From that point on, our pool was a disaster. After last year's brutal freezes, the wall blew out again, Our replacement was a premium grade from Pool and Patio in Coventry. My wife searched for days, and we finally decided in Mark. Despite a few "sour apples" from obviously difficult, hard to please people, after speaking with him, we were convinced he was our choice. He showed up on time, well prepared, and very informative. He was very professional and the quality of his work was very obvious. He took percautions keeping in mind the landscape, and explained every key step. Mark has been doing this since he was ten years old, the quality of his workmanship is clearly evident. In chatting he explained how far he'll go to make sure his customers are happy. He's very ambitious, and hardworking. As the pictures will show, his workmanship is excellent. His rate was unmatched and very fair, (especially compared to others that wanted to charge me double the installation rate) He explained how his business offers pool closings at a very reasonable rate. We will be happy to have him close our pool from now on, in addition to any future service work needed. He will also be first to be recomended to any friends looking to install a pool. Unless you're a person that just can't obviously be pleased, you'll have no worries here whatsoever.

He came out for a quote and seemed professional at first. But on installation day, I was surprised to learn he had subcontracted the job to someone else, a contractor who was rude, unprofessional, and canceled because of light morning rain, even though the forecast cleared up by 9 a.m. Mark agreed with their decision and told me to call someone named Carlos, who could "get me in ASAP." I was confused why was I calling anyone else when I had hired him to do the job? We took time out of work to be home and based on the forecast for that day I found it ridiculous! I get if there is going to be chances of heavy rain then obviously a pool install should be cancelled but it was literally dry the ENTIRE DAY after 9 am and the ground was hardly wet where I live! When I questioned it, Mark told me he doesn't make money on the installs and just passes the work off to other contractors. He said he had "no time for me." I was never told the job would be subcontracted, even though the permit was pulled under his company's name. In the end, I can't recommend him due to the lack of honesty and professionalism. Fortunately, the second crew (despite bad reviews) showed up as promised, worked through the extreme heat, and did a great job!

System didn't work. It was obvious it had never been tested. Christopher recommended another path that required additional service/parts - VERY expensive solution. My husband replaced a dollar fuse, and the system worked. We had a separate service request. The work done was not what was originally discussed (much less this time) The invoice arrived 20% higher than what was communicated via text, with NO detail (just flat fee) We asked for the invoice detail We received an invoice with two lines (service and parts) The parts did not reflect the parts used. It totaled $165 and had generic parts, some of which were not even used. The service hours did not reflect the time invested. Christopher stated he would agree to revising the invoice to reflect what he had listed originally in the text to my husband, as a "favor". He would not revise the estimate to reflect the actual work done or parts use. I stated that I simply wanted to pay for the job completed - parts and labor. I have all of this in writing via text. And, we tried to give him many opportunities to correct the invoice without any negative assumptions. In the end, we will pay our invoice. I just know, as a small business owner, your reputation is very important. If customers don't have confidence in the integrity of the work being done, it definitely limits the success of the brand.

Unfortunately, as the business has grown, customer service seems to have gone downhill significantly. Last fall, we had our pool liner replaced, which was certainly not a small expense. When the liner crew finished, they left numerous sandbags in the pool all winter. When the opening crew arrived this spring, they piled the sandbags on our lawn and deck. When I asked them to remove them, I was told they couldn't because the liner department had to handle it. At the same time, we had been promised that all of the pool fixtures would be swapped out for gray fixtures as part of the liner replacement. This was never done. I called multiple times regarding both the sandbags and the fixture replacement. I spoke with employees in the store, the repair technician who worked on our filter, and staff at the South Easton location when purchasing chemicals. Each time I was told someone would contact the liner department or follow up. No one ever did. After at least five phone calls, someone finally came and removed the sandbags. When I asked about the fixture replacement, I was told they knew nothing about it. I then emailed both Dave, the owner, and Alex, the liner manager. To date, I still have not received a response regarding whether they intend to complete the work they promised. My experience has been that when you're buying a pool or paying for a new liner, they're very attentive. However, when you need customer service afterward, getting a response is extremely difficult. After talking with Mike on Friday night, he diagnosed the problem and had another team member (I wish I knew your name to give you a shout out, too) here first thing Saturday morning....of Memorial Day weekend to address the issue. Even though he's in Fall River, he still said he services pools in Easton as well as in Rehoboth, where I am moving from, but still need pool service until I sell the house I called 2 local Easton pool services and Steve was the only one who immediately returned my call. Not only that, but he came out the next day, first thing in the morning. He not only resolved every issue I had with this new pool, whose system was completely different from what I was used to in Rehoboth, but he explained everything, suggested ways to make things easier for me, and most of all made me feel so comfortable and less anxious about the process of using a DE filter. Not only that, but his price was reasonable and competitive (even better) that other quotes I'd gotten. I read the one review prior to calling him. I have no reason to post a 5 star positive review for him, as I don't know him, he's not a friend. I am simply giving a review based on my experience of using him for 1 hr. Not only am I going to use him in the future to open and close my pool in Easton, as well as to change over to a salt system, but I will use him to take care of my pool in Rehoboth as well. Things didn't work out on my end with building a new garage etc. I reached out to Tom to cancel and he immediately refunded my deposit. No questions asked. Once I was ready, I reached out once again. I had spoken to different people about different products and never felt comfortable. I asked Tom for a recommendation which he referred me to seasonal specialty store of Foxboro. Let me say this. Between SSS of Foxboro and Tom Gaudet construction, things couldn't have gone any better. These guys showed up on time. They were super friendly and professional. They answered all of my questions. I could not have had a better experience from the purchase to the install, it went seamlessly. If I ever need anything else pool related, I will be contacting Tom. I had my pool fully renovated in 2021. for shore pools started servicing it after. I have no work with any other company since i open my pool. In 2023, I started having problems with the equipment. salt generator was connected wrong last year And burned down, the pool was no close properly on winter 2024 and when heater was turned this year water started to coming out from the inside and all pipes were cracked and leaking. I called the guaranty company last year. I was told the company was using unsafe amounts of chemicals, and they were distroying my pool system. To change them. I was busy I to change them. I didn't change them, and now i regret it. Today, I face over $10k in broken equipment . I called them last year to question them about the closing of the pool, equipment left on the floor, and the patio. When i called them Lady was rud and advised not to blamed them for something they didn't do. I pointed out to her that The shore pool has served my poolmsince i open. 7/2021. Guaranty company emailed me with my claim findings and declined to cover my pool. Because signs of long time leakage , and corrections couse by high PH and chemicals.
