No seats at the bar so we sat at the long table behind the bar seats. Kayla wasn't the server for our section but got us started because the other server was busy. I had the Gin Fizz from the winter cocktail menu and I liked it - but it was on the sweeter side. I didn't order another. He had the winter Coors Light (ha). To eat I had the Big Jim burger with fries and it was so freaking good! It was juicy, the bun was griddled and soft. The fries were so hot I had to let them cool! Perfection. He had the Lumberjack burger and we did splitsies! His burger was damn delicious too! He had onion rings and they were hot as can be as well and some of the best around. Kayla ended up keeping us for the duration of our meal. She was attentive, friendly and did a great job. Of course we will be back!

I absolutely love this place!…read more The Brewers lounge has such a nice atmosphere with a large inside bar, plenty of seating, and a large patio space. Pro Tip: bring your furry friends to hangout with you on the patio! Kid friendly too! There's ample parking on the side and back of the building. There's also spaces designated for Harvest Host campers! They host a lot of activities such as Run Muskegon, Trivia, and Dart league. The beer menu is always changing so there's always something new to try! The kitchen staff is also excellent. The main menu is wonderful, and their weekly specials are ALWAYS so good. I think my favorite foods have been the panini's and quesadilla. Everything is very customizable for anyone with allergies, dietary restrictions, or just specific tastes! There are also a couple different vodka mixed drinks, a cider or two, non-alcoholic beers, some wines, and sodas for those not into beer! They also open up the Brewhouse sometimes so people can go back and see all of the brewing equipment and canning line. That's where the dart boards are too. 10/10 if you're in Muskegon, it's gotta be on your go-to list!

Definately worth stopping in , especially when the weather is warm to enjoy the outdoor seating area and the views.

If you're lucky enough, you can watch the Muskegon Lumberjacks play while enjoying your street tacos. Don't miss out on their rotating drink specials! I had a boozy frozen apple cider and it was SO GOOD: strong, flavorful, seasonal. CALLING ALL VEGANS. This is probably going to end up being your go-to if you're in Muskegon as it's one of the only places that actually has options on the menu. + chips and guac ($7): such a HUGE portion of house made guacamole and fresh fried chips. Expect some spice with that guac too: very oniony and lots of chunks of jalapeno. Seriously, this would cost at least $11 to $14 where I'm from. + "Secret Love" vegan tacos ($5): deep fried cauliflower covered in buffalo sauce, a celery cucumber sauce, and scallions. This flavor profile is hard not to love, and these were fantastic. Good textures, very hearty. +/- "The Bruss Lee" vegan tacos ($4): deep fried brussel sprouts in an Asian marinade, kimchi, scallions, and peanuts. These were okay. Just VERY WET, kind of fell apart, and the brussels were crunchy and tough. I was so excited to get another frozen apple cider and to try the sweet potato nachos, that I came back a second night... And had a totally different experience. The first night I came (a Saturday; they were SO BUSY), the bartender was engaging, interactive. Other staff cleaning up and around customers seemed friendly and cool too. The second night (a Sunday; there wasn't more than twelve or so customers there)? They were so rude. One staff member was yelling at people to get into a single orderly line (we were) and the bartender said they were cash only (they weren't the previous night, and...) "The people in front of me just used their card," I pointed out when it was my turn. "Yeah, but now the internets down. The whole street is dealing with it. Not our problem." 1) This was not true, as I went to other businesses on the street and paid with card no problem, 2) Just an observation: it seemed like they were only telling this to people with food menus in their hand (I saw the cook repeatedly shaking his head and using his arms to make an "x" at the bartenders). I saw a few other reviews mention similarly polarizing experiences, so it's definitely something to note.

The menus are QR codes on the tables, which is pretty standard. I didn't love that food and drinks are on separate tabs. So with 2 of us there, we had 4 tabs by the end. 1 each for food, and 1 each for drinks. It felt a little disjointed. It was also a little hard to get a server's attention when needed. You order on your phone, but just to get a couple glasses of water it took some time to flag down our server. And really, it's more of a host/food-runner situation since all the order processing is done online. I'm not super into cocktails, but their drinks really sounded amazing. They have some very fun, and inventive cocktails. If we hadn't already been to 2 breweries I probably would've ordered one. Instead I had a beer, which I believe was a house made IPA, and was fine. We weren't super hungry so we each ordered some egg rolls and shared them. Not necessarily the best I've ever had, but they were definitely good enough. I appreciate that they had some fun, not typical types of egg rolls on the menu. The space was cool, and I liked the food well enough that I'd go back. Hopefully it will feel a little more like a dining experience next time. That, or they could just have people order at a counter and it would make more sense. The Sunday brunch menu is small, but sounds amazing. I'm more likely to return for that rather than for a dinner.

They have an okay selection with prices that won't break the bank. It's a good place to go to if you can handle bikers, crowds and loud noises. It's a saloon for all intensive purposes - which is on their sign above their door. I wouldn't take anyone who wants anything quiet, but for a stop on a bar crawl (It's about half a dozen doors down from Tipsy Toad Tavern), the final stop on a great night or a place to enjoy a few beers after a day of work, Mike's is the place to go. Also a great place to go for big events like Bike Time or Taste of Muskegon, or after Lumberjacks games.

I'm typically known to help the staff with the belligerently drunk and clean up as I normally come sober and not to party but just to play pool. I'm originally from Muskegon but I only come here seasonally in the winter for the past few years. The first night I came to this bar trying to play pool there were some 20-year-olds belligerently drunk. It was getting close to closing time and an effort to expedite the game apparently I offended one of those 20-year-olds. And apparently one of those 20-year-olds runs the place because as I proceeded to get a second drink I was told that I was cut off for upsetting the customers. As I tried explaining the situation and how grossly and appropriate this was I was not heard. In fact the bartender was actually quite rude and clearly did not care what I had to say because she did not know me so I must be a significant. It's clear that they do not want new business. The only thing that keeps this bar alive is that they are only late night bar. Pool is $2 a game which is pretty steep. The place looks like it hasn't been updated since the '80s or '90s. The music also has not been updated. If you are into being treated like garbage by garbage then this is a place for you I guess

I asked the bartender (I wish I would have got his name) if they had any options for me given those 3 things, and he came up with a DELICIOUS sugar free iced coffee option that was so good that one of the friends who had been drinking all night decided she wanted one to go along with her beer. It's sometimes hard as the DD to find a place with any variety and I was so happy to have a place make me a priority too. After all, your DDs are getting those drinkers safely to and from your establishment to bring in those big bucks - so you should give them a little thank you by treating them nicely as well. The service was great and the food and coffee drinks came out quick. For drinks I had a banana bread latte and he ordered a mocha with an extra shot. Both were delicious! We ordered 3 different entrees to share - I might not have the names right, so please bear with me if you try to find them on the menu and you can't find the exact same thing. Started off strong with the breakfast burrito. It was so good! I don't know if it had a cheese sauce or just melted American cheese, but it was a good balance of cheese, hash browns, eggs and sausage. The munchwrap was awesome with chorizo sausage, hash browns, a tostada for crunch and cheese all grilled up in a flour tortilla. Last and our least liked was the Cheddar Bay Biscuit bowl. I like the concept, but the execution was poor. The biscuit had been microwaved damn near to death. It was hard to cut through with a knife. The consistency was somehow soggy and hard while also chewy. Add to that the saltiest sausage gravy ever. We each ate one bite, said no thank you and tossed it. Everything else was so good, this might just be a bad one off, but I don't think I could be convinced to try it again. I don't think food is served all day, so if you are hungry, get there before 2pm (I think).
