    Chicken tender sandwich??
    LaurieAnn N.

Well, this was the worst Popeyes experience we have ever had. From the service to the food, it was horrendous. I placed a mobile order 15 minutes ahead of my arrival: 3 chicken sandwiches (2 spicy, 1 hattie, both with extra pickles), 6 spicy tenders, 2 fries, 2 biscuits, 2 cheesecake pies. Upon arrival inside the restaurant, my order wasn't ready for pickup. A team member was *very* confused that I placed a mobile order and struggled to find it. Eventually he did. As he filled the order, he told us he had none of the pies and couldn't credit us because it was an online order. I would have to contact corporate to get a refund. Great. Why was I able to order it if it wasn't available? The entire staff was very young, with no visible leader / supervisor to keep things on track. Many seemed confused, not sure what to do, etc. One employee was just moving fries around on the tray, but not filling orders with them. It was strange. Once we tasted our food, we were disgusted. We love Popeyes, but this food was terrible. Everything was very greasy and tasted like it had been sitting around for a long time. The fries were stuck together in clumps, the tenders were so greasy they left a film in our mouths, the edges of the buns were stale, and nothing was hot. The spicy chicken sandwiches were made with small chicken tenders (see photo) and the new "spicy" hattie sauce tasted like Chinese takeout duck sauce. Absolutely no heat, runny, and sticky. Gross. We are big Popeyes fans and were excited to stop in on our way home from vacation, only to be completely disappointed. Where are the brand standards?? Zero stars from us. Don't go here.

Our chicken was tender inside, perfectly crispy outside, mashed potatoes and gravy melted in our mouths, and our scrumptious meal included delightfully fresh hot biscuits.

When I say that I probably have 5 lb of pasta on my plate, I am not lying or exaggerating. The meatballs takes like a mix of veal or pork and beef - delicious. Meaty but not heavy. The pasta sauce was a little spicy but nothing mouth scorching. Again delicious. My friends got the grilled tilapia and there's probably three very large pieces of tilapia served with a lemon wedge and another side of angel hair pasta, again at least a pound of pasta in the side. They had the French onion soup, a hearty very beefy based soup with a giant slab of cheese on the top. My friends loved it. My other friends had the pork cutlet which was a hammered piece of pork lightly fried, and the size of a dinner plate served with a side of beef gravy, and also a side of angel hair pasta. Portions are ridiculous and I'm from the south I know huge portions. Lol If you come here though don't come in a hurry, as the staff is very busy. I didn't get her name but she was the only one working the floor. Efficient, direct and friendly. If you leave hungry it is your fault. Enjoy!

We started with a couple of appetizers, the house made potato chips and the Damon's sampler, which were both tasty. For dinner we ordered steak kabob and quesadilla. The food came out quickly, was hot and tasted good. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and server took good care of us throughout the meal. Overall, solid choice if you are looking for good food, a fun vibe and a place to catch a game. Must try wings with Damon's sauce.

Ordered a Philly with fries and a side of mac and cheese. The "fresh cut fries" came out cold, limp, and soggy like they'd been sitting around all day. The mac and cheese was cold too, but somehow the container was hot... so yeah, clearly microwaved. Sent it back. The mac came out barely warmer (still mid at best), and I only ate it because I was starving. The fries finally came back hot--but now they were drenched in grease and still terrible. So either cold and soggy or hot and oily... pick your struggle. Then the manager, Lisa, comes out yelling about how they're "fresh cut fries." Ma'am, fresh cut doesn't mean inedible. You can scream "fresh" all you want, it doesn't fix bad food. Jen deserves a raise. Lisa needs a reality check and probably shouldn't be managing anything involving customers. Save your money. Seriously.

We ate at a small square table with 2 chairs looking out a front window onto the street. We were here during happy hour (5-7 pm Sunday evening). For $4 each, we enjoyed a Sangria--one peach and the other a blueberry lavender. Both were so refreshing! We shared a 1 pound bowl of littleneck clams. The clams were perfectly cooked and served in a scampi lemon-garlic-cheese broth. Wedges of garlic bread accompanied the dish. We ate every scrumptious tender clam and scooped every bit of broth. We drenched our garlic bread wedges in broth, too. Luckily for the establishment, we didn't have to loudly slurp! We are looking forward to returning and enjoying the homemade artichoke dip. We were too full tonight to order another dish. We will be back! Friendly staff and customers are found here!
