Glenn is very experienced in removing popcorn and it shows in his work. He arrived on time to do the estimate and the job. He was fast, efficient and clean. He used tons of plastic initially which made for no mess for me to clean up after. His end result was better than I expected. He put a new texture on the ceiling (light skip trowel) and did some additional drywall repairs. I received a lot of quotes for this job and although he was not the lowest he was still very reasonable and within my budget. If I could give this company 10 stars I would. They were exceptional from our interaction with Cari office manager by phone or email to Jonah who did the work. Cari was quick, friendly. Knowledgeable and understanding. Provided a quote within minutes and made any necessary adjustments immediately. Also was extremely considerate in scheduling work time around my wife's medical needs. Jonah arrived on time each of the two days. His took exceptional care of our furniture and other items that remained in the rooms. His craftsmanship was outstanding. Again he was fast and efficient as well as considerate making sure he cleared a safe path so we could access our kitchen the first night before he left. He put all the furniture back in place when he completed and cleaned the entire area. He was very personable and friendly and just a pleasure to have in our home. He went over and above to repair any exposed damage And not only was the original quote very fairly priced... the end price was less than original quote including repairs that he only became aware as the popcorn was removed. We hired Glen to remove the popcorn on the ceiling and asked him to do a light knockdown to "match existing walls" (which were a light orange peel). We hired him from across the country and figured that based on his reviews, would do an excellent job. When we went to see the progress on our condo remodel after he had completed the work, we couldn't believe what he had done to the ceilings... it was like trading popcorn ceilings for a heavy stucco finish. Not the clean and modern look we were trying to accomplish, which we explained thoroughly to Glen. We asked him to come back and fix it to make it smooth to match the walls and agreed on an additional $1,000 to do this. He wasn't able to come back and do this until after we left. We assumed that he took care of the ceiling since it was his second time there. We paid him promptly a few weeks ago. We had our friend who was in the area go and take photos of the ceiling and couldn't believe it.... Another horrible job. Not sure why the reviews are so good for this company. Maybe it was just our job that they didn't care about? They definitely got paid well. They even padded their original estimate of $1,500 to remove the popcorn and added another $300 to the final bill when they were finished. No explanation and we didn't say anything about it at the time or question it.. All we can say is "be careful". Reviews like this are very helpful so that the consumer knows what to expect and you don't go through this nightmare that we are still going through as a result of the poor quality of work. read more

Both Glenn and Jonah are true professionals. Upon the initial visit, they provided me a detailed quote after taking a copious amount of measurements. I decided to utilize them based on their professional demeanor, their knowledge, experience and attitude. In addition, they were on time for their appointment (which is a rare occurrence for contractors!). We scheduled the job, and they were about a week to week and a half out. At job time, they were once again on time and ready to work. They wasted no time in removing all objects from the ceiling (fans, light fixtures, air vents) to create a clean slate from which to work. Every inch of floor and wall was covered with tarp for protection. For the entire house, it took approximately one day and half to complete. After which time, they left our house cleaner than when they started! Once finished, they recommended that I apply the first coat of primer so they could get a better look at any oversights and apply any finishing touches. After two weeks, I was ready to call them and they returned, as promised, to complete the job. Glenn even went out of his way to repair two extra holes in the ceiling created by the HVAC people that visited earlier in the week. More importantly is that he didn't try to "nickel and dime" me by asking for additional money to do so. One can really appreciate that! They treated my house as if they were working on their own. With that said, I will use them EVERY time without even calling another company. Highly recommended! read more
