Recently I went to the Popcorn Stop to purchase my favorite Dill pickle popcorn , I bought 1 bag of dill and two bags of cheesy cheesy .. hadn't been to the popcorn stop in a while and I had been thinking about the dill since last week , finally I was able to go get it on last Saturday... Got home and to my surprised it was LOADED with salt . I don't know what's going on , but it has never been this salty , it was so salty it took away from the flavor of the popcorn I don't know ‍ .. this use to be my favorite spot , I just might have to find another fat girl snack place. read more

Don't judge me, but I really like the confetti mix-a combo of all the candy flavored popcorn. They have a size for everyone from a small cone to a party size. I could not wait another month for my fav popcorn so I went to the shop. If you try the Dill pickle or Chicago (cheddar and caramel), then you would understand why. Those two are big hits. I have eaten at so many popcorn places, including Garrett's in Chicago. I have to say, totally impressed by this place. Prices were on par for gourmet popcorn, and service was fast. They also had a promising menu of various flavors. We had the cheddar and caramel combo, which is a classic! We also added a bag of kettle, and it did not disappoint either. The store itself is very small, smaller than any offer popcorn place I have ever been to. Don't let this keep you away from this gem though. Parking was easy, and they also had various candies and tins available. If you're in the area, stop by! You'll enjoy it, and if we ever come back that way, we will be back for sure! read more

I had the pleasure of trying this popcorn when the owner and his son were selling popcorn in the lobby of a business building I frequent. I love small businesses and I also loved that he asked me to let his son handle the transaction so he could get some practice. What a great way to get the kids involved, a summer job turns into a career and keep it in the family. I ended up buying the white cheddar, the chicago mix (caramel and white cheddar) and the kettle style (sweet and salty). All of them were sooooo good. This popcorn just never ever got hard or tasty stale even after I opened it and the flavor was phenomenal. I have had other shop's white cheddar popcorn and this far exceeded the others. Plus the prices were ah-maz-zing! I think I bought 3 bags for $5. And they accepted debit/credit cards which was a plus since they were selling off-site and I normally and without cash. Everyone Loves popcorn and Popcorn Stop makes it delicious and easy to send as a treat or gift. Before COVID-19, they would occasionally sell in my building in Downtown Dallas. I decided to order it as a "just thinking of you" for a couple of friends during the shutdown and they loved it. In the last year, I have had it sent to several people in the area--even as far as Louisiana. It arrives good and fresh, they tell me. They have so many flavors--traditional and then a rainbow of colorful and tempting flavors. (I let my friends and family try them out, before I do.) In addition to the great popcorn, there is an excellent staff of customer service-oriented personnel. Sean and his team are always professional--most helpful and well-versed on their products. This place is amazing. I haven't had popcorn this good since I was a kid. I love the selection of flavors and every time I go in the shop I try a different flavor. You can't beat free samples! My favorite flavors are Jalapeno Ranch, Salt & Vinegar and Orange Crush (when in season). The popcorn balls are great too!!! The employees so nice at this location, the atmosphere is amazing every time I walk in the door! I love the popcorn stop and I live for their different flavors especially bacon cheddar, however the customer service that is offered by the apparent owner and manager of the Arlington store is abysmal. Me and my wife refilled a tin the weekend before Christmas and the girls who were working that weekend accommodated us even though they didn't seek the size tin we had. The filled it with three flavors at our request using the divider our tin had. Very efficient no complaints. We just left the Arlington store attempting to do the same thing but the owner refused us the refill of anymore than one flavor because of 'cross contamination' because she would use the bag our tin had in it which could have been solved by simply changing the bag. She wasn't clear at her reasoning and was not a good communicator. The stir had no customers when we walked in and it seemed like she was annoyed that she had customers. Also my sister wanted some strawberry taffy but she was unwilling to at least show here what the strawberry taffy package looked like. She simply told her 'guess they picked it all out' and 'that's not strawberry' even though there was a huge tub of the assorted taffy behind her and she could have easily showed her what it looked like. Again unwilling to make a sale and help a customer. Popcorn is delicious but if you're looking for good customer service the Arlington popcorn stop is not the place to go. read more

They have many unique flavors of popcorn to choose from, some are candy flavored, some are spicy and some traditional flavored. The prices are very reasonable. You can buy a "mini" sized bag, which is the size of a small bag of popcorn at the movies, for $1! The shaved ice is perfect for a summer treat!
