Pros Nice clean park, as of writing this , rec room and…read morefacilities under renovation, 2 washer/dryer laundry newer models $2 per wash/dry, we had our 42' fifth wheel with 5 slides in a covered spot for one month, space was large enough couldn't hold hands with neighbor through the window. All long term residents were very friendly and quiet and their units were all very clean and on the newer side and no loud vehicles or dogs. Cons Owners are a little more OCD than we like. Must make appointment to pull in and out (for those of us who pay long term and travel out occasionally), tight getting in and out and they keep having to move their boulders around, any unit more than 35' will have a bit of difficulty with pulling in and out without checking the trees to make sure they don't scrape (our ac in front top cleared with no more than a foot in one place, the truck must go into the grass which with rains can be very soft, they only allow you out one way (argued about that one with them) and they claim you are responsible if anything goes wrong regardless that they are guiding and moving boulders and cones as you pull out through the park. Hear a little noise from the 69 but not a big deal (although it will be under construction to widen for the next foreseeable future...electric kept shutting off/on-due to electric company moving the poles along the road). Dog never allowed off leash even in your own space...nice grassy area but too many stickers for our dog and tracked them in on our shoes. Dogs never allowed off leash anywhere inside park. A lot of paperwork at the start and they read every rule to you before you sign. Background check and photos of unit needed before reservations made( no problem for us, nice to THINK your neighbors are not hunted by the law!) All in all not a bad place, just not a good fit for us.

Easy little stop for breakfast and lunch. We were able to…read morebank the boat right on shore and walk up to the restaurant. The food is decent but nothing spectacular. Breakfast I went Spanish omelette which was ok. Lunch I went burger and onion rings which everyone raves about but were just ok. I'm sure we'll be back as this always seems to be out go-to.

Oak Ridge had been advertising a Thanksgiving feast for a few days. I passed up many Furr's and…read moreother cafeteria's coming back from Dallas just to get their Thanksgiving feast. I ordered on the phone for a ToGo plate. I Specified on the phone to cut the bread, the desert and asked if both my sides be dressing. I also asked that for not getting any drink or dessert, could I get extra dressing. I looked in the ToGo bag at cashier. This is what I got. This "Feast" cost just under $19. I expressed to her it looked and felt more like a $7 meal. I spoke to cashier about my displeasure with the portions. She said that portion was correct, even if you ate inside. Very disappointed in the size portions of this meal. The dressing was most likely no more than 5-6 tablespoons per scoop. Scoop size was size of small ice cream scoop. Felt robbed. Got home and dressing was little to no flavor and very dry turkey. Gravy was no giblet gravy, not one piece of egg to be seen. More like brown jarred gravy. No cranberry sauce. I would have rather ate at McDonalds. I would advise skipping Oak Ridge next Thanksgiving and trying your luck somewhere else.
