken in bulk and just eating it. I think I will be happier that way. '25 - 52/111

I ordered the kung pao chicken & waffle, which sounds right up my alley given I love chicken and waffles and I love kung pao chicken! The chicken was of good quality, but the sauce wasn't very kung pao-y, more like smoky soy sauce, and the waffle was incredibly tough and chewy and impossible to cut with the plasticware they had. Even using metal fork and knife it was difficult. I'm assuming the waffle had been frozen, so I guess that's the quality to expect. I don't anticipate returning here, but I think if they improve their quality, it'll be a really great brunchin' or lunchin' area.

Our sandwich and brat were pretty tasty. But overall the experience probably needs to be improved. The restaurant is kinda unfinished- still vestiges of the previous owner. There was only one person working there which means the restaurant won't ever be as clean as you want it to be... And foodwise- what you can get away with as a food truck- you're gonna have to refine as a sit down spot. The sandwich should be made better, more meat, less bread... we expected more. I normally don't leave reviews, but what happened today absolutely needs to be shared…read more Today (October 10, 2025) at Germantown High School, I ordered a steak rice bowl in a taco salad shell. I clearly requested only steak, rice, shredded cheese, grilled onions, and grilled peppers -- no lettuce, tomatoes, beans, sour cream, or queso. When I got my order, it had lettuce in it, but I decided to eat around it since I was back in my building teaching. While eating, I choked on a piece of the steak -- it was extremely tough and overcooked. I eat steak often, and this was not normal. I began choking in front of my students, and they had to help me. It was terrifying for all of us. When I walked back to the food truck to let them know what happened and to ask for a refund, the owner was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. Instead of showing concern or remorse, he argued with me and refused to give a refund. Only after I started recording did they offer to remake the order, but by then, I had lost all trust and gave the food away to a colleague. This experience was unprofessional, unsafe, and deeply disappointing, especially considering that they were serving at a school. I've supported this food truck many times before, but after today, I can't recommend them to anyone. A little accountability and empathy would have gone a long way.
