Pop Nail is under new management as of two weeks ago and Amy is the new owner. She is so so sweet and caring. I made an appointment the day before and they were very accommodating and nice throughout the whole process. Thu was my nail technician and she was amazing! She did a great job and was great at keeping the conversation limited or talkative depending on the mood. I only got a gel manicure but they took off my old gel for no charge, which was amazing! They even let you come in within three days to get anything fixed on your nails if needed! I will keep coming here for years. read more

Not happy tried it 2 times with the new owner. My gel nail lasted 5 days before it starts cracking, poor quality of nail polish but the service is good so I gave 3 star. read more

Never fails, beautiful nails , they just opened yesterday glad I called to go in today. I had acrylic nails needed a fill so bad. Wanted to Try going with my natural nail. OMG! I walked in and thankfully pop nails took me on the spot. Over all give my experience 5 stars! Grace was my nail technician and she really went above and beyond, it was clear she knew exactly what she was doing and genuinely likes what she does. She used clean and high quality products and it showed in her technique she's talented. This is now my go to. read more

This is by far the best place to get your nails done . Amy is the sweetest person and she really does take her time. She pays attention to every detail and makes sure everything is perfect. The BEST manicure in all aspects. I've been to many nice nail salons all the way from Orange County to Beverly Hills and this was by far the most detailed, attentive, and beautiful gel set I've had. I came a few times for a gel manicure and it lasted 3+ weeks and looked beautiful. Also, this salon is extremely respectful of your booked appointments. I always had a nail tech waiting and ready for me when I walked in at my set time. I really appreciated that. This salon goes above and beyond. I had a baby so I haven't had a chance to get out for a manicure but when I do, I will come here. read more

Love this place! Came here for the first time today and absolutely loved the experience. It's got a more open floor plan, the music is soothing, and the nail techs are top notch! I got a gel pedi and an acrylic fill with gel on top. My pedi was relaxing and wonderful (the massage chairs are excellent) and my mani was fantastic. My tech really took her time to make sure that the colors popped and the lines were perfect. I'll be back! read more

My experience here was interesting... I decided to do my nails in the last minute, so my normal go-to nail lady was booked up already. I did a quick yelp search near my neighborhood and found this place. I was happy to see that they welcomed walk-ins and walked in on Sunday right when they opened. Everyone was super friendly and I was seated right away. I let her know that I wanted Gel Mani with nail art and she happily started my nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted exactly. I focused on the X-mas themed nails highlighting the x-mas tree made from gems for the thumb nails. She said, "I can do this". I asked her one more time, you can do these? and again she said "I can". I was super happy that she would be able do them and she started. I really liked how there was no chit-chatting. I like to turn my brain off and stare off and sit peacefully. She was very gentle and was pretty quick with the gel mani. After she started the nail art and wow, I guess what I asked for was quite difficult. It took her some time to place the gold line stickers. Now, this is where I got a little frustrated. After she completed my fingers and now it's time to do the gem xmas tree on my thumb nails, she tells me,"We don't have these gems, I can't do it". The entire point of this design was the tree and I asked her at the get go, can you do it. If she told me from the start she can't, I had a different design to choose from. I told her to figure something out and she started clustering gems and it looked really ugly. I told her why don't you make a x-mas wreath and she did. I guess in her mind seashells are relatable to xmas because she added that on the wreath. Anyways at this point I give up and just let her do whatever cause there is no way this can be fixed. So now it's time to calculate how much this is all going to cost. This is where it gets interesting. Now I am Korean, I can speak it and understand Korean. I don't know why it didn't cross their minds that I possible could understand every single thing they were saying about me. How they were saying, " We should charge her $40 for the nail art", and than few minutes later say, "You know, that was a lot of work actually, you should get $50 out of her for that!". Like they really felt the need to justify charging me more to themselves. I am ok paying over $100 for nail art if the end result is what I wanted. The way they were talking was like if they thought I was going to be shocked at the price. Anyways...they know what they were saying and I don't feel like typing everything out. Honestly that was embarrassing on you... Do I feel like my nails were worth $85, yes and no. All the work and time she spent on my nails yes, absolutely yes. The outcome of the design...no, hell no. Lesson learned, never leave my go-to nail lady.... read more

