Windy River Pools is a new company owned by the Kessler's, a married couple. Robert Kessler owned Pacific Builders Group- a Landscaping & Pool - Design/Build Out company in California for 28 years. He takes that knowledge and his General Contractor license in pool building, renovation and maintaining to Texas! Windy River Pools offers a holistic approach in pool maintenance! When I set up an account with them, Robert trouble-shooted my poorly working Polaris, tuned-up my pool equipment, evaluated the pool water chemistry and vacuumed, removed plaster stains and brushed down my pool! Their monthly maintenance fee is $150 a month! * Instead of bringing my Polaris into Leslies Pool Retail 4 times a year, Robert found it was more to do with the pressure in the pool and corrected the issue. * I was so unhappy with my original pool remodeler that had re-surfaced my pool. I now have a 3rd rebar patch that is eating thru, since the re-plaster! It looks like a pool fire! I had started to interview more remodelers to correct the issue at a big price point. No need. Robert took care of the issue on his first visit. * My main concern was coming home and seeing white powder at the bottom of the pool. I thought the filter was spitting out DE. It was from the weekly chemical service I was using for the pool. They would leave clumps of Shock at the bottom of the pool producing excessive chlorine in the pool. This leads to the plaster eroding. * Windy River Pools have now converted my pool to a mineral pool (a little over $300). The pool uses very few chemicals, I did not need any additional equipment and you should see how clear the water is! Plus it is much more healthy to swim in. What an amazing change! * I always know when they have serviced my pool and what had been done to it with the following report below. Windy River Pool Company is in a class all to its own - like no other! And it is so much easier on the pool owner to have one contact to address all concerns.. at such a reasonable cost. To know my pool is consistently being cared for and any issues, like rebar coming thru, is addressed immediately is such a relief! A few years after I moved here from California, I ended up selling my first home because I was yearning the Pacific Ocean. So I had to buy a home with a pool to look out at. Now look at it! Do not use this pool service…read more We have been not stop arguing with this company for month now We have rented a house for a few month here, instead of fixing the issues and sending the correct response to the landlord they send bullsh!t report Some weeks our pool stays green for a week , some weeks it with alge, and some days it clean but rarely One of the last report they sent was "This is will with aloha pools I wanted to let you know the pool was very green because the power to it was shut off so the pool wasn't running I added shock to get the algea gone I wasn't able to vacuumed it because I can't see the bottom but I scrubbed all the walls " Th pool turned really green. We have been telling them for month now the pump is not flowing right. It has good flow a day or 2 , sometimes 3 hrs then it stops working. The pump stays on , the vacuum keeps staying in one spot floating to top , I mentioned to them the wheel got weathered so it was jammed. Then how the pressure keeps going on and off so it not working properly then it can't make it up the hill without the wheel rubber on , an the bag keeps getting caught since the strap is weathered and tore off. None of this was sent to the land lord or mentioned. Until I finally got ahold one of the cleaner that came buy and started asking these questions Then he told me he ads chlorine in the floater everytime they came out. Im like how have u been doing that if I just literally bought that yesterday. Because when we moved in the one here was broken since havent had one in a few months. He changed the conversation to he put chlorine in Then he came out , said he was just a tech so he doesn't clean the pool. He just work on the filter and pumps and stuff. This company make so many excuses and lies it unbelievable for a company to be this bad. I hope you choose a better pool company because we can't get our landlord to change ours so we are having to deal with them still. Today is Wednesday. Jacob had been taking care of our pool weekly and really kept it clean and also made sure the system is running smoothly. Due to changes in the routes, Troy had been newly assigned to service my pool and also doing a great job of being on schedule and spending time to clean/vacuum then treat the pool water.
