We have been using their cat sitting services for about two years now, and we are so happy that we found them. PCAP is composed of a staff of friendly, real people who really love animals. Each and every visit is carefully documented and they always leave cute comments about how the cats are doing and what they're up to. Upon request, the staff is even accommodating about sending pictures to keep us updated. We love receiving the pictures while we're away! We feel we've really built a trusting bond with this company, and we will continue to use their services for years to come. When you're away from home, you don't want feel stressed about whether your furry family members are okay... with PCAP, we always feel very assured that the kitties are in good hands, so we can relax and have a good time on vacation. This company was a God-send!…read more Over the holidays, I was in need of some one to watch my Lab mix doggie for 10 days. I absolutely did NOT want to put her in a kennel. I wanted to her to be in her own environment (I'm one of those people that view their dogs as part of the family and my husband and I like to refer to her as our "fur-baby", so yes, we are over protective dog-parents). All my friends who normally would have watched her- couldn't, due to the fact it was over Christmas and New Years- Panicking, I did a quick search on Yelp and found this place. I saw they have good reviews, so I emailed the owner, Meghan Gilliatt, and she emailed me back right away (um, amazing service!) She was able to answer all my questions and concerns. We set up a free consultation with the manager, Laurie. She came over to our house and right away we knew that the people who work here, love pets! Our dog immediately loved Laurie (after all dogs know right away if some one is a doggie-lover) We set up our doggies visits while we were away. While we were gone, the employees sent me text updates with pictures every day! They also fill out a daily visit "report card" so you know everything that went on for each visit. I loved that even though we were far away, our dog was happy in her own home and getting so much love! This is a fabulous company and they have so many options and services that really cater to your needs. I will be using them again! :D

I have been bringing my dog to this Hurley veterinary clinic since 2015, and unfortunately, I have…read moreseen a significant decline in the quality of care since the pandemic.Last year, my dog was diagnosed with heart failure. At the time, I was told that there was nothing more that could be done beyond managing his condition with long-term medication. I later discovered that the clinic's medication prices were substantially higher than what I could obtain through Chewy, so I began filling his prescriptions there instead. The clinic approved several prescription refills, but then informed me that they would no longer authorize refills without additional blood work. I recently paid approximately $200 for an office visit, during which the veterinarian stated that my dog was retaining fluid. Despite this, my dog's Lasix dosage was reduced. This was confusing to me, especially given the seriousness of his condition. I have also experienced concerns regarding pricing. For example, I was charged $35 for a body spray that can be purchased online for $19.99. When I asked about returning it, I was told there was a strict no-return policy, although I did not see that policy clearly stated on my receipt. Beyond the financial concerns, I feel that customer service has deteriorated. I found my interactions with management to be rude, dismissive, and overly focused on generating revenue rather than prioritizing patient care and client concerns. After being a client for many years, I am deeply disappointed by my recent experiences and no longer feel confident recommending this clinic. I've also noticed that since 2019 there do not appear to be any African American employees working at this facility, whereas before 2019 there were several. I'm not claiming to know the reasons for this change, but I do believe consumers have the right to consider a company's hiring practices and workforce representation when deciding where to spend their money. If a business does not appear to reflect or include members of our community

This was a few years ago so I don't know what services Dr. Andrea is offering right now but she used to come to my house for at home vet visits because my cat was a scaredy-cat. I was in school and scraping for cash and I could not believe how well priced she was and the best vet I ever had (seriously.. thank you Dr. Andrea). I'm a nurse now and I find myself at the bedside still talking about how much Dr. Andrea (that's what i call her) meant to me and how much she did for me emotionally by going above and beyond when it was time to say bye to my best bud Doogie. The anniversary of my Doogie passing, it will actually have been five years tomorrow, I think that's why these thoughts bubbled up... much to my surprise I don't get sad when I think that the anniversary of him passing is coming up probably because it was as peaceful and beautiful as it could've been. Xoxo to you and your AMAZING staff!! I will always be grateful for you!