I really really liked this place. My mom and I have been going to a nail salon literally up the street from here for the longest time, but we've been looking for an upgrade--as the other salon has rude and unprofessional staff--and we totally found it! The staff is super nice and the place is very clean. They play calming spa music while you're getting your services done and the massaging spa chairs are so comfortable. They are a little on the pricier side, but nowadays, it seems most places have raised their prices, but you really get what you pay for here. Definitely try them out. A small salon, a little kitschy and not the best English, but I am devoted. Here's why: Kathy is the best nail technician I have ever met. She is careful, precise, and very on trend with colors, product and what's hip now. The spa is clean, they are careful with tools and they don't chatter away with eachother. I actually get to relax and read my magazine or chat with my girlfriend in the next chair. They are friendly and professional. i hate the feeling i get in the salons where they speak Vietnamise that they are talking about everyone in the room. Here, they have solid English, are, in my experience great at making suggestions, and are really helpful. When I call they are great about finding a time to fit me in. They also have a rewards program, for which I am a sucker. They give you a little card and with each service they give you back a small % on the card. When you get to the $10 level or above, they deduct that from the service of your choice. Yes! I've had about 4 free pedicures over the years because I am such a devotee. I think right now they are focused on a younger crowd, and I am a mom of adult children, still, I've never had a bad experience at this spot. I've not had facial, waxing or non nail services performed, but I hear they are good and are developing. If you haven't tried Pop Nail, and you're ok with a bright pink environment, check it out. They always have lovely and tasteful music on, usually classical, sometimes fun pop that's not too beat heavy. Check out what Kathy or the other gal are wearing on their toes, they are always modeling the latest color trend. And if you do gels, have Kathy do it for you, she is truly a genius! I even take my pinterest board into her. They have texted and emailed me fun designs too - sometimes I'm in the mood to try something innovative. Nice pedicure/massasge chairs, friendly atmosphere and a sugary sweet pink environment. I'm a big fan! read more

I've gone here twice and I absolutely love the quality of the manicures I've gotten and the customer service is great. Tu was my manicurist and she is very sweet. I showed her a few designs I liked and she was able to do them no problem. Highly recommend! read more

I have to say this is by far my favorite. Arrive without appointment and was helped right away. I got a mani and gel pedi for $60. Well worth it. I was helped by Jimmy who did a fabulous job. He was very nice and extremely funny. They made me feel pretty comfortable. The other employees were really sweet. My time there was very entertaining. I like that they have a stamp card so that you can work your way up to a free manicure. In the end I loved how my nails came out and definitely recommend this place because I know I'll be back. read more

I had a terrible experience here after several quick polish changes and pedicures in the past year! According to online it also says polish changes are only $5 and I would even tip! However, this time I was overcharged $10 and received attitude from the girl that is usually always a doll! I won't be coming by anymore for any nail services, especially after such a 180 in her customer service. Who tells a customer 'can you just pay me now?'I know I was in a hurry but that was completely inappropriate. And the polishes are watered down! read more

My words cannot describe how awesome the service was. It's a VIP service. I have never seen someone that talented in removing the cuticles and making sure that the nails are totally cuticle free. I have been having a very hard time finding a talented one to do my nails but I finally found what I was dreaming of. It's a mom and a daughter business , both did my nails. The mom removed all the cuticles and the daughter did the nail polish and after that they gave me a great message. It took them an hour and half to do the manicure and pedicure since my nails were in terrible shape!! read more

What a gem! There are so many nail places out there. Many I've been to. I've never had such a good job in any of them over quite a few different countries. Newly opened (February). Homely. Best not to judge a book by its cover. The music wasn't too loud. No tv. Which suits me. The chairs had a massage feature. There are safety procedures in place: plastic screens. All looked clean. Just one other client in with me and seated at a distance. I'd not had a pedi for over a year. My feet were in bad shape: including a callous and ingrowing toenail. Initially not wanting one I decided to get a paint job too! And glad I did. Just the right summer colour for me: pink/orange/glittery. Suddenly my feet were transformed into things of beauty. Thank you Kay, the owner. A lovely person. Such a thorough job. She painstakingly (and painlessly) sorted out the toenail. Callous also gone. This was way more than a mere pedicure. The price? More than reasonable. I had all that work done (and was being taken care of for over 1.5 hours) for total $35! Extra for the two special treatments. A generous tip was deserved. AND she sweetly provided me with flip flops on leaving. I'd brought sandals but they may not have kept my now fab toes looking tops. Can't recommend this salon enough. I'll always visit when I'm in town and needing caring and professional attention. I wish them all the luck in the world and hope that others find them and have a similar experience. read more

An update is really needed. The nail technician was kind, offered me water, and gave me a great foot massage. However, her application process was horrible. I left the salon with very thick layers painted on my toes. I waited approximately 20 minutes before I moved around and within hours my nail polish was wrecked! I tried to take it off myself but I think she applied a Gel top coat without my knowledge. I really hated it! I went to another salon to get it fixed. I don't think I will be returning. Sorry.
