The food was absolutely amazing I will be going again no matter how the service is. The lady in the drive thru handed me my drink w/o speaking, okaaay. I say thank you and as she proceeded to close the window I asked "can I have a straw"? She said "huh" she sounded very offensive. I again thank her, she closes the window. Minutes later hands me my food and closed the window, I'm not sure if she even heard my thank you again. It was my first time eating at any Popeyes. I know all the workers aren't like her but sheesh what a first impression. read more

After coming to pick up my order and driving 30 minutes home in traffic, I had realized that my sandwich was missing along with many other items wrong in my order. After calling I was told that I had to come in to show my receipt and that I could receive a credit for my sandwich back. After all of my food is now cold. I then came in and was told after requesting a refund that I had to go through the app to be taken care of after going through the worst online chat system. What's ridiculous is that when I asked for a refund, I was told that if I went into the app and asked for a refund, it would give them a bad review for the store and that it was not appreciated. Seems bad manners to tell someone asking for proper service is not "appreciated". Customer service interactions here leave much to be desired. Will not be supporting this location any further and I contacted corporate for my refund after my experience. read more

Ordered on Grubhub. 5 pierce tenders combo, 2 piece leg and thigh combo and a coleslaw. Total with tip was $24. The 2 piece came as a breast and thigh. Popeyes doubled the price of everything after the order was placed so I ended up paying $40. These people are thieves and should not be in our community. When I called and asked why the price was suddenly higher the guy is going to tell me I'm paying a delivery fee? As if Grubhub isn't the one to set fees. So I asked my friend to pick up some fried chicken. I said go to either Popeyes or KFC they are both near Fox Run. Well I am never going back to this Popeyes! My friends got a 4 piece thigh box and 2 deals of 6 tenders two small side and two biscuits. Before looking at anything she couldn't find the fries so she had to go back to the store to get those. I looked at the thighs and was really ticked there were four thighs alright, but they were so small and dry that the one I i was able to eat was two bites! A thigh was only two bites. When I my friend came back with her fries she looked at the tenders and was severly disappointed also. I usually go to Popeyes up by the Entemannes on route 13. Their food is always juicy and satisfying. I will not be back to this Popeyes on 40 near Fox Run. read more

With everything that's going on, only the drive thru service is available. I don't know if that's a blessing or a curse. But I do know, the order that I placed was not the order that I received. Sadly, I didn't check my order before I got home. More and more, I'm noticing that the workers in Popeyes' don't know the pieces of chicken. They don't know that the thigh is smaller than the breast. I asked for the 11 piece special, mild with no breast. I received an 11 piece special with 4 large spicy breast. I was too far to go back. Anyway, my Coke soda was good and cold. Order #19; Popeyes #11939... My second time there (5/24/2020). I'm done! First time was on them and this time was on me. This is my second time trying the chicken sandwich. The line wasn't out the door like the first time I tried it... and I know why. Because this location is terrible. I think they put a chicken finger in my sandwich, instead of the regular chicken breast. Because it was so tiny....Who knows what goes on in these fast food places. The bun was all smashed down and flat. It literally had one drop of mayonnaise, and the chicken itself was salty and very very small. What a disappointment. Pathetic actually. Service has always been great for me, the counter employees are always nice. But there's always something 'missing'. No tenders one day, no sauce that's supposed to come with a special chicken the next time, the Coke Freestyle Machine is missing 75% of the flavors. Or it runs out while you're getting a drink. After that, we had to email the Popeyes customer service to get our money back. Now it seems they don't even accept any pickup order through any online method. Decided to do a taste test CHECKERS aka RALLY'S, CHICK-FIL-A, and well ... POPEYES'. I wanted to see who had the best spicy chicken sandwich. Since Saturday I have not been able to get a spicy chicken sandwich from Popeyes'. Apparently their business models don't seem to prepare them for continuous crowds. You would think that by Tuesday they would have enough sense to order much larger inventories, but alas no they still keep running out. So that being said I went ahead with taste test. While CHICK-FIL-A was the clear winner, don't count out CHECKER'S. Their sandwich was quite yummy and had cheese on it. Although CHICK-FIL-A is sometimes know for their religious influence and can come off quite homophobic at times, they do know how to keep a business running smoothly no matter how large of a crowd packs into their drive thru. They also almost never run out of a specific food item, POPEYES still has a lot to learn! read more

