I was desperate and had them press some pistons on my connecting rod. Simple enough job. That's what I thought. They put them on backwards. They told me it was my fault because I didn't tell them. All they had to do was line up the marks I show The so called Machinist before he started. Had to take them to another machine shop and have them pressed on the right way. They were in shock that somebody could make such a stupid mistake. I wouldn't recommend this outfit.

Kevin is a fantastic machinist. He builds race winning engines as well as solid engines for street cars. They told me that they would haul the car off for free, I just needed to sign some paperwork. Later that week I received a phone call from the previous owner saying that he received a bill from Webers $220 for towing and storage. I was appalled, they had flat out lied to me. I would not have let them remove the car from my property if I knew they were going to bill someone. DO NOT use Webers to tow off scrap car, they will rip you off.

We rolled up into Autozone and Leo hooked us up! Super friendly and went out of his way to help us get the parts we needed. Most part houses I've been to are kind of...well, lame. The customer service is usually hit or miss and most of the time the employees just want to give you the stuff you need and expect you to leave them alone. It was a breath of fresh air to be treated so well at this Autozone. Leo and his associate (I wish I knew his name, you know who you are) not only found the parts we needed but actually talked to us and joked around with us like normal human beings. Leo helped me before when I was looking for truck parts and even then he was extremely helpful. That's the kind of business that Selah needs right there. Even the guy stocking the parts was very helpful and had no problem giving us the best customer service possible. Thank goodness we found this place and the employees that work here. Btw, the parts we found were by far the cheapest we could find in the entire Yakima valley. Same product the dealership carries at a fraction of the cost. Excellent!!

We were passing through the Yakima area on vacation from Oregon when our truck suddenly and…read moreinexplicably died. We had it towed over 60 miles to Absolute Auto. I called the shop in the am explaining the situation and they told me they could look at it that day. Mike was fantastic. He immediately dropped what he was doing (and the shop looked very busy) and made like I was his most important customer. He diagnosed the problem that morning, ordered the part. A wire within the ignition tumbler had burned up. The part had to be shipped from the east coast. The next day, the part arrived and the part was immediately installed. Mike is extremely competent and professional. Pricing was more than fair. I would absolutely recommend Absolute Auto to anyone that needs a mechanic in the Yakima area. I wish he was in my hometown.
