Unprofessional Management & Poor Customer Service I have been a loyal customer of Popeyes at 360 Baychester Avenue, but my recent experiences have been extremely disappointing. On a previous visit, I ordered a 10-piece regular chicken meal and requested a mix of pieces, but instead received 10 legs. Since it was too late too return, I decided to bring it to the attention of the manager, Erica, on my next visit--not to ask for compensation, but simply to share my concern. Unfortunately, the supervisor, Erica was rude, dismissive, and condescending. Instead of listening, she made me feel as though my complaint was insignificant. I then reached out to the general manager to express my concerns, only to be dismissed again--she downplayed the issue, yet apologized for the experience and offered a chicken meal, but I felt she wasn't truly genuine. and made it clear that she didn't care about the poor customer service I experienced. I wasn't asking for free food--I just wanted to bring attention to the unprofessional behavior of the staff. I understand we live in a busy area, but that is no excuse for rudeness, especially when people are spending their hard-earned money at this establishment. Customers should be treated with respect, not disregard. This experience has made me rethink returning to this location, and I hope corporate and the franchise owner address this ongoing issue. The store was shutdown by the health department! Reopened and claim to have new management but it's a lie. It's the same managers in charge. My first visit back I found a roch just hanging around the lobby. I order a 3pc tenders with fries. My fries were cold, I asked to change them and a lady named Erica ( a manager who was also there when they got shutdown for health violations) sucked her teeth and claimed I did not know what I was talking about. She also refused to give me new fries. This place is lying to you guys don't waste your money here! If you been to this location before the renovations you would see it's the same exact management! Mom ordered the Cajun Popeyes turkey by paying a mandatory $30 deposit in advance on November 6th. You must keep your receipt in order to pick it up otherwise they will not release it to you; no exemptions. There was no waiting time when ordering or picking it up. The employees in the store were very nice and told her basic instructions on what to do re; thawing and cooking. She picked it up by paying her $30 balance with no problem and was given cooking instructions in writing as well. 72 hours to thaw and then refrigerate until Turkey Day. The instructions say to cook it on 350° and to use the juice in the bag which I did but I sprayed the bird with butter, added "some" chicken broth to the juice and some carrots to your liking in the bottom of the roaster pan. We cooked it by their instructions but then we put it in the oven again bc it wasn't dark enough. We bashed it on its own juices in btw cooking and once it was dark enough to our liking which was a little less than 2 hours. Sorry, I don't have any pictures but it was a darkened brown. When it was time to eat the turkey, it was tender and so flavorful by our surprise! Kudos to Popeyes on a well seasoned juicy bird and very very tender. One of the best turkeys in a long while. I ordered a fried turkey from Goldbelly.com through Uncle Rays last year and it was a disaster. I'll never do that again. We'll order from popeyes again. Food is Good Based on my experience on 7/6/21. I was greed by the cashier name Arianna, she provided me with a good customer service I request 16 pcs family meal only leg and thighs without any problems also the manager answered all my questions about the issue with ordering on their website. The place is really clean from where I see Bathrooms aren't accessible to the public, No diner in, only curbside, delivery or pick up. I think the business owner or the Management company should read customer complaints and improve their business because No customers No business! Good business brings more customers. read more

He proceeds to was the items outside with the hose and the scraps the spatula on the ground to get whatever off. The food is good as any other Popeyes. What makes the difference with stores like this is the customer service. They have so many employees and they all look over worked. Today's episode of "Why am I Here at Popeye's Anyway" started with the drive through. I wanted what's called the Big Box N More, which comes with a whole lot of stuff for $11.20, including a drink, 2 sides and a dessert. Fifteen minutes later with 3 cars in front of me, I get to the window. I ask for the Big Box N More and am told they don't have desserts so I can't get it BUT they will give me everything except the dessert and soda for $7.09. She then asks me for my 2 sides. One of them is a mac n cheese, for which she says "there's an upcharge of 50 cents for that" but the sign on the menu says that's only for substitutions. What did I substitute??? You get two sides!! The wait is ridiculous and the chicken was super greasy...this isn't the healthiest meal around anyway so great lesson in making better food choices going forward as well as saving time and money. The chicken was so thin it was almost nonexistent. & the amount of sauce was unbearable! I eat at Popeyes often enough to know what these products are suppose to look & taste like. If it was possible to give negative stars, I would. All the other times I have gone to Popeyes I knew it would be a wait but I had never gone through the drive through. So I thought that maybe, just maybe it would be faster. But no, it wasn't a drive through, it was a parking lot. Not only did I have to wait forever (this is supposed to be fast food, right?), but they got my order horribly wrong. As I pulled away, starved and ready to scarf down my fries, I realized that they gave me their nasty mashed potatoes. And the sweet heat sauce I had asked for was not there. For a second the thought flashed through my mind to turn back, but then I decided HELL NO, I cannot go back to the black hole time suck that is Popeyes. It was cold, I had waited forever, and just wanted to go home, not suffer more. Oh, and did I forget to mention that my son's side of mac n cheese was only half full? I usually stay away from this place bc it just takes unreasonably long for their not-so-fast-food. But now I know better. I will stay away for good. The closing manager who is there RIGHT NOW! needs to be FIRED! Popeyes does not close at 10:30pm!! There was 3 other customers in drive thru trying to order and she insisted they're closed and ran out of food! She was very rude and disrespectful to 4 different people and including her employee. Popeye's - like KFC - is one of those chain of fast food joints serving up fried chicken in the Louisiana style of cooking. I like to change up every now and then between Popeye's and KFC so I don't get tried of either one. The chicken itself is always hot and juicy here - I can't ever remember getting any dry or over-cooked chicken from this location and they always seem to get my order right (unlike sometimes with KFC on Gun Hill Road). They have very good sides as well. My favorite thing is the 'Deal Wheel' that spins when you place an order. Depending on where it falls - you can get anything from an extra piece of chicken to a extra side for just a few cents more. You just can't beat that! read more

It is ok, only thing I really like about Popeye's is that when you order something it is like they round your change off to give you another side order for mad cheap price. I'll admit up front that I've been a Popeye's fan since 1985. Of all the chicken fast food places, I like Popeye's the best, mostly because of their red beans and rice. So, this particular place is hit or miss on the service. If the order is wrong, it's usually in my favor with an extra wing or something like that. Watching the employees interact is painful. Food comes out fairly quick. The dining room is okay, though sticky... It's the closest one to me, so I'll be back when I need a Popeye's fix. read more

Bought the BBQ chix sandwich the other day at the Bay Plaza location and hit bone on my first bite. I got cartilage on the second. When I showed these inedible bits to the manager she said, "Well, that's because we make it with real chicken." "What?!" She repeats this, and asks, "Okay, is that it?"