It's so disappointing that I have to write this, but this particular Popeyes just does not deserve your business. There's another one about 10 minutes away. Go there. I have visited this Popeyes over a dozen times this year and usually things were fine. Last week I visited the store for Blackened Chicken Tenders, which are very good and very good for my current diet. In the parking lot, I loaded up the Popeyes APP on my phone to see if there were any "deals". I can't post pictures on this review so I'll type exactly what the coupon said... $7.99 PLUS TAX 5PCS Chicken or Tenders. 2 Regular Sides and 2 Biscuits. (then the fine print at the bottom) One per customer. No substitutions. Not valid on delivery or with other coupons or offers. (there's more about what states it's not valid it but not relevant here) I went inside and asked how much 5 chicken tenders are and the cashier pointed me towards special #3 (or 4) which was 5 tenders, a side, biscuit and a drink for $9.75 (or something around there). I said, ok, nevermind - I have a coupon for 5 tenders (and sides, etc.) and I'd like to use that. I'd like the Blackened tenders. The cashier said "you can't use a coupon on blackened tenders - you have to get #3". I asked him to show me where on the coupon it specified that, and he said - it's our policy. I asked for the manager. He was not interested in helping me at all. I asked him to show me where on the coupon it says no blackened tenders and he said "it's our policy". A couple things I feel the need to point out... 1) It's not the money. I can afford the extra $2. It's the principle. 2) You might say - well it says no substitutions - but to that I say... Blackened tenders are the same price as the regular breaded tenders. Also, with this coupon I could have ordered mild chicken or spicy chicken. It doesn't specify WHICH TYPE OF CHICKEN the coupon is for, just as it doesn't specify WHICH TYPE OF TENDERS. If they want to disallow the blackened tenders then JUST PUT IT ON YOUR COUPON with all the other voids and policies) 3) I am in the food business and you simply don't treat customers that way. 4) I called the Popeyes customer service number and while on hold for 45 minutes (not an exaggeration) I also sent the customer service department an email through their website. In both instances I asked for a reply, for someone to call me back and explain to me why my coupon from THEIR APP wasn't valid. The customer service rep on the phone asked if I wanted to be contacted. Their online form asked if I wanted to be contacted. I said yes to both. That was a week ago - I still have not received a call or email response. Popeyes is getting great publicity now about their overrated chicken sandwich - It's good, but Chick Fila is still better - but I was a good customer for them, especially since I started this diet. It's really stupid to lose a customer over something as trivial as this and I really do hope to get that response from someone who can explain to me why I was treated so poorly. The Popeyes May look new and draw you in but don't trust them. I went here purchased food. I went through the drive through pretty fast. When I got to the widow and paid my order was ready. I was handed a large bag so I asked the gentleman if everything is in the bag. He said yes, and for some strange reason I trusted him even as my intuition said no the fries are problem cold you got tour order to fast. I proceeded home with is 4 miles away. I'm distributing the food and my son says where is my chicken sandwich and the fries are really cold. I said look in the bag son. We looked and it was not there. I called the number on the receipt 302-365-5066. No answer just rings until the operator comes on and disconnect. I did this 5 times. I drive bag to the Popeyes and go inside, I explain that I want to talk to the manager. The manger who resembles older Oscar De'lahoya. I explained I asked the gentleman at the widow was everything in my bag and he said yes, the man peeps around the corner and I asked him remember I asked if everything was in there and you assured me it was. So the manager looks at my receipt and says I packed your bag, I said so you did not place the sandwich in the bag. I said I tried to call here several times and the phones just rings. He said the phone is locked in the office and no ones is in there. I explain I pissed that I have to drive back here to get my son's sandwich which is a huge inconvenience. I went there today to try their new famous spicy chicken sandwich. I was very disappointed when I got home and sat down to eat my sandwich. Not only did it lack flavor, but the piece of chicken they gave me was flat and small, which was a huge departure from other photos i've seen of these sandwiches from patrons around the country. I normally wouldn't take time from my busy schedule to write a review, but I need to get this off of my chest. This Popeyes location's chicken sandwich is the issue. The chicken sandwich is supposed to be big and juicy with adequate sauce or mayo and two pickles. The two times that I have gotten chicken sandwiches from this location, I've been very disappointed. I have ordered a total of eight chicken sandwiches from this location and the chicken breast on the sandwich has always been small. The thing that makes Popeyes Chicken sandwich so good and better than other locations is the flavor and the size. I have no issue with the flavor but the size of the sandwich is subpar. I thought that maybe what I saw on tv and YouTube were gross exaggerations but I went to another Popeyes and the chicken was the correct size and it made for a much better experience eating the sandwich. I believe this location is cutting the chicken breast in half to double their profits on the chicken sandwich! I have given this location two chances to get the chicken sandwich right and they failed both times. Their regular chicken pieces , I haven't had an issue with so far but I can no longer get my chicken sandwiches from this location. I've had what the the Popeyes chicken is supposed to be and this location does not cut the mustard. Their attempt to save money at this location is going to cost them a lot of customers. I'm a sucker for red beans and rice, even the fast food kind, so I was happy enough that Popeyes announced they were building on a vacant lot in Bear. After an all day Saturday project at the house, we decided to get take out. Salads from Saladworks (excellent) and chicken from Popeyes (not so much). Son in law got the spicy chicken tenders, his usual meal, which were what he expected. For the rest of us, I bought a 12 piece meal. It's a little tough feeding the family with a 12 piece meal that consisted of 6 wings, 2 drumsticks, 0 thighs, two decent sized breasts, 1 tiny, dry, inedible something that resembled a chicken tender and 1 -- are you ready for this? -- set of rib bones with breading. You read that right. Bones and breading with no meat. The sides...red beans & rice, Cole slaw and biscuits... were fine. But no one in my family was willing to dine on bones. What's even sadder is that I contacted Popeye's, in writing, giving them the specifics and the opportunity to make it right. Heck, even an apology would be better than nothing... Which is what we got. Nothing. So there you are. I may need them if I want fast red beans and rice, but for chicken, that location is surrounded by plenty of options: Buffalo Wild Wings, New York Fried Chicken, KFC... Received shrimp, that could have been a #12 with something in the ox that resembled shrimp bits, or something fried that were not shrimp , no side, just big mess, no spork, guess I did not need one as I did not received my side or a receipt. Whatever you do, do not go here on a Sunday night at 8pm. Apparently their food truck delivery is on Monday. So, when I went Sunday night they were pretty much out of everything. I've been going to this popeyes since it opened up. Love the food! The service is okay. I seem to NEVER get my extra biscuit I order or the sauce I ask for everytime when I order. Everytime. I have to go back through the drive thru. Sometimes I just give up and go home. Who wants to eat dry chicken? It should be a given to get sauce. Not happy about this popeyes at all.
