I was hoping to have help from Jesse about cleaning my pool and getting instructions on how to work my pool equipment. After 4 weeks, and a promise of a call back, they haven't even called me in regards to helping me. Meanwhile I have called them several times and have had no help at all. They are way overpriced! My advice is to shop around and compare. Part that cost anywhere else $450 was sold to me for $600. Labor for less than 30 minutes work was $210 and needless to say they showed up 3 hours late. Totally disappointed. Shop around! read more

I honestly can't express just how much these guys have helped me out. We just added a pool to the house within the last couple years and I knew absolutely nothing about how to maintain it. I tried a few other services but they were so flakey and I ended up doing most of the work myself. These guys changed everything and I immediately noticed a giant change when switching to them. I live in a really windy area and my pool can be a complete mess at times. They're so thorough and always do exactly what is needed, communicate it to me very clearly, always charge an extremely fair price for their work, and are always dependable. They people behind the counter are very helpful. They give you directions on how to maintain your pool without making you feel stupid. Thats always nice! I told them about my situation and they told me what to do and what to buy. They seem honest so i dont think they over sold me. Fantastic store next to the 711 on Devonshire and Woodley (across the street from the Chevron gas station, you can't miss it!) The owner Pat has been in the business for decades and is the most knowledgeable person I have come across when it comes to the do-it-yourself maintenance for your swimming pool. I'm not sure why the price rating is so high on here. I've compared them to Leslie's and other local stores and they are competitive and usually cheaper. Pat, Jesse, and Fred have been so helpful. They offered to make the commute to Lancaster to help with my pool. Rather than have them do that they walked me through everything step by step over the phone. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, but they are friendly and patient. I had bought too much paint and they let me return the unused paint with no questions asked. I highly recommend these guys to anyone in need of pool services. I called a few spots trying to get my pump replaced but i wanted one that qualified for the city rebate program and i found this location. I called them up and from the start Jessie walked me through all the steps. They quoted me one of the best prices and they were very confident in the work they do. They took care of me from start to finish and made the paperwork so easy and although they were busy with this heat Jessie would check in with updates. I 10/10 recommend them if you're looking for work done, you've found a great spot. Great business. I've been patronizing this store since I started cleaning our pool when my son left for college four years ago. They never seem to mind testing the water samples I bring in, are quick to offer to carry out cases of chlorine, and they always ask "How's the pool looking?" They have given me all kinds of useful advice over the years and I never feel dumb for asking obvious questions. ("What do I need pool conditioner for?") The prices for supplies are quite reasonable, especially when compared to the local chain pool store. They don't have quite as many silly pool toys as some might like, but hey, I just want to clean and care for my pool. read more

I needed my pool light bulb changed and they charged me $175.12 for a job that took less than ten minutes. The parts (light bulb and gasket) cost about $50 including tax, and the labor was $125. The technician, Tigran, was excellent - professional, courteous, informative and very friendly. I also appreciate that I needed this done on very short notice and Pat was very accommodating. But I wish I didn't feel overcharged for the job. read more

I've lived in the neighborhood and have been dealing with these guys for years. Recently it appears to be under new ownership. That being said, they're out of this world helpful. The place is always clean. I recently had a pool sweep problem and they took me back to the workbench and we took the pool sweep apart together. They showed me exactly what was wrong. They sold me the parts and I took everything home, and put it all back together and the sweep is working fine now. Please however beware at the prices. This place is ultra high end. The parts I purchased could have been had on Amazon for less than half the price I paid. However, I needed help diagnosing the issue, and that help came for free, so there is a trade off. They won't steer you wrong, they really want to succeed with their customers. The next time I need parts for the sweep I'll get them off of Amazon, because now I know what I'm looking for. read more

I don't even know how to tell all of you BE AWARE I hired these people to do the service on my pool and it's been a nightmare they have been (supposedly) taking care of my pool for a month and my pool has never looked so bad it's so green that you can barely see the bottom. It was not like that when they started. I have had several conversations with Jessie and Pat and it's getting me nowhere. They hire these guys who know nothing about pools. I had to go to Home Depot yesterday and buy $40.00 worth of chemicals to try and get it back so it doesn't look like a swamp that a monster is going to come out of it. Decided to take on servicing my own pool, but not until after trying to hire them first, got the estimate, and they were suppose to check the schedule for my area and let me know what service day(s) and time were available, 5 phone calls over a week and couldn't an answer, no one calling back, they were also higher than any other service and ended up being on a day and time I couldn't do. I got the feeling they are overbooked as well, which almost always causes issues. They couldn't promise the same day every week and the time window was too large, I have a dog and have to let them in, most pool services have access any day and time, still got the feeling they weren't interested in picking up another customer. I did buy chemicals there on two visits and the guys there were very helpful, parking can be an issue. read more

If you own a pool i would highly recommend that you not go here for pool service. There cleaning crew did a number on our pool, they so called cleaned our pool for the past 10 plus years and we could never figure out why we only had two days of swimming per week during the summer. But now we know why, we terminated service several months back, and when i went to speak witht the owner of the pool store trying to get some help as to how and why our pool was so dirty and green not blue, he simply said what do you want, the pool was cleaned. Cleaned my ass, the filter had not been cleaned for months and there had not been any chlorine added for months, we would get billed stating that they had just added contitioner and cleaned the filter. Little did we know that all that was being done was the water from the filter was being drained but the filter itself was not being taken out and cleaned. I finally had enough and had the water tested and another pool supply store, they told me after checking the water sample that i needed to put about four gallons of chlorine, clean out the filter replace the earthing powder in a day, and redo the whole cleaning process again, not once but twice in order to get all the junk out of the water. I did as they said and now the pool is clear ass hell. read more
