I'd give zero stars if possible. I live 45 minutes away so I didn't see they messed my order up until I got home. I wouldn't have thought it since the lady asked me 5 times about me ordering a blacken chicken #2. My receipt says blackened chicken. The package on the chicken sandwich has a sticker that says blackened chicken sandwich but I received a regular fried chicken sandwich. When I called the store to complain, the lady told me that she didn't speak much, English and a manager wouldn't be in until 12 so I told her what happened. She couldn't understand very well then I heard her telling a man named Thomas to say he was a manager, and was talking about me about my order and everything to him saying incorrect information that I didn't say and to tell me that he was a manager, so he gets on the phone he then tells me, after I tell him everything that they can't do refunds and he's only the kitchen manager that she's actually the general manager and then he hangs up the phone on me. I call back no one answers. I wait someone finally answers the phone and I said you hung up on me and I said well then I need the number or the name of her manager so I can speak with somebody I just wanna be refunded for what I paid for. I paid with a credit card. He then proceeds to hang up on me again and then when I call back, they don't answer the phone, horrible customer service and still can't get orders correct and that's not a way to treat customers by hanging the phone up on them when they're in the wrong. Nowhere was I yelling or screaming or cursing or anything that would've displayed a behavior that I needed the phone hung up on me, I simply just asked for her manager's phone number. read more

I would give it zero stars if I could! This place is ran by immature teenagers who care less about their jobs clearly. Our order was missing half of the items after spending $35 here and had to return to the store to get the missing items only to be locked out(returned within 5 minutes). The people taking their order pay no attention to what your saying, ring up the wrong items, you correct them to have it right on the screen only to be missing half of your food. I saw these employees give attitude to every last patron including another gentlemen who had already been there 20 min and paid to then be told they were out of that now. I saw every person dining in come to the counter missing things or things incorrect. This place desperately needs new management and retraining of their employees!!! I won't be returning! read more

I ordered wings thinking I was getting regular garlic parm wings. They came as HOT WINGS with nasty thick garic parm sauce like dressing on top of them. Like someone took buffalo wings and poured ranch dressing on them so now they are not only spicy but soggy too. When I went back in to complain, they asked me for the chicken back (EWW), had unclean habits while I was watching (dropping food on the counter and not throwing it away, putting cups from customers back on the shelf etc), and to top it all off, the manager couldn't speak English! I was then charged $30 for my meal to replace the last and had to wait a half a hour to have them make the wings. I settled for 8 boneless fingers just to get out of there. Only been to a Popeyes once in NJ. I dont remember the lively music. Their menu was upside down on the screen so I didnt know how and what to order. Otherwise I figured it out online. For whatever reason the 8 tenders would take 5 minutes which the person apologized for. She seemed like a managerial position, didnt catch her name, but she was attentive and generous. She even gave us waters while we waited. I was totally surprised by the gesture and hospitality. It took more than the 5 minutes and added more than what we ordered which was fine by us. I like that they delver now, however, when I received my order, it wasn't correct. I double checked the receipt on the app and the receipt on the bag. Sure enough, they both showed that I had a certain order. What I received was nowhere near what I had actually orders. This location consistently sucks! I try not to leave bad reviews because I'm very understanding that mistakes are going to happen from time to time. However, it seems they go out of their way to mess orders up or just give out gross food altogether. If the chicken, fries and even the biscuits aren't gross, it's the ridiculous wait time in line. It's usually a long wait to get to the intercom, then a wait for someone to take your order, then a wait to get your food. I advise to only be semi- hungry when going here. Then ALWAYS check your food before pulling off because chances are it may not be correct. The last time I went for a early lunch, right after opening. I thought maybe food would be hot and fresh and a better experience at opening. NOPE...the place opened at 10, I arrived at 10:18 and was told they wouldn't have ANY "product" for 30 mins. (my face). I have been to this location twice. This is without doubt, the worst Popeye's I have ever been to. The wait from getting in the drive-through line to getting to the window is 45 min to one hour. And that is if they even have what you ordered. The staff just does not care. The kicker is that they sell chicken but they do not have any, or at least the parts you want. There is always a wait. Once can be written off as a bad day, twice is a trend, three times is a pattern, but I stopped at two. I didn't even bother to try to talk to a manager. The employees attitude will usually reflect that of their boss, so no time wasted there. I will never hit this place again. Bush's chicken rocks, as does Chicken Express.
