All the breakfast dishes we ordered were delicious! The service was even better. Evi was attentive and really made our breakfast experience quite lovely! The halal beef options added to the great experience! Great setting with indoor and outdoor seating on a quiet street.

Popina's Ranchos with lime guacamole - amazing!

Wonderful little bistro. We came for breakfast and we're throughly impressed. Great food, ambience and friendly service. Relaxing music playing as well. Just an excellent meal with fresh ingredients and a unique style.

Highly recommend for breakfast and coffee. The green shakshuka with raclette was incredible. This is a very small cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly service.

Shakshuka. Ask for eggs over easy if you like it to run a little. You can also ask for melted cheese on top if you like it extra cheesy.

If I could this place 10 stars I would. Shakshuka was 10/10 and that brioche with Nutella strawberry and bananas was the cherry on top! Def. Coming back next time I'm in London

Super cute little cafe we came to for breakfast!! The space is super cozy and nice inside and when we went at around 9am, we were the only customers in their making it an even more enjoyable experience. I got the Turkish eggs dish and thought the bread was delicious-- but wasn't the biggest fan of the poached eggs and sauce/yogurt dressing. Coffee was yummy and servers were all super nice. Definitely a great place to stop by in

We opted out of our hotel breakfast two days in a row to have breakfast here instead! Loved the English breakfast (halal version) & the shakshuka! They had great espresso as well & the staff was super friendly

Came to Arome after hearing lots of great things online and it did not disappoint! My only regret…read moreis I wish I had more people with me or I wish I was hungrier cuz I really wanted to order ALLLL the pastries! My husband and I decided to try for a table and we ended up waiting about 45 min - 1 hour to sit. There was a super short line for to-go pastries (and sometimes there was no line), so if you're pressed for time, definitely do that! I love how the Arome workers help move the line along and help people in line find tables. Also speaking of Arome, the AROMA was fantastic! It smelled to buttery and fantastic both inside and while waiting in line. I ended up trying: the iconic Honey Butter Toast, Black Sesame Mochi Cookie, and Almond and Chocolate Croissant, a Savory Croissant (I think Sausage and Cheese), a Chai, and a Matcha. Everything was SO GOOD. All the pastries were amazing. I'm glad we got a mix of sweet and savory things. Everything we had was buttery, flaky, intentional, and made with love. What you'll like the most will depend on your personal flavor preferences! Definitely give this place a try!

Arome produced pastries both beautiful and divine!…read more On the recommendation of friends, we made a stop by here for a Monday breakfast. According to their website, they deliver "European excellence with Asian flair" which is really a great way to describe their pastries and the experience! Definitely the quality that you would expect with some of those Asian flavors. Here is what we tried: Chocolate Pistachio Escargot (5/5): Shaped in a snail shell, in between the flaky layers of pastry were luscious chocolate sprinkled with pistachio for nutty texture. Really enjoyed this one! Honey Butter Toast (4/5): Touted as their signature, I had high expectations for this. It is exactly as described which that slightly sweetness from the honey in a perfectly toasted milk bread. I did enjoy this a lot but also felt like it would benefit by having something else for texture or contrast. Chicken Butter Croissant (4/5): The croissant had the nice flaky layer with chewy interior. I loved the savory chicken sausage with the slightly sweet soy glaze that provided nice contrast and that Asian twist. When we got there a little after opening, there was no line but all the seats were taken as the place is quite limited on seats. While we were asked to wait for a little a bit outside, we did not have to wait too long. However, the line did end up getting longer as we were leaving and some ended up eating outside. Overall, if you are interested in tasting some tasty pastries, I would recommend Arome!

Mmmmm......Donuts! (Said in the voice of Homer Simpson.)…read more They do donuts so righteous here. As we were walking around Borough Market we saw the line for Bread Ahead and realized it was for the donut stand they had outside along the street. We had to jump on line and drool over the display of sugary goodness. We each tried a different donut and was not disappointed! So many varieties to choose from - coconut, lemon curd, blackcurrant cheesecake, seasalt caramel and honeycomb, and others. They don't skimp on the fillings as each bite was flavorful. Yum!

I'd reccomend checking out the bakery as this is where the fresh goodies are made and you're more likely to get the fresh batch here. Price wise, it's a bit steep. At 5£ per donut and 6.50£ for a piece of focaccia. But you're in a tourist area so high prices should be expected. We opted for the cheese focaccia that came right out from the oven. For 6£, it's not bad. It's pretty sizable and a good shareable snack! It's a good crusty bread and had a subtle garlic flavor with a blend of stringy cheese. If you like cheesy garlic bread, this is for you! Out of all the snacks you could get in the borough market, this is a solid option! But I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
