System didn't work. It was obvious it had never been tested. Christopher recommended another path that required additional service/parts - VERY expensive solution. My husband replaced a dollar fuse, and the system worked. We had a separate service request. The work done was not what was originally discussed (much less this time) The invoice arrived 20% higher than what was communicated via text, with NO detail (just flat fee) We asked for the invoice detail We received an invoice with two lines (service and parts) The parts did not reflect the parts used. It totaled $165 and had generic parts, some of which were not even used. The service hours did not reflect the time invested. Christopher stated he would agree to revising the invoice to reflect what he had listed originally in the text to my husband, as a "favor". He would not revise the estimate to reflect the actual work done or parts use. I stated that I simply wanted to pay for the job completed - parts and labor. I have all of this in writing via text. And, we tried to give him many opportunities to correct the invoice without any negative assumptions. In the end, we will pay our invoice. I just know, as a small business owner, your reputation is very important. If customers don't have confidence in the integrity of the work being done, it definitely limits the success of the brand.

Unfortunately, as the business has grown, customer service seems to have gone downhill significantly. Last fall, we had our pool liner replaced, which was certainly not a small expense. When the liner crew finished, they left numerous sandbags in the pool all winter. When the opening crew arrived this spring, they piled the sandbags on our lawn and deck. When I asked them to remove them, I was told they couldn't because the liner department had to handle it. At the same time, we had been promised that all of the pool fixtures would be swapped out for gray fixtures as part of the liner replacement. This was never done. I called multiple times regarding both the sandbags and the fixture replacement. I spoke with employees in the store, the repair technician who worked on our filter, and staff at the South Easton location when purchasing chemicals. Each time I was told someone would contact the liner department or follow up. No one ever did. After at least five phone calls, someone finally came and removed the sandbags. When I asked about the fixture replacement, I was told they knew nothing about it. I then emailed both Dave, the owner, and Alex, the liner manager. To date, I still have not received a response regarding whether they intend to complete the work they promised. My experience has been that when you're buying a pool or paying for a new liner, they're very attentive. However, when you need customer service afterward, getting a response is extremely difficult. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality is second to none. As a new pool owner, I'm doing pretty well with understanding the operations of all the equipment but had an issue where my heater kept shutting off. After talking with Mike on Friday night, he diagnosed the problem and had another team member (I wish I knew your name to give you a shout out, too) here first thing Saturday morning....of Memorial Day weekend to address the issue. My pool is up and running beautifully! No wonder Easton Pool & Spa, Inc. is rated and ranked above and beyond the rest! They were absolutely the best, the owner brought a third guy and stayed and worked as well, we will never go back to Leslie's. Leslie's does not stand behind what they sell (big expensive items) . We called them multiple times when we had questions after we started the chemicals that they gave us just to make sure we're doing everything right and never once I feel like they were aggravated that we're bothering them so much I am so pleased and I won't go anywhere else thank you sunshine pool

The young kid was nice but still learning so didn't have the knowledge. He referred me to the older employee who was rude throughout, constantly making snarky comments. I quickly learned he didn't know what he was talking about and didn't seem interested in helping. He told me to return the next day when they had more parts coming in. I came in two days later to give extra time. He continued to be rude and said all the parts were still on pallets in the back. It became clear that unless your buying an expensive piece, like a pump or a vac, they don't have time for you. Sunshine Pools in Pembroke have always been great, so despite the drive that's where I'll go. These guys might sell you something but the won't help when you have issues, which all pool owners know are frequent and annoying.
