I used this service for several months and for the most part it was ok. The tech would message me when they were on their way and call me when they were outside if I hadn't responded. They did an ok job cleaning the yard. Today the tech messaged me while I was on a series of calls and then again once they reached and then 4 minutes later that they had to leave. No call or ring on the door. I saw their messages later and they said they couldn't call since they were on an important phone call. Hey, guess what, so was I! I guess I'm just expected to stare at my phone for his messages. The cherry on top was me getting charged. I asked for a refund since the tech didn't do the job. I got a response from "Jason" telling me I would be refunded but corporate would charge me next time. I replied telling him it's clearly not my fault if the tech expects me to be looking at my phone the entire day waiting for his message and a call should be expected. If he doesn't agree, he can cancel my service. He responded later with a cancellation confirmation. So yeah, that's what you can expect with this company. I guess their workload has rubbed off on their work ethic. Don't use this service. Believe the poor reviews! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I asked for services to come on Friday's since that is when I would be home. However, they came on Tuesday. No warning. No knock on our door. Just walked into our backyard. I received invoices prior to work even being completed. When I sent an email asking for this to take place on Friday no one responded. After the 2nd visit we took our kids into the yard thinking it was poop free only to find out only half of our yard was done. We have video of the guy only coming for 5 mins. I have 2 dogs, and weekly pickups. no way can all the poop get picked up within 5 mins. I sent a second email, asking them to make this right and come finish their job however never received a response. I called to cancel and was never asked why or what happened or if there was any way to keep me. I work in customer service, and i will never use this company again. I also kept my family from using them as well. read more

Did a one time clean service by them. Lady showed up and said she was gonna clean the entire backyard. She missed a lot of spots that weren't in my dogs designated zone. I think she only picked up what was easy to see. There was also poop bits left over in my walk away to my backyard had to clean those off. Otherwise it was an alright service but this might be the only time I'd ever use them. It is pretty pricey paying about $70 for a couple months worth of poop for two dogs while leaving left overs for me. read more

We were pretty hesitant at first, because we thought paying for a dog poop pickup service would be a waste of money. However, after a few months I can honestly say this was one of the best investments we've made as homeowners. Poop 911 is always on time and gets the job done quickly (even picking up for a Great Dane). Sometimes we don't even realize they were here, because they're so efficient. When we do run into them, they're always friendly and professional. We love the service so much that we added a monthly deodorizer to our plan. We spend much more time in our backyard now. First I have to say that Pete who is in charge of the Poop 911 service for Contra Costa County and therefore Danville where I live appears to be a responsible and professional business man. However, Brian, who apparently is the only alleged pooper scooper for this company in the Danville area is difficult and dishonest. Brian came to my door on his first visit and at first did not identify himself, but was asking about my name and how to pronounce it. When I asked him to identify himself, he got flustered and upset and then eventually said he was my new pooper scooper, Brian. This was on Thursday, June 21 at around 2:50pm. He went back to his truck. I had to leave, but he did leave the sticker on my back door implying he had scooped the poop out of the back yard. I now don't think he did, although I got charged for that visit. He came back on June 28 and left another sticker on my door, but for sure did NOT scoop any poop, yet I got charged for his visit. I knew for sure he hadn't scooped any poop on his 3rd visit, July 5, although he again left a sticker. My daughter was home. She said he pulled up in his truck, got out, then left the sticker on the door, and left soon thereafter. On July 5 I had the time to go out and check and my yard was FULL OF POOP! I walk my dog EVERY morning and he poops out in the street. So I KNOW all the poop in my back yard is from weeks of not being scooped up. I contacted Pete by both phone message and email and let him know what had happened. Within a few hours, at around 6:30pm on the evening when I had called, I got a call from Brian who said Pete told him to call and about my complaint. Brian just wanted to talk about life and wanted me to "work with him" on how he scoops poop...or doesn't. I told him he just need to do what he is paid to do, yet he still wanted to negotiate. I told him I was willing to stay with Poop 911, but not if Brian is the pooper scooper. Trust was broken. I didn't want to have to check after every visit to see if he had scooped any poop. Brian told me then I must be asking to cancel the service as he was the only one who does Danville. YIKES! So I said please cancel the service! I will say that Pete then called me about an hour or so later and said he had seen my email and talked to Brian. But, yes, Brian is his only pooper scooper for Danville. I then said that Pete then didn't really have a pooper scooper for Danville as Brian doesn't scoop poop. Pete believed I was the only customer so complaining. I should have asked Pete to come check out my yard as Brian had supposedly scooped it clean just a few hours before, but I didn't think of that. It was obvious no poop had been scooped for weeks. And even if it was the first time Brian decided not to actually scoop any poop, if he did it once, why wouldn't he continue to do so? In any event, I asked for a full refund and Pete did give me a full refund for the earlier charges. So, like I said at the start, I believe Pete to be a responsible and professional business man, but he has hired a dishonest and lazy employee. read more
