Thankfully, Elite Pool Designs put all of our fears to rest thanks to their amazing customer service, fair prices and excellent, high quality work. We previously had a koi pond in our backyard but, as the fish died out, realized we wanted something else back there instead. We reached out to Elite Pool and Cyndi and she came over the next day to assess our yard. As we had no idea where to start, she helped guide us through the whole process, connecting us with surveyors, tree removal experts and all of the other hidden things you don't think about when you decide "I want a pool". After the work to get the yard ready was done, we went to the Elite Pool offices to pick out the tile, lining and design of the pool. Cyndi walked us through the shape and features we wanted, and provided a very reasonable quote for everything, including, automation, a heater for the pool (hey it DOES sometime get cold here!) and a screen enclosure. Construction for the pool started in October 2024 and finished in late January 2025, and our hat goes off to Robert (owner of Elite Pool) for his help with managing the entire project. Crews arrived as needed and on time, and though there were some periods between steps where not a lot of work was being done, it was never unreasonable and given the holidays, totally fair. Inspection and electrical were simple and easy and now we are ready to enjoy our pool! For anyone in our same position, looking to install a pool from scratch but not sure where to turn, Elite Pool Design should be your first call, can't recommend them highly enough!

Our sales person (Dan Meyer) took the time to thoroughly explain every detail to us so we knew exactly what to expect. My husband and I are finance professionals and really take our time evaluating all options before making a decision. Dan was extremely patient with us through the process. We appreciated that the company provided an itemized breakdown of the costs for us so we knew exactly where every dollar spent was going towards. Dan also did a wonderful job creating a unique design for our pool/spa combo. Every other company that came out to give us quotes just drew a basic rectangle shaped pool, but Dan really put time and thought into his design and it showed! We also appreciated that Larsen's provided an all-in quote and would return funds if things weren't needed (like well points), compared to other companies that provided us lower quotes to "win the business", but then said there could be additional expenses. As finance professionals, we like to know exactly how much the project could cost and really appreciated this approach. Once construction began we worked with Jason and things moved quickly! We did have some weather delays, but that was to be expected. My husband is a bit of a perfectionist, so he was constantly checking on the detail of work being completed. If he wanted something changed or corrected, we just let Jason know and a crew was out to make it perfect for us, no questions asked. The level of customer service and communication throughout the entire project was very much appreciated and allows us to enjoy our beautifully finished pool and spa even more. Our feet continue to get TORN UP in the pool because they sold us the pebble sheen but put in something MUCH COURSER which destroys everyone's feet. The bottom is SO SO ROUGH! Our concrete continues to be a huge issue and we will eventually have to have it redone or add a French drain because it is SO UNEVEN on one side that rain just sits and creates a complete mess! The roof they put in continues to leak like crazy as it did immediately after completion. People that come over to our home are appalled at the work of this company! I invite anyone and everyone over to see the complete CRAP work of this company! I am shocked they are still in business!

Jose will front load the contract under the guise of being a small company and needing the money upfront. They will start your pool and never finish. Jose will tell you lie after lie to string you along. He doesn't even have his own license, he works under the license of a John Whyte or White (can't recall) Per contract he's done $20k of work but has $60k of our money. He's admitted he has a cash flow problem which means he took our money and didn't spend it on our pool build. Per contract we owe them $13.8K and he claims he can finish the pool for that amount but I have to buy the equipment myself and hire other people to finish the job. We were told our pool would take 6-9 months because of Covid and all of the supply chain issues. We were fine with this even though our last custom home build only took 9 months. We are now in month 15 with no end in site because Jose the owner is so dishonest and incompetent. He lies to us continuously. In fact as I type this out, they were supposedly finishing our pool project today. The amount of work left to do for that to be a reality is ridiculous. This is just another one of the MANY lies we've been told. When Jose finally sends someone to complete a small portion of one project, they show up late afternoon and spend about an hour or two doing one little thing so Jose can claim work is getting done. This is after you wait week after week with nothing getting done and no one showing up when promised. Once they finally complete a portion of a project, the work typically has to be redone because it's been done so poorly. The amount of rework that they have had to do on our project is too much to type out. I don't imagine he will stay in business because he's so dishonest & has no clue how operate his business. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere! Update since my original review... the pool was finally finished. We have spent thousands to have the pavers redone. New company has said they've never seen such horrible work before. Jose should be shut down.

Ibiza Pool attempted a resurface of our pool but the finish was not done in a professional manner…read more Some specific problems: 1. significant defects and divots; 2. corners were not well formed; 3. there are clumps of white concrete left on the blue finish; 4. the quartz was not properly finished up to the tile; 5. diamond step spotters were partially covered with quartz/cement (so they appear misshapen/not square); 6. finish on the steps is very rough; 7. tiles were installed with cut/sharp edges facing out. In addition, Ibiza's work crew was careless - they mixed chemicals on a corded off new driveway, broke sprinkler heads, left cement foot prints all over the pool deck and only cleaned up when we called them back to do so. An Ibiza rep subsequently inspected the work and indicated that they would completely redo the finish properly at no cost to us, but that was more than 2 months ago and despite a subsequent discussion, Ibiza hasn't made any good-faith effort to replace the finish as promised. Finally, despite our multiple, significant concerns, we haven't heard a single word during this process from Ibiza's CEO & Florida Licensed Pool Contractor, Mr. Attila Adam. We have been hoping that he would want to make this right, but have been disappointed thus far by his lack of involvement with our concerns.

For me time was important because I need it to take a decision before to return home. the next day I had all others offers on the table was easy to eliminate others and stop at them offer. He return to the house as soon as I called and he already knew that I needed at one visit all information that he can provide and samples to choose from. He had all ready for me ,making my life easier. We had set time for the job. I return to Florida for the time of the renovation. We had kind of trouble ,because he was behind with the previous job so starting my job need it to delay, not much but time was important for me because we need it to return home to our job and our life and the delay was jeopardise the plan. I entered in a panic mode even when he told me not to worry the pool will be done in time to my departure. Do you think I could sleep till I had the team start working on the pool? Noooo. They start almost 3 days later and as soon as they started ,they keep working till the pool was done. Of course was done way before my departure, but been first time reline the pool I didn't knew how long it will take. It was lots of stress ,I can say that. BUT not because of them it was because of me that's how I am...for sure next time things will be better. Now looking back 3 months since the pool was done ,I'm so proud of my pool and will pick them again with out shopping around. The pool is amazing, my guests love it ,we love it ,the price was fair the job is amazing done. If you are a local resident you will be okay with timing in case of delays, if you are owner of vacation home just don't book tide time for this just in case unexpected happened.
